    6 lbs Live Crawfish

Good sized crawfish, but it felt like the crawfish itself lacked seasoning. The garlic noodles had good flavor, but the noodles were a tad overcooked. I loved the corn nuggets as well as the fried fish platter. The margaritas here are good as well (and strong).

This place is highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. Viet Cajun crawfish is hands down my favorite and I'm still thinking about the Thai basil from here! Crawfish were perfectly cooked, season, and biggg. We ordered the Thai basil, kitchen special, and Cajun. Kitchen special was yummy but not as saucy and flavorful compared to the Thai basil. Cajun was literally just Cajun seasoning i don't know what I was expecting here. Service was fantastic, servers were constantly making rounds and clearing shells. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Never been here before but friends decided that they wanted crawfish! Personally, not the biggest fan of crawfish so I order other things whenever we go to these places! They did say that the crawfish was good tho! I ended up ordering the fried rice, mini eggrolls and some tater tots! Food was good, portions are massive! Can't complain. Service was also good and fast, so I would definitely recommend this place!

This seafood joint is hands down my favorite crawfish place. I enjoy all of their seafood, always fresh and delicious. I've never had a bad experience here. We arrived in a group of 11 on Monday for dinner. We order too many things to list it here's what I recommend; * boiled crawfish kitchen sauce 3.31.25 $9.99 small size, $11.99 large size *tip: buy 6 lbs or more, get $1 off per pound * seafood basket w/cajun fries (fried oyster and catfish) * Cajun French fries!!! * escargot in chili butter * Oysters on half shell Thai Style * Vietnamese style chicken wings * strawberry lemonade * Bread pudding w/ice cream - comes hot and moist! We were seated right away, no wait at 7:45 PM. Service was good, constantly had bowl changes and the staff was accommodating of our requests. I come here whenever I'm craving crawfish and good seafood!

I always have mixed feelings about this restaurant every time I visit. Having lived in Houston for many years, I make it a point to stop by here for crawfish whenever I return from my culinary food tours. I LOVE the crawfish here! The "Kitchen Special" sauce is one of the best creations for serving crawfish--it's a perfect blend of garlic, citrus, and spicy heat that gets me every time. The garlic noodles are also excellent--not greasy at all. However, the Alfredo noodles were disappointing, with a watery taste that I didn't enjoy. Note to self: probably not a great idea to order Alfredo noodles at a Cajun-Asian-inspired restaurant. Overall, though, it's always a great experience! The service is pretty much a hit or miss and most of the time that I have visited it's been a miss. Ambience wise it's a casual restaurant - could be pretty noisy and good for families. I'm always amazed at young children eating crawfish.

Yum!! Oysters were fresh tasting and delicious. I especially enjoyed the Vietnamese style with the oil and scallion. They were also cheap here! Raw $1 between 3-6pm and grilled $1.50. Boudin balls also tasty if you're looking for something else to fill you up

I used to come here a long time ago religiously during crawfish season, but after a while I took a break and checked out some current beloved crawfish favorites. I still enjoy crawfish here from time to time, and mainly for the kitchen special sauce as it's an awesome blend of citrus and garlic. One thing I will take some points away for is cleanliness off the overall restaurant. Floors and walls are a bit sticky, and yesterday I received two drinks with one of them being in a dirty cup and the other having some stuff floating in the water. When bringing this to the server's attention, drinks were quickly replaced with a smile. I completely understand this stuff happens, no big deal, but I felt it worth mentioning. Crawfish - 4/5 - I recommend crawfish here during peak season. When they can let them large/jumbo is the best time vs when they are smaller. I say this because there have been times where the crawfish has been too overcooked when eating here and it's a pain peeling / eating overcooked crawfish. Kitchen special is the sauce to choose, and they have all the way up to Cray Cray spicy level which is my personal fave. Our crawfish as of yesterday was a mix of jumbo/large - yum! Grilled Oysters - 3.5/5 - I've tried both their Vietnam And Italy style grilled oysters. Both are decent but nothing really worth noting about them. Between the two, I prefer Italy style.

    Hungry Man's Box

Review is for order via Postmates. Nice that they have allergen options listed in app and I had no issues with a nut allergy. I got two Hungry Man's Baskets and Drink Bundles (BOGO / Buy One Get One Free via app). One was shrimp, oysters, and crawfish and the other was chicken, catfish, and tilapia so I got to try most of the options. Despite being only a few blocks away, condensation and steaming of the fried seafood caused significant sogginess in the delivered boxes. The fried oyster was the most "fishy" tasting. I don't think I'd order those again. I enjoyed the shrimp maybe the most. They were large and de-tailed already. The crawfish was normal but a bit dry due to frying. Chicken tenders were nothing special. The catfish and tilapia were both soggy but otherwise as expected. The fries that came with the catfish and tilapia were much soggier than the fries that came with the smaller seafood. The fries had decent seasoning and were pretty salty. Drinks came very diluted and packed with ice. Overall, the value was great and portions were sizable (two boxes fed three people with leftover fries) but the food quality wasn't the best after delivery.

However, I do believe that, with so much big competition in this area, some of their dishes can be better. 1. Ha Kao - Pretty nice and plump dumplings with a good wrapper to filling ratio, though the wrapper kept falling apart on us and sticking to the container and didn't complement the shrimp on the inside. 2. Siu Mai - I'm so mad I didn't enjoy this, despite it being one of my favorite things to get at dim sum. The ones we got were just really meaty with none of the other flavors coming through. 3. Shrimp Rice Rolls - I adore these, and Crown thankfully makes it really good. Perfectly bouncy, and unlike the Ha Kao, the texture of this is right for the inside to complement it. I do wish their sauce was a little more complex, though. 4. Fried Shrimp Balls - This is one of the dishes that seems to be pretty uniform across all the restaurants. You're either going to like it or not. I enjoyed it though. 5. Soup Dumplings - Yummy, light broth and not overly medicinal. The wrapper texture was a little inconsistent from bite to bite overall. 6. Egg Tart - I usually don't really like this, but this one was made well. Nice crumbly texture and a very light eggy taste in the filling. Other than that, there were no major flaws in either the service nor the albeit bare interior and exterior of the building. Overall a really good experience that holds up well compared to the other dim sum places in the area.

Michael, the owner, greeted us and took care of us! We started with the Jumbo Crab Fingers which were really good - I'm honestly not huge on seafood, so I enjoyed these a lot more than I thought I would. Ironically, I'm not big on oysters either, so I ordered the Jumbo Golden Fried Shrimp which hit the spot real good. Large shrimp, well fried, flavored, and the tartar sauce was addicting. The fries that came with it were perfectly seasoned, carrying a bit more of a cajun flavor rather than just regularly salted. My parents definitely enjoy oysters, so they ordered the Charbroiled Oysters and really enjoyed it, as well as the Uni Oyster with Quail Egg. They also got the Cowboy Lobster Shrimp Roll that was gone before I even took a second look their way. We finished the meal with a yummy, dense basque cheesecake! Every customer that came in during our time there was personally greeted by Michael, and it seemed like they were all repeat customers. It was really cool to see that kind of connection, and it really showed how much Michael cares about his customers, and how much we like his food! When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit.
