This location popped up out of nowhere. My wife and I noticed it one day and wanted to give it a try. And truth be told, the place is remarkable and unique in its own way. Everything made fresh in the morning from what I have been told. And the best part is, it's a place that some of the items remind me of home. I am from Malaysia. Everything was perfection and so delicious. The only one that I wasn't a huge fan of was the black sesame infused cake. Usually something like that should have lesser black sesame, this was a bit overpowering. The best thing honestly on the menu was the Sando. Fruit infused sandwich, best thing ever! I've been wanting to try this for a while now and we were in the area so we came! They were out of a lot of cakes. The lady told me so we decided to get the fruit Sando and the Oreo cake. We also ordered the Matcha milk tea with Boba over ice. The I side is cute and decorated nicely. Although it could use a little something else to tie all the stuff together. Maybe paint the white wall a cute color to match the benches. So the fruit sando is what I was most looking forward to! We are going to Japan soon and I know they have them there, but couldn't wait to try them here first. So the first bite was heaven! Soon after though I noticed a very waxy coating in my mouth. It's very good, but the waxy coating kind of takes away a little bit from the fluffy texture of the dessert. Overall I still like it a lot. The Oreo cake was not too bad. My boyfriend really liked it. The matcha milk tea was good. I was expecting it to be sweeter, like other places, but it's not super sweet. Still a good drink, but don't expect sweet. I took off one start for the waxy mouth feel after eating the fruit sando. I feel like the inside could be fluffier and less waxy. Still a good experience though! read more

Cute small bakery in Edmond. I've heard you can order ahead their sampler trays. That's something I'm definitely interested in doing that at some point to taste the different flavors. I can't believe I've never left a review! I have ordered my youngest son's cake from Da Da in the past before she opened up a brick and mortar location here in Edmond. All my friends and I love her and her sisters creations. The cakes are an Asian style so less sweet, fluffy, with a light subtle flavor. My favorite creation by Da Da is her latest creation the lavender blueberry lemon cake. Literally, the best cake I've ever had in my life! I want to order a full cake for my son's next birthday, because it was that good! Hoping more people can support her so, I can continue to go to her shop to buy treats for the family instead of just custom ordering. I was looking for a new Asian bakery since moving here and stumbled upon her after my hair appointment. I got the pandan coconut mango Swiss roll, the black sesame roll, and two drinks. I was very let down by the cakes. The Panama one had too much whipped cream and it was a little under sweet. There lacked a coconut flavor to it and even the pandan was very light in flavor. The only mango was on the top which I could take or leave. The black sesame one wasn't a huge hit with me and I love black sesame not as much as pandan. My birthday cakes were always either a red velvet or a coconut pandan cake. Heck even my wedding cake was coconut pandan so I was very let down by it here. It was great service. I was so excited to try the Dubai chocolate bar. Completely ruined my evening. First it comes in a big box and when I opened it I get a bar the size of a Hershey and no flavor but chocolate. Ordered the dubai chocolate strawberries and a cup of regular chocolate strawberries. $20 for a cup of chocolate strawberries is a complete rip off, the price was the same for both so I downgraded them to a small, which was $12/each. Also ordered a cheesecake and 2 boba drinks. Since we were taking everything to go, I asked for a cup holder and the lady said "if you ordered 4 strawberry cups I could give you 1 but you only ordered 2". I reminded her that I also ordered 2 drinks and she said "ok, I will give you 1", as if she's doing me a huge favor by doing the BARE MINIMUM of providing me with a cup holder for 4 cups just to come back a few mins later and say we ran out. I paid $52 for these items and would not do it again. I am a foodie, so I don't mind paying for good food but this stuff was not worth the quality. read more

Came by today for Cake It By Da Da's soft opening and it's a cute little bakery in Edmond set up in a small shopping center. The inside is set up like a cafe with cute paintings on the walls. The bakery serves boba and delicious desserts including Coconut Pineapple cake, Mango Pandan, Japanese cheesecake... you name it!! Tried the chocolate mousse and OMG so delicious. Very creamy and great chocolate flavor. I love how their desserts are lighter than true decadence - you don't feel as guilty splurging! The owner was very sweet and was very helpful on picking what desserts I should go for. They also have larger cakes in case you needed something bigger than per slice. All the cakes i tried are not overpoweringly sweet. It's just right amount of sweet which is great. The black sesame and mango pandan are amazing. The cheesecake is alright for me. Giving it an average rating for now, will come back and give them another try. I've heard such good things and I've seen their posts on Facebook, all looked yummy! But my husband and I left disappointed tonight. I wanted to try the Dubai chocolate, but they were sold out. So I just got an Oreo cake and my husband got a Vietnamese iced coffee. The cake was just okay, but the iced coffee is where they really messed up. When the girl working the counter handed my husband his coffee I noticed it didn't look like other Vietnamese iced coffees we've had before. It was more brown in color and had whipped cream and chocolate sauce. I said something to him about it and he confirmed with the girl that it was indeed Vietnamese iced coffee, she said yes. Long story short I'm pretty sure they gave him an iced mocha and it unfortunately was not good at all. We will come back on a different day, earlier in the day and will hopefully have a better experience. I'm a big supporter of Asian owned businesses, so I hope this was just a one off for them. read more

I loved this place!! The lady was genuinely so kind! I tried the dubai chocolate strawberries and the dubai chocolate bar and both were AMAZING! I think they were definitely worth the price and yes it seems expensive for what it is but all of the dubai chocolate bars i've tried to order online have been $40+. really wanted to like this place i really really did, the pastries and cakes are BEAUTIFUL and tasty BUT ten dollars for one small slice of cake that has zero exotic ingredients just strange ones to mix together in edmond is RIDICULOUS, i spent 30 dollars on a plain cheesecake that was whipped a little different more dense and called a Japanese cheesecake with a little fruit on top and a purple lavender blueberry lemon cake that mainly tasted of sugar and cream cheese it was really good but not ten dollars good sorry, you can see the small cheesecake in the back, and a thai tea which was good but mostly ice and whipped cream like there were almost four inches of whipped cream on top of my large, it was gone fast and again like 5/6 bucks for that , made me very angry at myself for spending that amount of money on two slices of cake and a drink like i could get an entire decorated cake for that from uptown who makes really good cakes for that and eat cake all week, not going back because of the prices i literally can't afford too but if you have deep wallets and like this kinda stuff this is the place for you read more

One word for this place---EXPENSIVE, had a small slice of cake (passion fruit). Pretty much flavorless. Sorry,no return trip in the cards.

The large cups were like 22 dollars and for 3 it was like 65 dollars and the large cups weren't even large.

The strawberries with Dubai chocolate are phenomenal! I also tried the coffee roll, matcha roll, black sesame cheesecake, and brown sugar milk tea with boba. They made sure to incorporate all my requests in . And tada .. we had a very perfect birthday cake .
