A beautiful place run by beautiful people! The owners are so kind! They create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Just minutes walking distance from High Park, you'll always find a new and unique treat waiting for you! Always vegan and made with love! It's why I will keep going out of my way to go there no matter the distance. Thank you for existing ~ They are very active on Instagram to see what they are making daily!

Found out about this place actually from an article I read in a magazine, highlighting the exceptional desserts here of the vegan variety. The friend I was with eats vegan-ish so I thought it would be an awesome place for us to go. The service was professional. They greeted us and answered all the questions we had. Their coffee was one of the best coffees I have had. Not many places can master the art of making me coffee- not sweet enough, too sweet, not enough oat milk, too much oat milk, only almond milk available... etc. This place, however not only made me an incredibly satifying coffee, they also allowed me to reuse a container I had brought in. Proper ice to coffee ratio, sweetened just right and absolutely delicious. I believe it was a medium roast. Because I am a sweets person, and they got raving reviews from that magazine, I decided to get a chocolate cake with a ganache over top. Not too sweet and exceptionally melt-in-your mouth. Delish! They made my drink so well, I had to go back on my way home to compliment them. I will definitely be back at some point soon.

Got into town for a work trip and Caked Coffee was my first stop on my vegan whirlwind tour of Toronto. Top notch soy latte, a to die for Biscoff cookie butter topped cinnamon roll. I wasn't expecting hot food, but ended up trying the marinated Chik'n quesadilla which was also very good. Chill vibes and the owner (I think) working the counter was a delight to talk to. Definitely worth a stop to satiate your sweet tooth!

What a cute and quiet place, currently seating 4 tables (of 2s). 100% vegan for those following said diet. Lots of croissants and they do pizza flatbreads as well! What's amazing is that all drinks are not charged, what an interested and formidable concept! Way to challenge the status quo in cafes! I came in just before noon on a Sunday and waited for friends. The gentleman organizing, baking, basically working was very kind and friendly. The display of goodies looked delish! I had a regular croissant made with vegan butter and definitely 'light' in flavour but still delicious! My friends had a blueberry cupcake and a strawberry cream croissant which looked sooo good! They enjoyed it a lot as well. I had the chai tea latte made with maple syrup, very different but still yummy and not so sweet :). Spotted were Earth's Own Barista Oat Milk used in place of regular milk. My friend had the coffee and he said it was good. I had asked the owner why he decided on this and he said that his previous job he made a lot of money but it was taxing on his health and family--all to buy a bigger house that was what society pushed for. He didn't want a bigger house, he just want to spend time with his family and be happy. Offering free coffee/tea was his reminder to himself that money isn't everything and would like to treat everyone that came into his shop to thank them for their patronage. He just wants to be another friendly neighbour and hope everyone is happy. There is only street parking or two blocks from Dundas West or Keele station on the south side. No wifi, the owner wants everyone to come in, with friends or without to relax and enjoy the food, company, music, atmosphere, etc... internet relates to work a lot which reminded his previous life, stressful times and he does not want this in his cafe. From what I was getting, he wants his cafe to be a mindfulness oasis for people to enjoy. Soon to come in warmer weather is a large patio which is very private. We are looking forward to it!

So much tea and matcha that you can grab to make drinks at home with as well. They also seem to brew fresh tea pots as well which is super cool. Team was very nice - kept the place very clean , including the bathrooms. - I think there could be a tad bit more lighting, but just a personal opinion. Hojicha latte was the perfect temperature for a cold day - and just the right amount of sweetness - Will drop by again in the future to explore the menu!

I have high hopes that the matcha here will be good since I always see this spot packed with people but was really disappointed when I tried their popular Strawberry Matcha Latte. It's incredibly frustrating to pay a premium price for a matcha latte only to end up with a dull, muted matcha flavour and overly milky drink. This is also one of those places that doesn't let you customize ice level so you're left with an over diluted drink that you can barely taste the matcha flavour. Their cakes aren't any better specifically the matcha roll cake. Tasted blah and has an underwhelming matcha filling. Yes the cake is soft but at the same time tasted gummy and has a dense texture which gives off a floury flavour. Unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude staff who leaves your takeout order on the counter without handing it over directly to you. Definitely will not return back to this place.

The owner recommended that I get the regular sugar level; his recommendation was correct. The customer service was courteous and fast (I was their only customer at the time). Sometimes they give out 2-for-1 drinks, and on weekends, they have a combo of Hi Yogurt drink and So Sweet dessert for $9.99. There are 3 tables and counter seating. The tables have electrical outlets beside them. There is wood paneling, giving it an Asian vibe. There is very quiet music playing in the background. The address implies the Chinatown Centre, but the entrance is off Spadina Ave, not inside the mall. There are 3 businesses inside the location. One of them is a Thai Spa. They have a massage chair inside the Hi Yogurt seating area so you can get a quick 5-min massage while waiting for your order! There is free WiFi. The store is not wheelchair accessible. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2024-137

It's the kind of place that makes you want to settle in, order slowly, and really enjoy the evening. We started with a few appetizers, and the beef tartare was one of my favorite dishes of the night.. beautifully balanced, well seasoned, and rich without feeling too heavy. The foie gras was also very nicely done, smooth and delicate, especially with the toasted bread and the sweetness from the preserve on the side. The risotto was creamy and comforting, with a deep savory flavor that felt very French in the most satisfying way. For the main, the duck dish was especially memorable.. rich, hearty, and full of depth, with the beans and sauce bringing everything together in a way that felt rustic but still refined. What I appreciated most was that nothing felt overly trendy or overcomplicated. The food felt grounded in classic bistro cooking, and that confidence came through in the experience. Overall, this is the kind of restaurant I'd come back to when I want a slower, more intimate dinner in the city. Warm atmosphere, thoughtful food, and the kind of place that leaves a very lasting impression.
