They went out of their way to make the party area special (which they decorate nicely for an small extra fee) and were helpful in instructing the kids (and adults). They stood by ready to help without being obtrusive or overbearing and were relaxed and fun to talk to. There are different prices of party packages but all include different options of pottery to paint. This party package includes the painting. If you wish to have food you can bring pizza and they have a neat deal with Kaiser's pizza (I'll also review) who will deliver and give you a discount if you're having a party at Alpaca. This is a very cool option if you're looking for something interesting and fun that is outside of standard birthday party venue. They have a small art studio but it's perfect size for what they use it for. I took a stained glass class here and would highly recommend anyone to take it. It's a 4 hour class where you'll get to take home your stain glass masterpiece. They provide all of the materials and every station is prepped. Melanie was a great teacher. She has over 30 years of experience and she's a great teacher because even with all of her experience she does not act like a know it all. I made a stained glass fish and my mom made a chicken. We had a blast and would definitely take more classes.

Not only did she not use the t-shirts correctly but the back fabric was poor quality and tore. Quilts cannot even be washed. I took it to another quilter and they said the quilting Sally used was so spaced apart that when washed it would fall apart. The binding was horrible and uneven and the corners were not finished. I now have to pay hundreds of dollars on top of the $400+ I already paid her to have it taken apart and fixed. I would not recommend her to anyone.

The size 8 needle arrived with a size 3 cable. When I called, the person who answered the phone obviously was more concerned about the incorrect cable getting back to them. I spoke to a couple other in my knitting group who said they'd had similar experiences. In a return call to the first representative, I told her of other knitters telling me they'd had similar issues, she said she'd never heard such a thing. Based on these Yelp reviews, I think that was less than an honest answer. When I spend this kind of money for the Cadillac of needles, I think there needs to be some customer service included. IN THE END, when pressed to speak to a supervisor (and I mean pressed), I did receive a return call. This woman rectified the situation immediately. No questions asked. She was very kind, apologized for any confusion. I received the correct cable within a day and all is right with the world. Too bad I had to fight for it!

AND I paid a huge premium for overnight delivery. (Anyone who has purchased Signaure needles will be shocked to learn that I paid nearly as much for shipping as I did for the needles.) When I didn't get a shipping email, I called today - they day they were supposed to be delivered - to get the tracking number, and I discovered that "for some reason, those were not shipped out. I will see if I can get those out to you today." From reading the reviews here, it is clear that, while they make wonderful needles, their customer service is a huge weakness, and I am very disappointed.
