The bassets, including beagles, range in age from puppies to full grown dogs. Additionally hounds can be viewed for adoption every weekend at the PetSmart in Buckhead. The Basset Hounds range in price from $100 to $250 depending on age. Similar to other adoption non profit shelters, the price is based on vet visits, vaccinations, heart worm testing and treatment, and spaying/neutering. Additionally, like typical breeder requirements, a representative from Basset Hound Rescue of Georgia has to visit the homes before or immediately after adoption takes place. We spent a couple years trying to find a good replacement, but were disappointed with all the brick and mortar groomers we tried. Then we found Amanda with "Luv the Fur." We couldn't be more happy! Lucy loves not going to a brick and mortar groomer with the other barking dogs, waiting in a cage, and added stress. Amanda is great with her. She does a fantastic job, much faster than any other groomer we've tried. Fast doesn't mean less quality, though, Amanda leaves our Lucy clean, trimmed, & adorable! It is so convenient having her come to the house! The "Luv the Fur" customized van is fully equipped with everything needed, so there's no mess to clean up in the house afterwards. (Not to mention, it's really neat how the van was converted into a mobile grooming salon!) We had to wait almost a year for Amanda to have time to accept a new customer. I've hated not being able to recommend her when people ask who grooms Lucy, but she's recently purchased a second van, and is taking new clients. I'm so glad more Fur Babies will be able to enjoy a less stressful grooming!

My friend and I rushed our 4-month-old kitten to this clinic after she got her neck caught in the…read morebed frame. Anyone who loves their pet can imagine the fear and shock we felt. She was breathing but completely unresponsive, and we were terrified she wouldn't wake up. We explained exactly what had happened. The staff recommended an X-ray--which we agreed to, as we were concerned she might have broken her neck. However, they also insisted on pumping her stomach "just in case she got into something." We declined, knowing that wasn't the case. After the X-ray, they confirmed she hadn't broken any bones but noted that she was still in a lateral position and unable to stand. I asked if she was still breathing and if she was okay. They mentioned that after administering an IV, she moved slightly and wagged her tail--giving us hope since she hadn't moved at all when we brought her in. Then, they suggested additional blood work. I refused, believing that if her neck wasn't broken, she likely just needed rest. Instead, I asked to take her home. They insisted she needed to stay overnight for monitoring--at an additional cost we simply couldn't afford. When we asked to see her, nothing could have prepared us for what we saw. She was dead. She was hooked up to machines, her eyes lifeless and almost out of their sockets. I was devastated and furious. I turned to the vet and asked, "Do cats come back from this? Will she wake up?" His response? "The prognosis isn't good." I broke down, feeling completely taken advantage of--not just emotionally but financially. In the end, we were charged $1,000, only to lose her. If you want to be scammed and mistreated in your time of distress, this is the place to go. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau because what they are doing is unethical. Obviously they deserve 0 stars.

But Petmeisters is undoubtedly the most professional, responsible, and caring team I have ever hired to take care of my cat and dog. My wife reached out ASAP to Matchless Frenchies and it was an easy connection from the start. We were able to schedule a FaceTime call, see Ojai, and work out a pick up day/location only a few weeks after. We could tell that they raised their frenchie's right from the moment we met them and we are so glad we got Ojai from them. We've had her for almost two years now and she is the best dog we could have ever asked for! She also has ZERO health issues, which is incredible for French bulldogs.
