No one was there. No sign. No instructions. No communication. We walked the airport asking staff and drivers using the company names we were given and no one recognized them. The "emergency" phone number provided was useless. No one answered. The hotel tried to help and eventually told us to take a taxi. We only found our shuttle because a random tour guide took pity on us and located it on the opposite side of the airport with no signage. Only then did we learn the shuttle company was Mapa a name never disclosed to us. At the hotel, we discovered our reservation was under another completely different company name ("Rida"). None of this was communicated in advance. All bookings were placed under my name alone, even though all four travelers paid separately. Because of this incompetence, we spent the entire trip anxious that our prepaid tours and even our return airport transfer might not happen. This level of disorganization is unacceptable, especially for international travel and late-night arrivals. Dubai itself was amazing, but this company turned the start of our trip into a confusing and unsafe situation. I strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

My mom wanted to travel through South America, down to Argentina and then hop on a cruise to Antarctica. I've always seen deals for cruises to Antarctica from Argentina. So I had her call Albert for some advice on this type of journey. To my surprise, my mom had a terrible phone conversation with Albert. Not only was Albert rude to her, he criticized her for supposedly confusing him with her questions. The most shocking part was when he questioned why she would travel to Antarctica and that it was super hot! Um, really? I have no idea why he would think Antarctica is hot. Last I checked, it's -24 degrees Fahrenheit down there! And this was just the tip of the iceberg (pun intended). He then proceeded to tell her that he was really busy and that she was wasting his time. Told her to just go to his office instead. I understand if she's not a customer and just a random caller with questions. However, she was a referral from a customer. Even if she was just a random caller, why be rude to the person? The whole "Antarctica is super hot" comment was just perplexing. A travel agent made this comment...a travel agent. And to make her feel stupid for asking about cruises to Antarctica was unnecessary considering these cruises DO exist. The poor treatment of a referral from a regular customer was very disappointing. Needless to say, I'll be searching for a new travel agency.
