I had another chair recovered in velvet at Calico Corners in Wilmette and it does not attract dust and lint at all so it is not necessarily a function of all velvets. You were not nearly as helpful as you sound here on yelp when I had these complaints after the sofa was done. You' were completely unresponsive and refused to assist any further. At minimum, the sofa should've been comfortable and you definitely did mislead me on your product.

While the times are unprecedented, the method of customer service chosen by Decor8 was that of delay and lack of clarity: - Two points that seemed to be cover-up scenarios. "I just spoke to the installer and he'll be there within an hour"...he was on site already. - Higher than normal charges on the second bill appeared with deceptive grouping / lesser detail on bill line items. After review, under-scoping by decor8 on the first install was added into a second separate purchase. An item that surely could have been managed between the parties at the time of the initial overrun. - The delay was so much and communication so poor so that we genuinely reported the last installment as potential fraud In addition to customer service, it's important to note that, now, several months later, we're facing our third large quality issue. The reality of home improvement these days is nuanced customer requests and long lead times. These two components can be properly managed but low levels of customer service have turned a potentially transformational install into a large liability.

Our warranty had expired. The company that we purchased these pieces from still offered the same set...for $2500 more than we originally paid. My husband and I agreed that if the repair cost under $1000 it would be worth the cost and better for the environment. After a few phonecalls and emails, I was finally able to connect with Leather Solutions Of Chicago. They are kind good people. They are truly worth the wait. Their skill is second to none. I was without furniture for a little over a week. I literally wanted to cry when I saw the repair. You would have never known that I had it repaired. They not only replaced the damaged pieces and restuffed the cushions, they also matched the color of the leather perfectly.
