Oh boy, what a hidden gem! My wife chose this place for dinner because it had 'cajun' and 'pho' in the name (LOL) - two of our favorite cuisines. I was skeptical initially but boy was I wrong. We had a bunch of things - the Egg Fried Rice, Pork Dumplings, Rice Paper Roll, the Cajun Shrimp boil with corn and a Seafood pancake. Everything was delicious. If I have to nitpick, I'll say the corn wasn't that fresh - and I LOVE corn so that was a minor dampener in an otherwise perfect dinner. A big shout to our server, Leroy. He helped us throughout the ordering process. Thanks to him, I think we ordered all the right items off the large menu. The place is quite big with enough seating for large groups. Definitely worth a visit!

Not pictured are the crab and shrimp boil. The food was so good. We will come here every time we're in town. A new staple for us. Very flavorful and good portion size for the price.

This is my go-to spot for Vietnamese food in Omaha. Inside, it's seafood-themed, as their seafood boil is the star of the show. I like getting their spicy noodle Hue-style soup (bun bo hue) . Their seafood boil is pretty good too! Our food got served pretty quickly. I haven't had a bad experience here yet and hoping it stays that way.

Amazing experience a Cajun Crab & Pho. Located in a crowded strip mall on Saddle Creek, it's an oasis inside. Unexpectedly calming. Ordered a seafood combo of crab, shrimp and sausage. Chose cajun hot. I was not expecting the puffy plastic bag it arrived in! The server was very friendly when I said it was my first visit, explained to me how the bib and gloves worked. I have enough Maryland chops to handle the crab legs. The spice level was just right. It was not too hot and I could probably handle extra hot, but have learned that when it comes to spice level, it's best to start on the mildly hot side and kick it up from there rather than just dive in to a big number because there's no telling how hot the latter might be. Everything was delicious. I'm already plotting my return. p.s. The restroom was sparkly. This is more significant to me than it used to be as I believe it reflects on unseen kitchen protocol as well.

Even though this place is unassuming from the outside (located in a strip mall on a busy road), it seems to be a hidden gem for Vietnamese and Cajun! I'll admit, I was a little confused about the fusion too. It's not really a mixture of Cajun and pho; rather, there are distinct sides of the menu for each cuisine. They were PACKED on a Saturday night, with many waiting in the lobby with a number to be seated. This system seemed to work, as we probably waited less than 20 minutes despite being a few parties down the list. The atmosphere is definitely casual, with mostly nautical decor. There is a good amount of seating. They offer takeout as well, with a dedicated counter for that up front. Once seated, we ordered pretty quickly. I started with the fried spring rolls and had the rare steak pho for an entree. The spring rolls were crispy and fresh, with a tasty sauce as well. I also enjoyed my pho and had plenty for leftovers. The broth had a great flavor, and there was a good amount of noodle, veggies, and meat. I appreciate that there is a ton to choose from on the menu, whether you're in the mood for a seafood boil or pho. I can't speak to the quality of the seafood, but it definitely seemed to be popular with other patrons. Our server was a little awkward, but we still had prompt service. I only noticed that our drinks got a little low.

We were immediately greeted, seated and drink orders put in! The waitress helped with menu questions and was so friendly too! Overall the place was about 3/4 full but everyone seemed pleased with their food from all the smiles on customers' faces. The seafood boils were customized and served with a flourish-- along with bibs and gloves. The place was spacious and not loud even with all the serious eating happening! Honestly, I enjoyed the most flavorful Pho I've ever tasted, and I've eaten in multiple restaurants around the country! What more can I say?Generous portions and tastebud happiness! We cannot wait to return!

Great place! The food is always great. They have a good selection of pho and seafood boils. The portions are huge! You will not leave here hungry. The staff is always nice and will help you decide what flavor you want.

I ordered 2 family-sized Cajun Crabs for my husband's birthday and requested a happy birthday note. I must say, both my husband and I loved it. We did not expect the cheesecake; you didn't have to do that, guys. The birthday letters alone were already a lot of effort. Thank you for making his day special.

This place is nicely located in an area with lots of parking; from the outside it looks very nice and inviting. The ambiance was great and the customers seemed to be having a good experience. I had the pleasure of being served by a wonderful lady at the Cajun Crab. She was very helpful when making my order and gave extra attention to my special requests and she offered several suggestions. The restaurant is very spacious, clean and nicely decorated in the nautical decor. My order was to-go and I particularly appreciated the way that they individually packed everything securely so that I could combine at home for myself. I ordered the grilled porkchop plate and it was very tender and very tasty. Additionally, I also ordered the Rice paper rolls that were made with fresh vegetable shrimp and pork with a spicy fish sauce on the side. I love the simple, fresh and healthy treat and I thought it was a great accent to the rest of my meal. My favorite of this order was the #7. Bun Bo Hue - (no fish cake) Beef brisket, pork and lot of fixings to create the total Pho experience. It was the perfect level of spice that had a nice spicy kick but not overwhelming that I could not enjoy. I thought it had a little too much oil, but its okay because overall it was a wonderful dish that I would definitely return for and order again. Overall, I thought I was a great meal and each dish was prepared with great detail and everything tasted wonderful. I would definitely return to try more things on the menu.

I have been here twice and each time the customer service has been good the food comes out very quick and is hot when placed on the table. The restaurant is always clean and to my surprise the bathroom is fair. Now the food is pricey and not worth it to me but with not too many seafood places in Omaha this would come close to what I was looking for. we order the seafood boil mild spice, fried fish and chicken pho.

    Sebastian B.

Ummm.... YUMMMMMM !!! We've been meaning to venture here for a while now and finally had the chance for a lunch date, so we decided to check this great place out. The snow crab was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. The pho noodle dish was just as delicious :) Our waitress was attentive, 6 not intrusive at all. The restaurant itself is nice and spacious, however the staff seemed to take turns picking the music so it was very loud at times and all over the place. Definitely a place that will he a staple for our Omaha seafood list!!

My real hang up with our visit was the server situation. We weren't truly adequately waited on and to be honest it was a little odd. When we were seated we were told our server would be right with us. After 11/12 minutes of just sitting there the gal had come back and asked us if our server had ever come over, which we told her he had not. She explained that she would take our order and then switch it to him later on. She grabbed us drinks, took our order, and delivered our food. Shortly after getting our food, our server came back to us while simultaneously putting on a coat saying that she was leaving and that he would be our server now. He never came back until it must've been obvious that we were looking for our check (keep in mind that our meal took a while to eat because crab is work). The funny thing was that a third server brought the check! It was a weird situation and honestly for the price of the food, service she be better. The food overall had great flavor and the portions were a good size. We tried the calamari and then for our daughter ordered the fried rice and lobster bisque. Everything was pretty good. My husband and I both got crab; I did the garlic butter and he did a spicer Cajun. He said his was great but unfortunately the corn with mine felt like it just was pulled from the fridge. I think this restaurant has great potential but they really need to brush up on service. I'm a little iffy if I would return.

I chose the garlic butter Old Bay with medium spice. I loved this spice combination; it was very seasoned, just the way I like it. My husband got the exact same thing but added 1/2 lbs sausage to it and chose the lemon pepper with medium spice and was extremely happy with it. We will definitely be back.

They definitely have/had some pretty high prices compared to other eateries in the area. I'm not sure if that is caused by cost of goods or location or what, but I think that did come into play when a lot of economic hardship is happening all over. Like I mentioned above, I DID like their food, but it definitely had to be a special occasion type of thing, due to the high prices. When we did go, I LOVED the Maryland Crab Dip. It reminded me of my favorite crab dip in the world, at the SweetWater Brewing Company in Atlanta. We also had the Green Bean Almandine that was on special last time we went and that was pretty good, but you have to be a green bean fan, for sure. I decided to try the sushi as my main dish last time, and had the Everything Crunch Maki, which consisted of cooked salmon, jalapeño, and cream cheese. It was pretty good, and had a little hint of spice to it from the jalapeño, which cut the heavy cream aspect. My husband had the Grilled Atlantic Salmon for his entree, and gave me a few bites. It was cooked well and the mushroom risotto below it was very flavorful and filling. The cute nautical ambiance and excellent service were always appreciated, so no complaints there either. I think if they had been in a different area with less expensive rent and cost of goods, I may have visited more often.

For our meals, I ordered the Wagyu Bolognese ($30), and my friend had the Braised Short Rib ($39). We also shared the Herb Butter Buns ($8), which were fabulous--hot, soft, and served with whipped butter and flaked sea salt. Pure perfection. Unfortunately, the entrees were disappointing. Salted Edge is definitely more of a "treat" for us given the price, and we were both excited to try Chef Joel Hassanali's creations. With his background--growing up in Trinidad, working in his parents' Caribbean restaurant, and training under world-renowned chefs in NYC--we were expecting bold flavors and spice. Instead, both dishes were surprisingly bland. Her short rib, which comes with a jalapeño potato cake, Bloomsdale creamy spinach, and horseradish crumble, lacked the punch we were hoping for. The ambiance is lovely, the staff attentive and polished, and everything looks beautiful. The pasta was freshly made, the meat tender, and the presentation impressive. But for those of us who don't get to splurge on fine dining often, the food didn't deliver the wow factor we expected. Overall, it was an elegant experience, but I'm in no rush to return.

The interior is a little boxy, but with lots of decor like chandeliers with Mardi Gras beads hanging down, some uplighting, and cute New Orleans pictures on the walls. Our favorite little side/app, are the Boudin Balls, which are kind of like hush puppies, but with a nice helping of remoulade on top. Yum! My fave go-to entree is the Five Pepper Cream pasta, which is fettuccini tossed in a creamy creole sauce, with a huge breaded filet of blackened chicken on top. Another favorite is the Creole Mac, which is a Mac and Cheese, but with a spicy sauce/spices on top, and filled with andouille sausage as well as sliced, grilled chicken. It definitely has a kick, so if you're averse to any heat, then maybe choose something else. And lastly, I sometimes get the Cajun Meatloaf, if I'm feeling like a heavier dish. It is meatloaf, like you've obviously had a million times, but it is sitting in a dish full of grits and sweet potatoes, and topped with a creamy white béchamel sauce. They also have a lunch size portion of this, which I appreciate. And each entree comes with a little slice of cheesy bread, that's great to dip in the extra sauce of your dish! We sometimes also get the desserts, and they have a great crème brûlée and bananas foster. It's hard to find a good bananas foster in Omaha, and theirs is really good, and very large! The service we have had has always been pretty good, but we did have a weird encounter with one server recently. She made a joke about something (I can't even remember what it was), but it was a little bit poking fun at my husband. It was fine and we all laughed a little at it, but what was weird was that she kept coming over and repeating it over and over in different ways. It was a little annoying and awkward. The owner (I think?) was walking around making sure everything was ok and chatting with each table, so he was great - no complaints there. I will say the only other drawback is that it definitely is not an inexpensive place to eat, so you can't return TOO often. But when you do, you better come hungry and it needs to be a special treat. Acadian Grille is one of only a few creole/cajun restaurants in Omaha, so definitely give them a try if you are looking for that style of food - or know it and want to find it in Omaha!

The restaurant is large, and has a fun fiesta of decor. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated without reservations. It should be noted that they will take reservations during the week, but not on weekends. There are a number of large tables that can accommodate bigger groups. This is an interesting Mexican restaurant as it reminds me of something more typical of what you would find on the Yucatán peninsula. Shrimp and mixed ceviche dishes, a large variety of fish dishes, including whole fish that are very traditional for that part of Mexico. Ideal for people who are looking for a nice piece of fish and some sides, and the addition of a small sauce on the side is a perfect way to elevate flavors. Also easy for those who are watching their calories. The timing of things coming out of the kitchen was not ideal for us. The drink came out from the bar maybe a minute before the salad, so it took a while. And then we only had salads for a few minutes before they brought the entrées. They've also introduced those portable POS machines that the servers carry around. I understand there are many pros for these, but honestly, I really dislike them. I've only been here for a Yelp event, but I really enjoyed myself. My friends had been and we were all expecting good food and great service. It started off good with appetizers and our server brought out drinks right away. We were chatting and having a good time until our entrées came out. They were all delicious except for my husband. He ordered a medium steak, but it came out rare. That was fine. They took it back, but it came back a second time a little more charred on the outside, but still RARE. By this time, everybody was about done with their food we were trying to flag down a server find a manager someone can help us. But to our dismay, we honestly couldn't find anyone for a good 20 to 30 minutes. My friend got out of her seat and walked around to find the manager. Sad to say they didn't really care. By the time the server came we let her know and she just said sorry they will remove it from the bill. My husband left last night without any dinner. He only had a few appetizers, but he was done after that. We were very dissatisfied and I don't know if it was because they were short staffed but this was very disappointing. I also wanted to mention how crowded it felt with the tables. When I first got in I went to the restroom to wash my hands and had to maze my way through the tables. When I got into the restrooms, there were chairs stacked up in the women's restroom. It was also very dirty and kind of gross. I know my husband will never want to come back, which is a bit of a bummer for me because I really like the food but oh well. The positive aspects were the rest of us ordered seafood, and that was all great. The sides now come separately and are gigantic. The greeter was friendly and seated us quickly. Despite all the negative, we still had a wonderful time with our friends.
