The TOMATO BACON PIMENTO CHEESE PIE is an homage to all the Southern Mommas. It is simply divine in all its cheesy tomatoey glory. Edited to add: the SWEET POTATO AND CARAMELIZED COFFEE CAKE is heaven! It's light and pillowy. Not too sweet, not too crumbly. Whoever concocted the idea for this creation has to know this is the potential masterpiece of everyone's morning. I was just missing the coffee with it, ha! I have stopped in several times before work - whether it's breakfast or caffeine, it's a nice option if you're in the area. The space it cute, with local items for purchase in addition the the food/drinks. They have plenty of seating. I haven't been here for a while and this bakery is a great choice! The service was good, the person that took my order was friendly, and everyone there seems pretty happy. I was craving chocolate croissant and warm coffee in this winter weather and decided to stop by wildflour pastry. I ended up order the chocolate croissant, cortado with oat milk, and 4" quiche (sausage, red pepper, and goat cheese). They all so good and the chocolate croissant is one of the best I have ever eat! WildFlour Pastry has become our go-to spot for fresh sourdough, homemade pies, cookies, and just about anything sweet. There's plenty of parking, the staff is always friendly, and everything we've tried has been excellent. We pick up two loaves of sourdough every week and freeze one for later. Stopped by Wildflour while in the area, it was a pleasant surprise to see it here and open. I had a latte and a raspberry pistachio croissant. The latte was a typical non-franchise latte; not super sweet or overly creamy, smooth and mature flavor profile. The croissant was a real treat, I have never even seen such a pastry, but it had a nice "shell" and the raspberry jam or preserves inside were perfectly complimented by the pistachios. They had a good assortment of pies, muffins, and cookies there, all reasonably priced, as well as a good menu. Fast and friendly service. Very welcoming energy from the whole staff, I interacted with at least three members of the staff, all of whom were delightful, kind and professional. Before I had even finished paying for my pastry, it was ready to go. Fresh flowers on the tables were a beautiful touch; the different bouquets were charming. The music was moody and enjoyable, not too loud or too quiet. Great place for some peace. Brought home a mini coconut cream pie for my father, and being him, he insisted I try it as well. Wow! Delicious. The crust was delightful, the texture was neither soggy nor hard, but a perfect elegant pastry with a subtle saltiness that perfectly complimented the sweetness of the filling and cream. We hadn't been here for a few years and decided to give them another go since we were in the area and jonesing for a bit of baked goodness. We tried an assortment (for purely scientific purposes of course, not because we are gluttons) and can report that Wildflour still has solid offerings even if none were really our favorite. Tried: frosted ginger cookie (which was the best of the bunch and we'd order again near the holiday season), blueberry and lemon curd scone (which missed the mark on any lemon flavor), sweet potato apple crumb coffee cake (super moist and a fabulous streusel crumb), choco croissant (meh), apricot and cheese croissant (another meh and no real cheese flavor coming through), and the mini key lime pie (which tasted overly eggy and had a terrific crust). Service was fast and kind and the place had a solid line going strong for eat in and carry out. Several tables to relax and enjoy your treats, not sure if this Would be a good meet-up spot or working remote option. Our carry out was packed well and allowed us to keep testing the treats for days without anything getting squished or stale. My mom got a spinach and feta quiche from here - it is outstanding as you can really taste the feta flavor. Before we left town, I had to get five of the miniature sized quiches to bring back home, as I wanted to try most of their flavors. We enjoyed all flavors, but this is how I would rank the flavors we tried: Spinach and feta - again the feta is strong, so I love it Bacon and swiss - lots of bacon! Fig, prosciutto and goat cheese - a lot of flavor going on here, but it all works out well. Mushroom and gruyere - lots of mushroom in this one! Sausage, roasted red pepper, and goat cheese - this one was good, but it needed more of the sausage and peppers, didn't get much. I also happened to get the holiday maple pecan cranberry danish - and it was amazing. The maple flavor wasn't strong, but it added a nice bit of sweetness to the tart cranberry. My sundried tomato scone was on the drier side as well, but was a filling item to consume before a long day of beachwalking. My husband and I got Americanos (smooth and delicious) as well as a morning glory muffin (which was like a moist and not too sweet carrot cake with cranberries and toasted walnut), a pecan cinnamon coffee cake muffin, and this super unique tart thing that was like a lightly spiced sweet potato bread topped with a jammy apple layer and perfectly executed crunchy crumble. I had a random Friday off work, and with so many places closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing, I wanted a sweet treat to enjoy at home. WildFlour Pastry was on my list for awhile, so I had to try it out. WildFlour smells amazing when you walk inside- at least from what I could smell through my homemade mask. There's also a kid's play area and lots of seating for when dine-in resumes. The baked goods- cookies, croissants, scones, cupcakes, quiches, brownies, blondies, and more were on display in the cases. WildFlour also had a few sticky buns, which are normally only available on Sunday, but someone placed a bulk order so the staff made some extra to sell. I ordered three cookies to take home for my husband and I to share, and the worker, Lani, was incredibly nice and welcoming when she found out it was my first visit. I love a good chocolate chip cookie, and WildFlour's is solid, but my favorite was the double chocolate cookie. I wasn't originally ordering it, but Lani sold me on it in the bakery. It's rich and delicious, with a hint of meringue, and it melts in your mouth. My husband said the peanut butter cookie was his favorite since it was not too sweet. All of the cookies are large, and they're crispy on the outside but soft inside- just how I like them. WildFlour Pastry was a great quarantine discovery, and I can't wait to go back for a chocolate croissant and a sticky bun. read more

I was able to pick up a few cupcakes & Oreo cheesecake for my husband's birthday. They were honestly the BEST cupcakes I think I've ever had. I LOVED the carrot cake cupcake. This is one of the best bakeries in Charleston. It's in a simple building right next to Highway 17 with its own free parking in the West Ashley area. The selection is excellent. You can get cupcakes, pies, cakes, bars, quiche, cookies and macarons, as well as coffee and more. The staff was so nice and accommodating, even near closing time. You can dine in, with plenty of tables available. The space is friendly and simple. The prices are reasonable. We recommend this spot 100%, Check out my photos for specifics of what we ate. I've always loved Wildflour, but hadn't been in a long time. I recently reignited my passion for pastries and have started going to the West Ashley location when I'm on that side of town. We have a hard time getting out of here without spending $40-$50 every time. Not because the items are overpriced, but because we can't decided and order a little bit of everything. Everytime I try something new it become a favorite and I haven't even had a chance to get a sticky bun yet (mornings aren't my strong suit). I really love the quiche though so one of those are a must. They also have some gluten free options which I'm supposed to be doing more of (shh... don't tell) so that gives me even more of an excuse to go back more often. read more
