    Pistachio cream and almond croissant
    Karene C.

This was my first visit to the bakery. I was pleasantly surprised to seat how many welcoming seats there were. The selection of pastries and coffee was impressive. I decided to get 2 sweet and 2 savory pastries. For sweet, I ordered the pistachio cream and almond croissant. Both were good. For savory, I ordered the rise and swine (with maple syrup and bacon) and the biscuity business (sausage gravy on a puff pastry). These 2 were beyond excellent. I will return for the savory options. I will mention that they do a surcharge if you use a credit card so recommend taking cash! The service was fast and friendly.

The pastries at this location was okay at best. All the pastries but one of them was dry as can be. It tasted like the batter was definitely over whipped during the prepping process. The three stars was the saving grace of that one pastry which was the apple filled one, and that was actually decent. If you had time, I would rather drive to the city and go to Harvey's or Tous Les Jours for way better pastries. But if you were in a hurry to go to work and didn't have time, then just try your luck here. The service was good. But for 2 pastries and 3 dinner rolls to come out to 25 dollars, just drive somewhere else. I know we are in Edmond, but for 25 dollars you can get more better ones at one of the other two locations I mentioned.

I adore this little French bakery and bistro. It's tucked away in a nondescript little shopping center, but don't let that fool you. It's well worth the visit. Every pastry I've tried has been wonderful but I can't get over the cruffin. It's a flaky cinnamon sugar pastry with a light crème filling. I tried the wild blueberry danish today and it was buttery and delicious. My husband gives high marks to the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, and I really enjoyed the jammon burre for lunch. The coffee is good and the ambiance is delightful.

Like most people in East Edmond I've been super excited for this place to open! Went in today and got about 1 of everything to try. The everything ham and cheese croissant was EVERYTHING! The croissant was crispy on the outside like it's supposed to be, slightly salty and pillowy and soft on the inside--utter perfection! I also grabbed a few other things to try because, why the heck not? Cheese danish--this was all the things and I will absolutely be back for another, and another, and another thankyouverymuch The cruffin--the texture of a croissant but also softer in the inside than a traditional croissant. The cinnamon and sugar was a nice complement and texture to the rest of the pastry. Although this wasn't my favorite thing, it was still far superior to anything else you can buy at a competitor bakery in the area. The chocolate croissant was exactly what you'd want in a chocolate croissant--if you're a chocolate lover, this will 100% satisfy! Lemon custard flower- this one was absolutely not what I expected but in a totally good way! The lemon was subtle and complimented the meringue topping perfectly! Sort of reminded me of a lemon meringue pie if the pie crust was a croissant and the lemon wasn't as pungent. It was really really good and would make an awesome surprise sweet treat for a special someone. Lastly--the almond croissant was BY FAR my favorite thing and pretty high up there in terms of favorite things I've ever eaten IN MY LIFE. Bravo CDLC you have left a lasting memory in my heart AND my tummy. I will for sure be back as much as I can and still manage to fit into my jeans just for this delicious morsel. All in all, this place is a treasure and I loved every ounce of it, from the spectacular service, the ambiance (it's adorable in there!!) and the food. Run--don't walk to this East Edmond

I noticed a lady sitting on the patio last time eating some beautiful fried chicken and I decided to inquire....."Hello, ma'am. Do you mind if I ask how the chicekn tastes?" She enthusiastically replied that she loves the chicken at Pub W and that is her go to for fried chicken. What an awesome recommendation. Incredibly flavorful, crispy and came with the perfect mashed potatoes and fresh green beans with roasted bell pepper. The service here is over the top friendly, conversational and a delight! We had the squashpuppies again and they were as awesome as last time. The waitress indicated that ceviche was the special that day and I regret not trying it. Next time!

We ended up getting 3 of the chicken meals, 3 sides of fruit, 2 sides of mashed potatoes and gravy and side of squashpuppies. I arrived for the curbside about 10 minutes early but before I could even check in, someone came out to acknowledge my presence and to let me know she'd be watching for the order to be ready. I know sometimes when you order chicken it takes a bit, so I was not worried about waiting. By the time my order was running maybe 5-10 minutes overdue, another employee came out to assure me they were working on the order. Again, no worries, it was kind of getting to be the busier time of evening, it was lovely out, I had no problem sitting and waiting. About 15 minutes after my "order time" the food came out and I headed home. Since the orders were each for 1/2 chicken, you get 4 big pieces of chicken, plus a nice side of pineapple and the mashed potatoes were decent size, maybe not enough gravy. I'll be honest I didn't pay much attention to the squashpuppies as they weren't mine and I don't like squash. I did take a teeny nibble from one and instantly said "nope" but really not fair for me to judge. The mashed potatoes ended up being very rich and overseasoned. I'm not sure if it was the gravy or the potatoes or both. I know they were going for decadent, but it clashed with the chicken which also had a lot of seasoning. We both didn't finish our potatoes and didn't bother saving them. The squashpuppies also were not a hit with the person ordering them. The chicken seemed a bit overcooked (the breading), but inside was nice and juicy. I saved the breast for later and it definitely seemed the most overcooked of the 4 pieces, but also I had reheated it a bit as a leftover, so probably unfair to judge. The food was good and for $20 each meal, it actually was not a bad price. The attention from the staff was nice as it's not uncommon for curbside pickup to be less easy these days, but it worked out and I appreciate them for that. I'd be curious to try something different next visit (I don't live in the area), but also liked the chicken enough I wouldn't mind having it again either.

I was craving poke today and remembered this place existed and decided to try it. It is an unassuming place with just a few tables and dim lighting. But, the lady who runs the place is super sweet and informative. I ordered a tuna and salmon poke bowl with pretty much everything on it and added seaweed salad and an extra scoop of tuna. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! In total, I think I paid around $21, but I got a traditional styrofoam Togo box full of food. Everything tasted so fresh! The fish wasn't fishy and tasted so good. I might have just found this place, but I'm gonna make up for lost time! I'm already craving it again lol If you like fresh poke and delicious Asian flavors, I fully recommend this place. We always leave happy, full, and we know another visit here is in our future. It's a mom-and-pop shop that's earned every bit of its loyal following--and they absolutely deserve your support. The vibe? Like family. We always dine in, and one of our favorite things is watching the owners greet regulars like old friends: "Hey, good to see you! How's your kid's soccer season going?" "We've missed you--haven't seen you in a while!" Or even, lol "See you next week!" It's that kind of place. And if you're grabbing takeout? They've got that down, too. I think more folks get to-go orders than dine in. They have a few modest tables and a small TV that plays something in the background. This place is the epitome of your favorite casual spot where you come back again and again and order your one favorite thing because it's just that good. Build your dream poke bowl. Whatever inspires you--go for it. In my humble opinion, this is still the best poke bowl in the OKC metro. We've tried others... but we always end up comparing them to this one. And honestly? Nothing beats it. So we stopped trying and just keep coming back here. I love to add the seaweed salad and all the sauces on mine. I go back and forth between 1/2 salad and rice or just rice as my poke base. The Salmon and tuna (along with all the other ingredients) always taste fresh. Come here.
