Our family has been a victim of PG&E's expensive and unethical practices for years, and the approach to this install was very important to us. Jason is a true master of his craft, bringing intelligence, creative insight, and remarkable integrity to every aspect of his work. He generously put up with my highly analytic and data driven approach to the install plan, sourced our Tesla batteries and panels at far, far below market value (beating out numerous competitors by a truly considerable margin), refused to charge more than his quote even when unexpected costs arose, and offered transparent, excellent planning and communication every step of the way. Jason and his installation team produced an aesthetically clean, 20 panel array befitting our historic home, integrated our new array with our existing one in a difficult and customized way requiring thousands of feet of wiring/conduit, and achieved a commercial grade, quality install of 2 Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries that have now fully liberated us from PG&E grid dependence. As Jason himself predicted, in just 2.5 weeks, our new system has exported 700 kwh to the grid, and imported 0 kwh. We are now fully in control of our power, and no longer at the mercy of PG&E, now, or in the future. Financially, this is utterly lifechanging for our family. So, for anyone considering Sunrun, or other companies, do not move forward until you have given Jason Batman and Power Pro's Electric and Solar a chance first. They will easily beat out competitor pricing by a large margin, and produce a system of truly remarkable craftsman quality. I cannot recommend Jason and his team highly enough, and our family owes Jason and his team a tremendous debt of gratitude.

Hello, I want to share my experience with Nova West Energy. While I was in the market to add a…read moresolar system to work alongside my existing one, I interviewed about seven different companies. I took my time researching, reading reviews, evaluating customer service, and even checking the Better Business Bureau. After all of that, I narrowed it down to two companies, Nova Energy and another local company in Fresno.Ultimately, I chose the other company because they hold a roofing license as well. This was very important to me due to a previous bad experience with SolarCity damaging my roof and not fixing it. I ended up fixing it out of pocket. That being said, Nova Energy truly stood out. Justin took the time to thoroughly educate me and presented a very well-designed system tailored to my needs. Honestly, I would have gone with them if it weren't for my prior experience and specific concerns. What impressed me most is that they genuinely care about their customers. Even knowing I was comparing multiple companies, they were patient, transparent, and focused on making sure I understood exactly what I needed for my home. Even after I told Justin I had decided to go with another company, he still took the time to make sure I was fully informed. He reviewed key details with me such as solar panel quality, system performance stats, degradation rates, and the difference between kW and kWh, just to ensure I was making the best decision for my home. That level of professionalism and integrity really stood out. In today's world, many companies treat business as just a transaction, sell a product and move on. Nova Energy is different. They take the time to understand your needs, educate you, and guide you without pressure. Their approach is honest, professional, and customer centered. Their pricing is very competitive, and they don't try to oversell. Instead, they explain your actual energy usage and make sure you don't overproduce unnecessarily. That level of integrity is rare. They also have excellent reviews, offer a strong 25-year roof warranty, and clearly stand behind their work. Even though they didn't end up installing my system, I believe my hesitation around roofing, despite them having a 25 roofing policy, was more related to my previous negative experience and my need for extra reassurance. If anything, if you are in the market for a solar system, I strongly recommend giving Justin a call. He is honest in his evaluation, does not try to oversell, and takes the time to answer every question you may have.

This was the only solar company that asked the right questions about my existing system to provide sound professional advice, instead of just trying to sell me something. The sales process was smooth and painless. The installers were top notch and willing to go above and beyond to make me (the client) happy. I spent a lot of time researching the different brand panels out there and Sun Power has by far one of the best products on the market. Once I decided what panels I wanted I searched for local solar companies around The Valley that were authorized resellers. I made some calls and got quotes from four different local solar companies. The owner of Pacific Solar and sales rep (Bam) came out to look at the home and talk to me about their company and installations. I met three of the four companies researched in person and the friendly attitudes of the Pacific Solar reps impressed me the most. We had 20 panels installed on our rooftop. The installation was clean and all cabling/conduit was ran through the interior crawl spaces. I have seen a lot of sloppy solar installs on neighbors rooftops and this is by far one of the cleanest installations on the block. The inverter was mounted inside on the garage and not on the exterior of the home. The whole process from start to finish was fast. We signed in June, panels were installed on Friday August 2nd, the City of Clovis came out to inspect that following Monday, and PG&E swapped out the meter August 12th! I love coming home from work and looking at the PG&E meter as it displays "Received", meaning I am sending power to them and not the other way around. I referred a co-worker to Pacific Solar and recommended he shop around as I did before signing. Long story short his experience was similar to mine, he just signed on a 24 panel system. To anyone seriously looking into a solar purchase or lease I highly recommend at the least getting a quote from these guys, you will not be disappointed.

At the time, my uncle said that someone "just went up on the roof and installed panels and it was all free." My uncle is a widowed Vietnam Vet who is 100% disabled. At the time of this sale, he was 80 years old and living alone with dementia. The panels are not working and have been reported to Empower, the installer, EverBright, the leasing company, and Omedian, the company that services the panels. The PG&E bill has never reflected a reduction in monthly cost for the solar. My uncle is now in a memory care facility and our family is committed to a $212.56 monthly payment to Everbright Solar for 25 years. My uncle never would have agreed to this purchase had he fully understood the financial obligation. At his age, he would never financially benefit from such a purchase. Empower took advantage of my elderly uncle and abused, misrepresented and fraudulently convinced him to DocuSign a contract in which he did not fully understand.

When I called mySolarEdge to ask why I did not get consistent notifications, they said it was because the installer, Solar Negotiators, had put themselves as the "owner admin" and receive the notifications. They also informed me that these notifications are free as they are part of the app. I called Solar negotiators back and I was informed that they do get notifications from mySolarEdge. They initially stated that it was my responsibility to inform them of when my solar panels are not working so that they can repair it. However, when I reminded them that I do not even get notifications from my app because they are the owner admin, they admitted that they do receive notifications for my system and that they would normally catch it and reach out to me to repair it. They also stated that they have been busy over the Spring and therefore had not been able to address the issue in a timely manner. They advised me to send them a tru-up bill in order to receive reimbursement. I reached out to a representative on June 4th and provided them with my tru-up bill. However, they would not provide me with any updates or status changes unless I prompted them with emails. Finally, after my fifth prompt, I received an email from a customer representative informing me that I was responsible for notifying them of any loss of power and they would not be able to reimburse me at this time. This is completely different than what I was told on the phone previously. I believe this company was using misinformation and delayed responses in order to not address my issue. In addition, I was never informed that they had control over my account, which I believe is a tactic to force me to either consider paying an additional cost for their monitoring app, "Know Tru-up", or risk not get reimbursed when my system loses power without my knowledge. Edit: Cindy, the Chief Administrative Officer, did reach out to me and was very pleasant in trying to help me. She reached out to Solaredge and was also informed by them that Solar Negotiators did have full administrative access and that they could grant it to me. She attempted to work with making that change but nothing has occurred in the past two weeks. My review still stands but I do appreciate leadership taking accountability and trying to remedy the situation.

We went from $180-$200 PGE bills to $650, so we decided to look into getting solar panels. We did a lot of research and had a few solar companies come and give us estimates. We had quite a few questions to ask, and Marilyn was the one who was so patient and answered all our questions, especially the financial ones. In the end, Planet Solar had the best offer with warranty and pricing, on top of the knowledge Marilyn shared with us too. So we decided to go with Planet Solar. Marilyn suggested we have 25 solar panels, but we asked for 3 more panels just in case because we heard a lot of horrifying "True-up" stories. Signing the paperwork to complete the entire process was easy and smooth. It took about a month and a half, I believe. We had some hiccups with the county of Fresno regarding the house (not ours or Planet Solar's fault), but everything was solved after a week or so. We had to wait for a few days for PGE to do the inspection and turn on the line too. The actual installation only took 2 days, and we really like the fact that on the roof, there are no wires exposed, they did such clean work. Once the panels were up and running, she even called me to check if everything was going okay. Since we had the solar panels, I haven't had any "True-up" bills, only credit from PGE. I will use Planet Solar again if I need to add more panels. Their customer service is exceptional, and I would recommend them to everyone who is interested in getting solar panels.

Until mid-2022, PS attempted to maintain the system's electrical production, except for identifying major warranted system component failures, then to now, by using daily data produced/provided to PS by the production system (which, we believe, is currently working). Comparing production periods (no data is available for 2014-2016 due to inverter failure; also, in 2017, 9.6 MWh was reported as produced): the 4-year production, 2022 -2025 to 2018-2021 was 49% (of the earlier period). From 12/4/2016 to 12/31/2025, roughly 108 months, no production occurred on 556 days, more than 18 months, or ~17% of the time. From July 2022 to February 2024, 20 months, including summer months, there was no recorded production. From June 26, 2025 -November 24, 2025, and from January 20, 2026 to today, May 21, 2026, no production has been recorded; however, we believe that production has been achieved in more recent months. At this time, our economic benefits, if any, from installing and maintaining our PS solar system remain unclear and highly uncertain. FYI
