Oh boy, what a hidden gem! My wife chose this place for dinner because it had 'cajun' and 'pho' in the name (LOL) - two of our favorite cuisines. I was skeptical initially but boy was I wrong. We had a bunch of things - the Egg Fried Rice, Pork Dumplings, Rice Paper Roll, the Cajun Shrimp boil with corn and a Seafood pancake. Everything was delicious. If I have to nitpick, I'll say the corn wasn't that fresh - and I LOVE corn so that was a minor dampener in an otherwise perfect dinner. A big shout to our server, Leroy. He helped us throughout the ordering process. Thanks to him, I think we ordered all the right items off the large menu. The place is quite big with enough seating for large groups. Definitely worth a visit!

Not pictured are the crab and shrimp boil. The food was so good. We will come here every time we're in town. A new staple for us. Very flavorful and good portion size for the price.

Amazing experience a Cajun Crab & Pho. Located in a crowded strip mall on Saddle Creek, it's an oasis inside. Unexpectedly calming. Ordered a seafood combo of crab, shrimp and sausage. Chose cajun hot. I was not expecting the puffy plastic bag it arrived in! The server was very friendly when I said it was my first visit, explained to me how the bib and gloves worked. I have enough Maryland chops to handle the crab legs. The spice level was just right. It was not too hot and I could probably handle extra hot, but have learned that when it comes to spice level, it's best to start on the mildly hot side and kick it up from there rather than just dive in to a big number because there's no telling how hot the latter might be. Everything was delicious. I'm already plotting my return. p.s. The restroom was sparkly. This is more significant to me than it used to be as I believe it reflects on unseen kitchen protocol as well.

This is my go-to spot for Vietnamese food in Omaha. Inside, it's seafood-themed, as their seafood boil is the star of the show. I like getting their spicy noodle Hue-style soup (bun bo hue) . Their seafood boil is pretty good too! Our food got served pretty quickly. I haven't had a bad experience here yet and hoping it stays that way.

Even though this place is unassuming from the outside (located in a strip mall on a busy road), it seems to be a hidden gem for Vietnamese and Cajun! I'll admit, I was a little confused about the fusion too. It's not really a mixture of Cajun and pho; rather, there are distinct sides of the menu for each cuisine. They were PACKED on a Saturday night, with many waiting in the lobby with a number to be seated. This system seemed to work, as we probably waited less than 20 minutes despite being a few parties down the list. The atmosphere is definitely casual, with mostly nautical decor. There is a good amount of seating. They offer takeout as well, with a dedicated counter for that up front. Once seated, we ordered pretty quickly. I started with the fried spring rolls and had the rare steak pho for an entree. The spring rolls were crispy and fresh, with a tasty sauce as well. I also enjoyed my pho and had plenty for leftovers. The broth had a great flavor, and there was a good amount of noodle, veggies, and meat. I appreciate that there is a ton to choose from on the menu, whether you're in the mood for a seafood boil or pho. I can't speak to the quality of the seafood, but it definitely seemed to be popular with other patrons. Our server was a little awkward, but we still had prompt service. I only noticed that our drinks got a little low.

We were immediately greeted, seated and drink orders put in! The waitress helped with menu questions and was so friendly too! Overall the place was about 3/4 full but everyone seemed pleased with their food from all the smiles on customers' faces. The seafood boils were customized and served with a flourish-- along with bibs and gloves. The place was spacious and not loud even with all the serious eating happening! Honestly, I enjoyed the most flavorful Pho I've ever tasted, and I've eaten in multiple restaurants around the country! What more can I say?Generous portions and tastebud happiness! We cannot wait to return!

I ordered 2 family-sized Cajun Crabs for my husband's birthday and requested a happy birthday note. I must say, both my husband and I loved it. We did not expect the cheesecake; you didn't have to do that, guys. The birthday letters alone were already a lot of effort. Thank you for making his day special.

Great place! The food is always great. They have a good selection of pho and seafood boils. The portions are huge! You will not leave here hungry. The staff is always nice and will help you decide what flavor you want.

This place is nicely located in an area with lots of parking; from the outside it looks very nice and inviting. The ambiance was great and the customers seemed to be having a good experience. I had the pleasure of being served by a wonderful lady at the Cajun Crab. She was very helpful when making my order and gave extra attention to my special requests and she offered several suggestions. The restaurant is very spacious, clean and nicely decorated in the nautical decor. My order was to-go and I particularly appreciated the way that they individually packed everything securely so that I could combine at home for myself. I ordered the grilled porkchop plate and it was very tender and very tasty. Additionally, I also ordered the Rice paper rolls that were made with fresh vegetable shrimp and pork with a spicy fish sauce on the side. I love the simple, fresh and healthy treat and I thought it was a great accent to the rest of my meal. My favorite of this order was the #7. Bun Bo Hue - (no fish cake) Beef brisket, pork and lot of fixings to create the total Pho experience. It was the perfect level of spice that had a nice spicy kick but not overwhelming that I could not enjoy. I thought it had a little too much oil, but its okay because overall it was a wonderful dish that I would definitely return for and order again. Overall, I thought I was a great meal and each dish was prepared with great detail and everything tasted wonderful. I would definitely return to try more things on the menu.

Go - Tasty, clean, great menu options and very friendly with great service. All the things you want when you go out for dinner. Spring rolls very good, #1 on the Cajun side on the menu - crab legs and crawfish..... delicious

I have been here twice and each time the customer service has been good the food comes out very quick and is hot when placed on the table. The restaurant is always clean and to my surprise the bathroom is fair. Now the food is pricey and not worth it to me but with not too many seafood places in Omaha this would come close to what I was looking for. we order the seafood boil mild spice, fried fish and chicken pho.

Ummm.... YUMMMMMM !!! We've been meaning to venture here for a while now and finally had the chance for a lunch date, so we decided to check this great place out. The snow crab was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. The pho noodle dish was just as delicious :) Our waitress was attentive, 6 not intrusive at all. The restaurant itself is nice and spacious, however the staff seemed to take turns picking the music so it was very loud at times and all over the place. Definitely a place that will he a staple for our Omaha seafood list!!

Really enjoyed the bun bo hue here (spicy soup) and my husband loved the egg pancake (haven't found it at any other Vietnamese restaurants in Omaha)! Prices are very reasonable. We will be back!

Hidden treasure in the heart of Old Mill. As my friend said, "more people need to know about this…read moreplace." All of the food is made to order, and it's authentic Louisiana fare. Friendly staff, decent bar, and great meals. Budget-friendly food that's better than the standard whatever you're used to. Cool vibe - can't wait to go back. The interior is a little boxy, but with lots of decor like chandeliers with Mardi Gras beads hanging down, some uplighting, and cute New Orleans pictures on the walls. Our favorite little side/app, are the Boudin Balls, which are kind of like hush puppies, but with a nice helping of remoulade on top. Yum! My fave go-to entree is the Five Pepper Cream pasta, which is fettuccini tossed in a creamy creole sauce, with a huge breaded filet of blackened chicken on top. Another favorite is the Creole Mac, which is a Mac and Cheese, but with a spicy sauce/spices on top, and filled with andouille sausage as well as sliced, grilled chicken. It definitely has a kick, so if you're averse to any heat, then maybe choose something else. And lastly, I sometimes get the Cajun Meatloaf, if I'm feeling like a heavier dish. It is meatloaf, like you've obviously had a million times, but it is sitting in a dish full of grits and sweet potatoes, and topped with a creamy white béchamel sauce. They also have a lunch size portion of this, which I appreciate. And each entree comes with a little slice of cheesy bread, that's great to dip in the extra sauce of your dish! We sometimes also get the desserts, and they have a great crème brûlée and bananas foster. It's hard to find a good bananas foster in Omaha, and theirs is really good, and very large! The service we have had has always been pretty good, but we did have a weird encounter with one server recently. She made a joke about something (I can't even remember what it was), but it was a little bit poking fun at my husband. It was fine and we all laughed a little at it, but what was weird was that she kept coming over and repeating it over and over in different ways. It was a little annoying and awkward. The owner (I think?) was walking around making sure everything was ok and chatting with each table, so he was great - no complaints there. I will say the only other drawback is that it definitely is not an inexpensive place to eat, so you can't return TOO often. But when you do, you better come hungry and it needs to be a special treat. Acadian Grille is one of only a few creole/cajun restaurants in Omaha, so definitely give them a try if you are looking for that style of food - or know it and want to find it in Omaha!

I've been to this location before but it's been a while and we really enjoyed coming back. Came in on a Saturday afternoon when it's fairly typical to have live mariachi bands roving the restaurant. The restaurant is large, and has a fun fiesta of decor. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated without reservations. It should be noted that they will take reservations during the week, but not on weekends. There are a number of large tables that can accommodate bigger groups. Complementary parking lot is available out front. However, it does get a little tight during their busy times. This is an interesting Mexican restaurant as it reminds me of something more typical of what you would find on the Yucatán peninsula. Shrimp and mixed ceviche dishes, a large variety of fish dishes, including whole fish that are very traditional for that part of Mexico. They also serve excellent salsa and guacamole, however, this is not the type of Mexican restaurant you can order dishes of queso, or some of the more traditional dishes that you would find at other, more Americanized restaurants. Our server, Christine V was super! We got there a little early in order to secure a larger table off to the side since our infant granddaughter is going to be joining us for a birthday celebration. This restaurant well they don't allow you to bring it outside cakes for dessert offer a variety of desserts that can be offered for special occasions. We also enjoyed their margaritas, which were excellent and offered in the variety of enormous proportions! Everything that was ordered, was generous in quantity and delicious and quality that included a variety of fajitas and shrimp dishes. This location also offers seafood rolls that are prepared at a sushi counter. For those that are a little less brave there are a number of options that offer everything cooked and prepared just like you would find in any local sushi restaurant and as good. The one thing I also love about this restaurant is that it is immaculately clean. There's a dedicated crew that roams and never leaves anything unbussed for long. Everything appears to be wiped, sanitized, and swept in between every round of customers which is brisk. The manager came around and checked on us to ensure we have everything we need and offered us to go bags. Everything about this visit was very positive. Ok the other hand, the service is rather iffy & unpredictable. The chicken & waffles is my go-to for each visit, and they have many types of delicious sides to choose from, with my favorites being the biscuits & berries, goat cheese grits, and also the fried green tomatoes. I have zero problems with the food that they serve here, they always do an excellent job at preparing whatever they need to prepare & the portions are always satisfactory. As for the service, there are days where you will receive perfect service while on others the service is not so great. Some days you will be attended to in a timely manner, while there is other days where there isn't anyone available or willing to seat you somewhere. I've also experienced instances where they didn't attend to our table to take orders until I made a complaint. Most of these instances were during days where the place was virtually empty so it's not because of the place being busy. I've also ordered take out from here before, again some instances are perfect and there's other instances where they don't tell you if a certain food is out of stock via text or call so if you ordered something that isn't in stock, you're forced to wait for them to prepare something else once you arrive to pick up your order. They also don't always include syrup or butter in the takeout bags for chicken & waffles. One minor thing I'm also disappointed about is how the portion of grits has lessened over time, going from being served in a bowl to instead being served in a small cup/mug. Overall, I certainly don't return for the service because you never really know if it's going to be a good day or a bad day for that. It's always the food that brings me back. I do want to like this place, and I do to an extent but again the service is always unpredictable. I'd still say the food is worth coming here to see how it goes.
