Had my 2018 Tesla Model S rear wheel done here for curb rash repair. They were fast and repair was fine. My issue was with the color matching and pain over spray. They could not match the wheel color of my Tesla (Shadow grey?) color. It's really noticeable that the paint does not match even over a year of it being painted. They all used cards to mask off the wheel and tire but got some over spray from the paint/clear I saw a bit on my fenders. Not sure why they wouldn't just take the wheel off. Overall, I don't think I would go back unless they assured that they had the right wheel color paint and did a better job masking off that side of the car or removing the wheel. read more

I came across Cal Wheel Works when looking for a rim resurfacing shop that could resurface 3/4 rims on my Honda which I was about to turn back in since my lease was up. Cal Wheel Works stood out to me for their high rating and multiple positive reviews. I requested a quote on Yelp for Cal Wheel Works as well as a few other comparable shops and Cory from Cal Wheel Works responded with the most reasonable quote by far within 24hrs of making my request. I made an appointment with Cory right away! He was flexible with drop off and pick up timing and was communicative with me via text to confirm my appointment and to let me know when my car was done too. If I need rims resurfaced again, I'd certainly reach back out to Cory from Cal Wheel Works! The curb rash on all 3 rims is completely gone and only if I stare at the rims really closely can I tell where they were resurfaced. However, I got my Honda inspected prior to turning it in and the inspector didn't notice or say anything about the rims!
