After many years of teasing my wife about the curb rash on her wheels it finally happened to me and "the curb hit my wheels." I didn't have high hopes that this could be repaired and even considered upgrading my wheels before my friends noticed this rookie move. I took it to Cory and his shop did an amazing job. I was going to take an "after" picture cropped in on the repair but I honestly couldn't find the spot even in the bright sun. The service was friendly and the work was done while I waited. They power washed the wheel and the price was very reasonable as well. I don't write many Yelp reviews but this definitely deserves 5 stars. read more

Corey has once again proven his expertise. I had a brain fart while backing up my Tesla Model 3 Performance and ended up with a long gash on the wheel. I promptly reached out to Corey and sent him a picture of the damage. He responded without hesitation, assuring me that it wouldn't be a problem. Don't waste your time going anywhere else to get your damaged curbed wheels fixed! I called on a Friday to book an appointment and I was scheduled for the following Monday. Brought my car in at 9am to get 3 wheels repaired and my car was ready to be picked up by 11am. Cory was very responsive to my messages and gave me a quote over the phone after seeing the pictures of the damaged wheels. His staff was friendly, professional and made sure my car was addressed as soon as I pulled up. I will definitely be having these guys saved on my phone. My Tesla Y could wheel rims had curb rash. Cal wheel had great review on Yelp and checked them out - this review is tad late, this was back in 2021..and is probably time to visit for new curb rash ‍. Did a thorough job of buffing, repainting to look like new- couple were deep rash, which I think I wouldn't have been to fix using any self fix choices. I would give more stars if I could. Cory and Jose at Cal Wheel Technology are top tier. Jose repaired my wheel in under 2-3 hours and I could not tell where the wheel was damaged in the first place! Review is long overdue. Trusted this team to powder coat the wheels of my BRAND NEW 911. I asked them to match the center logo color satin black and they delivered! I even came back when I replaced one of the wheels after running over a long nail which punctured the sidewall. So I had to get the new one redone and they were able to match the rest of the set again! No funny business, just straight professionals and treated my car with respect. This review is long overdue. Unfortunately, my experience with Cal Wheel was disappointing. It took a very long time to get my rim repaired, and I was told there was an issue with my tire but that it should be fine to drive. While crossing the San Mateo Bridge, the tire blew, and the rim had to be repaired again. I do appreciate that they fixed it a second time for free, but I also noticed black paint on my red calipers after they repainted the rims. This whole experience ended up being a drain on my time and resources--it cost me significantly more than originally quoted due to all the issues. Overall, I wouldn't return, and I've since found other mobile shops that offer faster, higher-quality service. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but the service at CWT was outstanding. My Tesla rims were chewed up, one with a deep indentation. Cory gave me a quote over the phone and stuck to it even when it appeared the rim with the indentation would require significantly more work. The only day I could bring it in was that day and Cory went out of his way to arrange for Jose to do the repair that afternoon. Jose was very friendly and did an outstanding job. He obviously takes great pride in his craftsmanship and he made the rims look like new. I will go back to CWT after I inevitably accumulate more road rash on my Tesla rims. read more

I couldn't be happier with the work Cal Wheel Technology did on my wheels on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma. I had them powder coated and the results absolutely blew me away. The wheels look incredible and honestly brand new. The quality and attention to detail really stand out, and the entire experience was smooth and professional. When you've experienced that soul crushing scraping sound of curb rashing that back passenger rim.. what you really want to do is trade the car in for a new one but what most of us do is just live with the unsightly mess. Not a fan of their work here. I brought in 2 wheels to be repaired: one from my car and one from my wife's car. The one on my car had slight curb rash in one area. After they repaired it, you can see the area where the curb rash was so it appears that the shop cut it and refinished the one area only instead of the entire face of the rim. The one on my wife's car had fairly significant damage from curb rash as well. I sent a photo asking if they can fix it, they said they could. Granted the finished product looks a lot better than it did, however, you can totally see where the damage was. If this were the case, I would have preferred if they just told me they can make it look better but it will not be the same in which case I wouldn't have repaired it and would have opted to go replace the rim instead. Previous shops I have been to get curb rash fixed, you cannot tell it was ever damaged before. With Cal Wheel Technology, the 2 rims I brought in you can tell for both. I am now replacing both rims so the time, effort, and money spent to get the rims repaired was a waste. read more

He's super nice welcoming and personable the service was extremely fast and efficient and the whole time I was waiting he chopped it up with me gave a little more insight on his own personal history and life and it was extremely insightful and entertaining. And for the $600 I would expect the job to be professional, but he used T-taps and cheap crimp connectors, not even butt connectors as most decent car audio shops would. He installed the system wrong and I had to back to have it fixed. He then tried charging me more money to fix his poor job. I would steer clear from this shop, or if you have him touch your car please take photos of his work in case your car has an electrical fire, you can hopefully sue the shop.

Important to note that they took my car in and completed the battery replacement and coding the same day I called even though they were completely swamped. :) At times, they are delayed in responding but for the amount of cars they take in and the work they do, it's normal for any mechanic. They answer every dumb question I have and provided recommendations for my car as well. Next up for me is to replace the rod bearings. Josh was running a special when he first gave me the quote (around a month ago) but he's still going to honor the price. Will definitely continue to support Josh, JR and team! With my last visit Dan installed a bolt-on catback exhuast that I was having trouble with since the cat was modified and I couldn't get a socket around the shallow bolt heads due to a weld around the pipe blocking it. Fearing this would take me days to work on, I decided to leave it to the pros. Dan made quick work of getting the old bolts off and replacing them with larger head bolts, it looks so clean now.

I was able to drop my car off in the morning and pick it up after work. I asked what kind of oil and immediately was told not the cheap stuff for your BMW- I said good, you passed the test and we laughed. They were awesome. I have since taken my car back to replace my battery and get my engine bay cleaned. Battery is easy I know, but my car is special and I didn't want to deal with it. I was met again with exceptional service- going above and beyond! They respond quickly, provide great service and even throw in some jokes! These guys are seriously so kind (and funny).
