I needed curb rash on two of my wheels fixed. I got a handful of estimates and Cori was the most reasonable. Let me just say that I'm very picky and don't just throw out five star reviews. Cori's work is immaculate! Not only did he fixed my curb rash but fixed work done before on one of the wheels. Plus, he wet sanded and buffed a scratch on the car. And, he is a very nice guy to boot. I had an accident as an out-of-control curb hit 2 of my new Tesla Model Y wheels and fled the scene. I looked at Yelp and called 3-4 businesses. When I called Cal Wheel, I could notice I was speaking with the owner, which makes a huge difference. Cory was courteous and objectively gave me peace of mind, that my wheels would look as good as new. And also that came with a very good price, when compared to others. Professionalism: 5/5 Service/Skill: 5/5 I was returning a lease end. After personal attempts of self repair, I decided to seek professional help. Lowest quote (comparing other store almost charge me a double,) fastest service, very straight forward to text with Cory and ask questions, make appointment. I dropped off my car around 8:30 am and Cory called me around 10 am says the car is ready. Perfect. First of all... I don't want any crap from any of you for needing this service.... You try parallel parking with a beer in one hand and your phone in the other, it's not easy. Now that I actually say it, it might have been slightly poor judgement. Fast forward, costly rims got some nasty curb rash (yes, I put expensive wheels on my car... I grew up in LA, it's in my blood) What does one do?? Do you ask the google machine? Do you try to find a yellow pages? Do you visit a palm reader? None of the above, I jumped on my trusty yelp app and found Cory (thank God I decided this was the year to trade in my motorola flip phone and get a smart phone). I'll attach pics later, but I just got my car back and was super excited to sing Cory's praises. You call a number, which happens to be his cell phone. He schedules a very reasonable drop off time. You leave the car there and the magical sorcerer does some mad witchcraft. Every single thing about this was just amazing.... Cory is easy to work with, incredibly pleasant AND does a phenomenal job. Yelp really has to give us the option of a once in a lifetime type situation where you can give 10 stars, because Cory mos def deserves it. And there's just something really satisfying about supporting a young dude in the area who is so incredibly passionate about what he does. I discovered after months of my car sitting that my front passenger rim had curb rash either from when my car was towed or from a service department (lesson learned, ALWAYS inspect your vehicle before and after and take photos). I immediately started researching reviews on Yelp. After receiving estimates and reviewing before and after images, I decided to go with Cal Wheel Technology. I dropped my car off to Cory and around 45 minutes later my car was ready for pick up! I came across Cal Wheel Works when looking for a rim resurfacing shop that could resurface 3/4 rims on my Honda which I was about to turn back in since my lease was up. Cal Wheel Works stood out to me for their high rating and multiple positive reviews. I requested a quote on Yelp for Cal Wheel Works as well as a few other comparable shops and Cory from Cal Wheel Works responded with the most reasonable quote by far within 24hrs of making my request. I made an appointment with Cory right away! He was flexible with drop off and pick up timing and was communicative with me via text to confirm my appointment and to let me know when my car was done too. If I need rims resurfaced again, I'd certainly reach back out to Cory from Cal Wheel Works! The curb rash on all 3 rims is completely gone and only if I stare at the rims really closely can I tell where they were resurfaced. However, I got my Honda inspected prior to turning it in and the inspector didn't notice or say anything about the rims! A driver backed into me in a parking lot. It could have been much worse, but nevertheless I had a minor scratch to my wheel. Ok, minor but a major blow to my OCD tendencies. A local auto collision shop advised me that a perfect restoration was unlikely, because the wheel is a special edition and fixing the scratch would mean messing up engraving on the wheel (Ray's Engineering for 30th anniversary Miata). Thankfully, another owner of the same car referred me to Cory, who worked his magic and fixed my wheel as good as new, for a very reasonable price, much less than what the other collision shop quoted. read more

I was in a time crunch to have 2 of my rims repaired on my Range Rover evoque. I explained the situation to Cory who said he he would do his best to get it done at my requested date. Cory was great! He was very helpful and able to schedule me in a short notice. I had my car for about a week and scratched my rims on a curved curb. I normally wouldnt care too much for scratched rims since it is something that just happens but since the rim was so new, I decided to clean it up. I was referred to Cal Wheel Technology by a friend and I am glad she did. I scuffed up the rims on my Tesla, gave Cory a call and he was able to get them fixed the next day. Turnaround time was quick, (~45 min) and there's several bars and restaurants a couple blocks away. Stellar service, quick response time and he was very personable and communicative during the entire process. My rims look like they're new. read more

I can't recommend Cory enough. Purchased a set of damaged BBS race wheels. Afterwards I contacted him about a possible repair. He got back to me very quickly and explained his process quite thoroughly. He assured me that he would use the method I requested (paint) and gave a quick turn around time. I made an afternoon appointment and arrived 15 minutes early. I was frustrated -- I had just driven 25 miles (about 30 minutes) specifically for this appointment. If a scheduled service can't be honored, customers should be notified before they make the trip. What made it worse was the complete lack of concern or effort to help resolve the situation. I walked out fully intending to call corporate and leave a negative review -- but then something changed. Another employee, Brandon Pascacio, noticed what happened and literally came after me in the parking lot to ask how he could help. I explained that I simply needed the alignment I had scheduled. Brandon asked me to come back inside and assured me they would take care of it. Because of Brandon's professionalism and customer service, Wheel Works ended up earning nearly $1,000 in business from me, including an alignment-for-life package, new tires, and additional repairs. He completely turned the experience around and is the reason this review isn't one star. From my understanding, the employee who initially turned me away was the manager or acting manager. If that's the case, Wheel Works seriously needs to reevaluate who is leading this location. Poor customer service and dismissive attitudes are exactly why businesses lose customers and damage their reputation. Brandon, on the other hand, is the kind of employee who builds loyalty and keeps customers coming back. The only reason this review is four stars instead of one or two is because Brandon stepped in and completely changed the experience. With my last visit Dan installed a bolt-on catback exhuast that I was having trouble with since the cat was modified and I couldn't get a socket around the shallow bolt heads due to a weld around the pipe blocking it. Fearing this would take me days to work on, I decided to leave it to the pros. Dan made quick work of getting the old bolts off and replacing them with larger head bolts, it looks so clean now.

They communicate efficiently and provide no more service than what is needed. In fact, I had the MAZDA dealership suggest thousands of dollars of work that was completely unnecessary.

Personally, I hate taking my car places because, unfortunately, females get taken advantage of. All their reviews were so great! I called and they were able to get me in the next day. I was able to drop my car off in the morning and pick it up after work. I asked what kind of oil and immediately was told not the cheap stuff for your BMW- I said good, you passed the test and we laughed. They were awesome. I have since taken my car back to replace my battery and get my engine bay cleaned. Battery is easy I know, but my car is special and I didn't want to deal with it. I was met again with exceptional service- going above and beyond! They respond quickly, provide great service and even throw in some jokes! These guys are seriously so kind (and funny). If you need to have work done in your car, take it to them! They gave me a great deal and took such good care of my car! Thank you!
