If you like Cajun seafood boil...this is the place for you! I wasn't really expecting much when we decided to try this place out, but I was pleasantly surprised and it definitely exceeded my expectations. If you've had the pleasure dining at a Boiling Crab in California (or Texas, or Hawaii), this is the closest thing you'll get to that experience. From the butcher paper on top of the table, the bib you wear and your food being served in plastic bags...it really adds to the ambiance and the dining experience. Yelp pro tip--Bring your own latex/nitrile gloves. The plastic gloves they give you may just frustrate you as they slip in and out of your fingers.

    Seafood Deluxe Combo

Went here for Fathers Day and it did not disappoint. We ordered the seafood deluxe and added on an extra pound of shrimp since there were six of us eating. We also ordered hush puppies because , well hush puppies are always good and these were. Our food came in a reasonable amount of time and it did not disappoint. We ate every bit of it and walked away very satisfied. Our waitress was very attentive and we will definitely be back.

    NASTY NOT SEAFOOD GUMBO

Service was good, our waiter confused our orders but we eventually figured out whose was whose! This is definitely a place you need to try the hot was not hot, if you like spice go up one or even two! Flavor was so tasty! I eat this fast because once it gets cold the butter starts to get hard I kept mine in the bag since I feel like it stays warm longer! The place is decorated so cute and appealing. I would definitely go back again!

Stopped here for the first time. We ordered the soft shell crab, hush puppies and calamari. First time trying calamari and soft shell crab and they didn't disappoint. Service was very friendly and food came out hot and fresh

Seafood boil: blue crab and head on shrimp. Hot & house blend seasoning
    Kaitlyn M.

Service was great. Attentive. The bloody Mary was nice. The seafood boil was so delicious. I loved the flavor combination and the heat. I would definitely recommend splurging the extra dollar for head off shrimp next time. I would also recommend splurging on the crab. A lot of the meat was stuck in the shell. It also just seemed like a lot of extra work for the blue crab. They were hard to open compared to the regular crab I'm used to getting. I would crack open a leg and the shell would go flying which is not what I'm used to when I have crab legs. Overall I definitely will be back I just will be splurging a little more.

Ok the other hand, the service is rather iffy & unpredictable. The chicken & waffles is my go-to for each visit, and they have many types of delicious sides to choose from, with my favorites being the biscuits & berries, goat cheese grits, and also the fried green tomatoes. I have zero problems with the food that they serve here, they always do an excellent job at preparing whatever they need to prepare & the portions are always satisfactory. As for the service, there are days where you will receive perfect service while on others the service is not so great. Some days you will be attended to in a timely manner, while there is other days where there isn't anyone available or willing to seat you somewhere. I've also experienced instances where they didn't attend to our table to take orders until I made a complaint. Most of these instances were during days where the place was virtually empty so it's not because of the place being busy. I've also ordered take out from here before, again some instances are perfect and there's other instances where they don't tell you if a certain food is out of stock via text or call so if you ordered something that isn't in stock, you're forced to wait for them to prepare something else once you arrive to pick up your order. They also don't always include syrup or butter in the takeout bags for chicken & waffles. One minor thing I'm also disappointed about is how the portion of grits has lessened over time, going from being served in a bowl to instead being served in a small cup/mug. Overall, I certainly don't return for the service because you never really know if it's going to be a good day or a bad day for that. It's always the food that brings me back. I do want to like this place, and I do to an extent but again the service is always unpredictable. I'd still say the food is worth coming here to see how it goes.

I've been to this location before but it's been a while and we really enjoyed coming back. Came in on a Saturday afternoon when it's fairly typical to have live mariachi bands roving the restaurant. The restaurant is large, and has a fun fiesta of decor. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated without reservations. It should be noted that they will take reservations during the week, but not on weekends. There are a number of large tables that can accommodate bigger groups. Complementary parking lot is available out front. However, it does get a little tight during their busy times. This is an interesting Mexican restaurant as it reminds me of something more typical of what you would find on the Yucatán peninsula. Shrimp and mixed ceviche dishes, a large variety of fish dishes, including whole fish that are very traditional for that part of Mexico. They also serve excellent salsa and guacamole, however, this is not the type of Mexican restaurant you can order dishes of queso, or some of the more traditional dishes that you would find at other, more Americanized restaurants. Our server, Christine V was super! We got there a little early in order to secure a larger table off to the side since our infant granddaughter is going to be joining us for a birthday celebration. This restaurant well they don't allow you to bring it outside cakes for dessert offer a variety of desserts that can be offered for special occasions. We were able to select a strawberry Tres Leche cake, which was just perfect for the occasion. We also enjoyed their margaritas, which were excellent and offered in the variety of enormous proportions! Everything that was ordered, was generous in quantity and delicious and quality that included a variety of fajitas and shrimp dishes. This location also offers seafood rolls that are prepared at a sushi counter. For those that are a little less brave there are a number of options that offer everything cooked and prepared just like you would find in any local sushi restaurant and as good. The one thing I also love about this restaurant is that it is immaculately clean. There's a dedicated crew that roams and never leaves anything unbussed for long. Everything appears to be wiped, sanitized, and swept in between every round of customers which is brisk. The manager came around and checked on us to ensure we have everything we need and offered us to go bags. Everything about this visit was very positive. Highly recommend this location as it's been voted one of the best of Omaha for 2023.

I can't actually find it on pictures of the menu, but the dish we ordered was served in a pineapple and it was phenomenal!

They definitely have/had some pretty high prices compared to other eateries in the area. I'm not sure if that is caused by cost of goods or location or what, but I think that did come into play when a lot of economic hardship is happening all over. Like I mentioned above, I DID like their food, but it definitely had to be a special occasion type of thing, due to the high prices. When we did go, I LOVED the Maryland Crab Dip. It reminded me of my favorite crab dip in the world, at the SweetWater Brewing Company in Atlanta. We also had the Green Bean Almandine that was on special last time we went and that was pretty good, but you have to be a green bean fan, for sure. I decided to try the sushi as my main dish last time, and had the Everything Crunch Maki, which consisted of cooked salmon, jalapeño, and cream cheese. It was pretty good, and had a little hint of spice to it from the jalapeño, which cut the heavy cream aspect. My husband had the Grilled Atlantic Salmon for his entree, and gave me a few bites. It was cooked well and the mushroom risotto below it was very flavorful and filling. The cute nautical ambiance and excellent service were always appreciated, so no complaints there either. I think if they had been in a different area with less expensive rent and cost of goods, I may have visited more often.

This spot was right by the hotel in Old Market, and we were early enough to get right in and grab a nice table (during happy hour, no less). The vibes are clean, nautical without being cheesy, and bright. The service was equally bright and helpful, and everything was flowing. On a super hot day, I had a Tom Collin's that was great and refreshing. Our group shared calamari with a top tier dipping sauce, an "aji verde" sauce that was new to me but I would buy it by the pint. We also shared their truffle fries and the side of mustard aioli was great as well. Best fries in a while. For my main, I got the blackened Mississippi catfish that was served over dirty rice, green beans, tomatoes, and a crawfish beurre blanc. It was as good as it sounds, I ate every bite on the plate. Okay, so let's recap: Amazing location? Check. Great service? Check. Good specials/happy hour? Check. Great food? Major check. Hard to top, I'll go here everytime I'm in the area and it was hard not to go back twice.
