The installation team worked diligently in the attic, widening the main vent and installing fire alarms and a new thermostat. They also installed new rain gutters. The entire project, which started on June 9th and was completed by noon on June 11th, took just two and a half days. Throughout the process, I was consistently impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of everyone involved, including the repair lead Moises-Moy, and Miguel , Rob and David, Francisco with HVAC install, Alex, and Juan who replaced the rain gutter system. Unfortunately, I had never heard of this "5-star" company until one of their employees rudely harassed my boyfriend and nearly hit him with his car. Instead of apologizing, the employee acted entitled, approached our car aggressively, and continued to argue with my boyfriend.This is not how any employer should allow their employees to behave, especially in public when representing the company. I had your so-called EXPERTS come out to replace a $25 capacitor, which somehow cost $500. When I asked them to replace the secondary capacitor at the same price, they suddenly "couldn't find one" in their truck. After stepping inside to let them work, one of the techs left a panel open with live current exposed on my functioning unit. This caused the fan to malfunction--at which point the senior tech tried to convince me I needed an entirely new unit, even though that system wasn't giving me any issues beforehand. Once I pointed out the actual cause, he quickly fixed it and offered to knock off $100 if I left a good review. That tells you everything you need to know. Whether it's incompetence or outright dishonesty, your team either doesn't know what they're doing or they're scamming hard-working Valley residents. If you need AC service, I highly recommend calling literally anyone else--even someone from the Home Depot parking lot would do a better job than these clowns. read more

I rent a room in a house that needed a new roof. The owner liked the price and agreed to their service. The first group set up the areas where they would remove the current roof tiles and throw them into a dumpster. They made sure we knew where we should enter and exit the house. They removed a skylight on the second floor. After they removed the tiles, they hauled everything away and the second group installed the roof carefully. They were always respectful and friendly. It rained a few days later and there were no leaks. Everything still seems good. read more

Overall, having them out to look at my AC was a waste of my time and money. Their communication through Yelp and then via text was great. The repairmen were also very polite. Also, $99 for a diagnostic service, including "repair options" and a "diagnosis report" seemed quite reasonable, and my thermostat had been showing error codes regarding an outside sensor, so I had them come out for a diagnosis. In the end, they really just accomplished nothing. They didn't know where the outside sensors were or even that there were any. They thought it must be a wifi issue, but my thermostat has no wifi capabilities. They eventually blamed a dirty filter and the fact that the thermostat is in the main bedroom. They gave me a quote to move the thermostat into the hallway for $750. Not seeing any logic to their findings, I obviously declined. They said they'd hose down the unit's coils. They didn't. They measured the air temp and let me know it was cold, which I could clearly ascertain on my own. I asked them if they checked the error code history on the thermostat. They didn't. So the net end result and benefit to me is that they changed my filter (using my stepladder and a filter I gave them) for $99. I have a feeling that they are quite adept at basic maintenance, but rather than admitting that this issue was outside of their expertise, they found other "issues" to explain the problem. I will look for someone else. The day after posting this review, they refunded my money. read more

I'm only giving Grandmark Services two stars because of the workmen. The main problem is lack of communication. I got an estimate and they were reasonably priced. I was only getting a roof repair. I got four estimates and all ranged between $ 2600.00-$3900.00. Grandmark was in the lower end but also said there might be additional charges once the shingles were removed. That's exactly what happened-$650.00 was added for three pieces of plywood. What could I do? The shingles were already removed. But, that's not the problem. This happens. It shouldn't but it does. I factored labor in with the supplies and sucked it up. The overall problem was lack of communication within the organization. When the estimator comes, he wants a sale, and as a customer, we have to trust his expertise. In Grandmark's case, the estimator and I made an agreement. Then the management got involved and ultimately, the workers get orders to perform specific work on the job. In my case, there were great discrepancies in what the workers were told to do and my initial understanding with the estimation. It resulted in unnecessary and a very unpleasant experience overall. It's a big company, with a huge contract ( which states the customer is liable for court fees, if needed), which should have been a red flag. All ended after three days and they came back to make it right but it involved a long strand of emails and communication with the management which is never fun. Their initial walkthrough for the quote included photos and videos explaining what they were seeing and what the proposed work should be based on that, which they emailed me same day a link to view/download the photos/videos. The quote they provided beat everyone else around. Their employees were always on time, if not 30-45 minutes early some days. They always checked in to make sure my dog was inside before coming onto the property. The finished roofs passed inspection and the invoice cost stayed the same as the quote. I had roof installed in October 2024, paid in full after it was completed, also in October 2024, and then certified letters started coming from Pacific Coast Supply about Grandmark owing them for the materials. They have a mechanical lien placed on my property! I provided several proofs that I paid, and, for some reason, it hasn't been removed. I think the management are all crooks. Our unit blew out in the middle of a triple digit streak the Thursday afternoon before a 3 day holiday weekend. Being that I have young children, I was extremely concerned about getting this job done asap. All the companies I called could not book me until after the holiday weekend even though I pleaded with them. Grandmark sent their people out after 5pm to assess my system and told me the problem after doing several test. They gave me some options, and not only gave me the weekend to decide on the direction I wanted to go, but also set up some portable a/c window units in my house so that we could be comfortable for the weekend. I felt so heard, respected and cared for. When I agreed to move forward on this job, I was given options, educated on my choices and provided speedy repair. When I say speeding repair, I mean though the unit I wanted was not available in Fresno, they sent a team to go pick up the only one left in stock out in Sacramento so my installation would not be stalled! The other reason this company has received a 5 star rating from me is because of the level of respect they showed my home. I am not a fan of having teams of workers in my home while I'm living in it, but unfortunately life happens. Seeing the careful way they protected my floors and furniture was a big plus for me. I called them to fix my AC. They scheduled for a time window between 1PM to 3PM. The repairman came in, after several calls, at 2:45PM. He worked on it until 4PM. I told him I had to leave the house to pick up my kid. He said "give me more 10 minutes. I agreed. After he finished, I asked him to explain the problem. He said nothing to me and told me that he would call and give me an estimation. They never called but sent me an invoice charging me of $79 for diagnosis! They never made a diagnosis; they never called me to explain but charged me for it. After calling them, they said they would explain my issue and whatever they said about my AC was the repairman guesses! He was never certain about the main issue, and in the invoice he put the blame on me for his uncertainty. He claimed that I had been in rush to leave the house and he couldn't finish his job. Very unprofessional. I paid the invoice but I am extremely unhappy with their service. read more

I really liked the work they did. I didn't get a deal by any means so I paid a price, but things aren't as they used to be. This project went really smoothly, they are timely and careful. I was updated regularly and they worked with my solar company after the job to make sure that the roof didn't leak after the panel footing were installed. They were polite and they did a great job. In the middle of a heatwave, right after my warranty expired, my air conditioning went out at 105° weather. I submitted a request through yelp to find a service, and two people started to schedule me and then told me I was out of their service area. Grandmark responded within about 20 minutes, let me know the cost for a diagnostic and that I was in their service area. I asked to have the next earliest appointment around 6 PM on Monday, and they were at my house by 10:30 the next morning. Great service, excellent communication with their automated system, and fixed the problem very quickly. You get what you pay for, and I am very happy with the quick service, the thoroughness and explaining why my air conditioner had gone out, and how they were able to fix everything and helped me get back to not melting anymore. We had a Blower motor go out in one of our two HVAC systems. I called Grandmark and they were out the next morning. Our system was 27 years old and Carlos gave us a quote for a repair and a replacement. The Ac that was out was in my elderly fathers room. They brought out a portable AC to keep him comfortable while the repairs were being completed. We decided to replace both HVAC systems. They drove to Sacramento to pick up the unit. They did a great job replacing both systems. They improved duct in a couple of room and cleaned up after they finished. They told us ware part of their family and if we need anything, just call and they will be right out. They worked late on a Friday to finish. Can't say enough about the entire crew. During the recent Atmospheric River Storm, my roof suffered several leaks. Most roofers I called were not taking any calls and would not even do an estimate because of the High volume of leaky roofs. Fortunately, GrandMark responded, I got a timely evaluation and assessment and a reasonably fast repair. Their estimator, and roofing repairmen were extremely competent and quickly repaired the roof.
