We didn't make an appointment, or call ahead - we simply walked in and were immediately greeted by staff. My sister explained what she wanted and they were able to squeeze her into an appointment right then and there, which was great. Once we checked in, we sat down in the lobby and a few minutes later were called to walk back to one of their treatment rooms. We then waited for someone to come in to start the process, which included asking questions about various fillers, the process, the lip club package and get her before photographs taken... this process took about 15 minutes total, and varies per consultation based on the questions you have. Next, the provider came in and went into depth answering questions about how long the filler lasts and what to expect, which all questions were thoroughly answered. My sister had the option to get them done right then and there but opted to schedule an appointment a little further out in Spring to be summer ready. From the amazing customer service from everyone we encountered, to the in depth explanations of the process - to two people that have no idea how it works, I definitely recommend Allure!

My nurse practitioner went out on maternity leave and there was a charge for services as a 'different' provider was to see me. Wait, same office so why should the patient be on the hook for new charges concerning the previous services rendered? But here is the rub, first visit only removing two skin tags pushed the billing allowance up. First tag removal fee and 2-15 (some limit) removals another fee. Only removed two skin tags to increase the client billing fees with minimum services. On the second follow-up visit which was supposed to be free on touch-up turned yielded new additional changes, new provider (NP still on maternity leave) so have to pay. While at the counter checking out already irritated on new provider charge, an office staff member was instructing the billing person to bill me the maximum charges allowed as this patient was credited on first visit for nearly all the office charges due on negotiated rates. Would appear that billing practices is a concern over patient care. I will not be recommending nor returning back to Grekin Skin Institute/Advanced Dermatology in Shelby Township or other locations.

I can't tell you how freeing it is to not have to worry about mascara! You looked don't up even if you aren't wearing makeup! I have a busy summer planned out and I prefer to not wear much makeup in the summer months. I can go with none of I have a tan which is a great option and makes getting ready very quick! Thankfully, we are using a sensitive formula on me now and I haven't had any issues! Yay!! So lashes are expensive. I won't lie. I have paid less at other places, but the lashes were not done nearly half as well. There are three levels of lash techs that you can choose from and goes based on how full you want your lashes. A classic set can be done by a Jr tech. That's where there is a 1:1 ratio of lash to extension. This gives a very natural look and is the cheapest option. If you want a hybrid, you are getting a mix of the classic and the volume. This is what I choose. A Sr or master tech is necessary for this option. It gives a lot of volume without being totally over done. There is full volume and some other extreme lashes that require a Master tech. My eyes hurt just thinking about that! What about maintenance? We, I choose to get a full every week. Most people go every 2-3 weeks. But I'm extremely picky. The longer you go the longer it takes to fill and the more expensive. For the weekly fills, it generally takes about an hour and about $60 plus a tip. An original full set takes about 2.5 hours and is about $250. I recommend you do some research before making a decision to get lashes. This place is very clean. They wash their hands prior to touching you. And their equipment is sterilized. You do not want to get blepharitis! The salon is super cute too. They offer a variety of services here, not just extensions. They wax, they do brows. And they also offer a lift and tint for your lashes that is a very natural look. I am extremely happy with the results and works totally recommend this salon if you decide to try out the freedom of lash extensions!!
