While waiting in the drive-through (which is located at the front of the building), I had my window down and witnessed what appeared to be the owner sitting outside and yelling at a younger employee. It was extremely uncomfortable to hear and honestly felt very unprofessional. I felt awful for the young girl no employee should be spoken to like that, especially in front of customers. If you go to DQ for a chicken strip basket, you're a fool. Marie's always has fantastic and fresh food. I never feel disappointed from anything I order! The fries are thin and crispy, the burgers are juicy & cheesy, the chicken strips are crispy and flavorful. Even the packaged ranch is one of the best I've ever tasted; I normally prefer house-made. They even have a drive thru, which is sometimes convenient, but I will say it usually takes 10+ minutes to receive the food. Certainly not a complaint by me, just an expectation to be ready for. Very disappointed as an 80 cake was left not eaten as our family dislikes spice cake I asked for a traditional tres leches cake not a spice cake. Cakes by Marise makes the best grapefruit marmalade ( Konfiti Ghadek) I have ever had in my life. It's not a traditional grapefruit marmalade , because she adds guava, pineapple, cherries and raisins, but that's what makes it oh so tasty and delicious. INCREDIBLY CONTENT AND SATISFIED. DEFINITELY GIVE THEM A TRY!!! This place had great service and highly recommend. I'm fairly new to Pueblo West and have honestly struggled to find REALLY GOOD food (Sorry PW). However, after driving by Marie's several times since being here, my husband and I decided to finally stop in. We were craving a really good burger and figured we would give it a try. Best decision ever!! Marie's honestly exceeded my expectations.... For starters, They have really friendly staff and a convenient drive thru. We each got a double cheeseburger basket and I upgraded mine to have the southwest fries and hubby got a banana milkshake. The shoestring fries were incredibly tasty, crisp and soft and not heavily salted. The burger came in a really soft brioche bun (they also offer gluten free I noticed), the patty was perfectly seasoned, moist and the thickness was just right. It did not appear to be a typical frozen round patty. It tasted super fresh and had a really nice sear/crust from the grill. It was ooey and gooey with cheese and all of the traditional fixings came on the side so that was nice. I didn't notice if they offered grilled onions or mushrooms but that would have been the "cherry on top". It was such a big burger that I should have gotten a single patty but oh man was it good. It did not come with any sauce or ketchup but they do ask you if you want any but we declined not knowing nothing came on the burger. However it did not need any condiments anyway because it was so cheesy and moist and the best part is I didn't get any grease drips. It was not a greasy burger. The southwest fries were topped with a really tasty green chili and cheese. Pretty solid green chili with nice chunks of super tender pork. My husband's shake was not overly sweet and tasted of vanilla ice cream and real banana. Last but not least, the basket meals came with a mini cupcake! Perfectly made BTW. It was so moist and spongey, chocolate flavored (my fave) with a small sweet dollop of frosting. It was so good and a nice treat you don't normally get anywhere else. Very disappointing. Seems like since the menu changed, the sloppers changed too. They are very skimpy on the green chilie, it's a shame because it's so good. But a slopper should be covered in green chilie. Now it's $30 for two open faced cheeseburgers​ with some chilie on it. read more

Don't let the name fool you!! They have a wonderful "fast food" menu! And the location ISN'T where the pin is dropped on the map... go east past the strip mall on McCullough. The shrimp basket is AWESOME!!! You can tell their fryer grease is kept fresh by how the shrimp tastes!! We had salads in place of the fries and it was much larger than a side salad. I went in yesterday for lunch with my 3 children and it took 20 minutes for our lunch to come out. I've eaten at Marie's several times and go at least once a week for a cupcake run, so I found this wait time to be a bit unusual as they are always very prompt. When our meal was ready, the manager brought it to us herself and apologized about the wait, offered no lame excuses (which I love BTW), told us they strive for a 10 minute serve time and gave us coupons for 2 meals on our next visit. Ordered a Birthday cake for my niece. I went to pick up the cake and was very happy with what was presented. The staff was helpful from the first time I called to pick up. My niece/family loved the cake it was beautiful. Once we cut into the cake it was a moist delicious chocolate cake with a raspberry cream filling, it was light not over powering.
