4.5 stars overall. Cala Lily Restaurant and Bar serves foods such as soups, salads, salmon, pork chop, and filet mignon. Compared to a regular dinner menu, an "early dinner" menu offers a slightly smaller selection of foods for slightly smaller serving sizes and prices. Please see my attached photos for the food and alcohol menus in April 2024. I made a reservation for my husband and me for the opening time. A seating hostess immediately said hello and seated us at a small table. Soon our waitress Amanda introduced herself. Throughout our meal, her service was timely and courteous. Here are my husband's and my reviews for our foods: Bread - 5 stars - These bread rolls were fresh and warm and had a crispy outside and moist inside. Lobster ravioli - 4.5 stars - This appetizer consisted of two large raviolis that were filled with lobster meat and topped with a flavorful sauce and nuts. Calamari rings - 4 stars - These calamari rings were fried and looked as large as onion rings. On the side was a tasty cocktail sauce. Maryland-style crab patties - 4.5 stars - This entree consisted of two large crab cakes that were meaty and on top of much sauce. On the side were fresh green beans, carrots, and scalloped potatoes that tasted very good. Maine lobster and crab bisque - 5 stars - I really enjoyed this cup of soup. Chicken-noodle soup - 4 stars - My husband ate half of this cup of soup, and he said that it tasted good but typical. Cajun gulf shrimp and filet mignon tips - 4.5 stars - Perfectly cooked linguini was topped with shrimp and filet mignon tips. My husband ate this entree, and he said that he enjoyed all of it except for the peppers. On the side were green beans and carrots. Tips: As of the time of my review, this restaurant is open only for dinner. The space is somewhat small, so the restaurant recommends reservations. The dress code appears to be casual. I wore a blouse with jeans and ballet flats.

Ok ... Updating my review ... I've looked over some of the other reviews and even my last review (3 Stars). I think part of the problem with a restaurant on the upper scale of pricing, if everything isn't absolutely perfect your getting slammed with a bad review. So, let's forget about the price for a moment. The food and service on this trip were exceptional! The food was only out-shined by the service from Joyce. For the appetizer we had Chicken Quesadillas (maybe the best I ever tasted). Also, had Lobster Bisque soup (good) We had the Lobster Ravioli which was excellent with plenty of flavor and LOTS of seafood! We had the Porkchop(Cajun style) good and spicy. We had the Crabcakes, they were really good with a nice sauce. We tried (2)two deserts both were "Knock-your-socks off" good. Cala-Lily (traditional) Cala-Lily ( some type of Peanut butter) Ok ... Again, having VERY HIGH prices is like working with the bomb squad... One mistake and you get blown-up. Well... no mistakes on this trip! Keep up the good work guys!

Living in Hampton for 25 years and never been ( we work evenings). Went Friday night for our Anniversary Dinner. So good! Ordered both seafood specials. Very well cooked. I just wish we had a choice of starch as a side. The sauce would have been great with rice!

Such a great place! This cozy spot is a great place to go for fabulous food. Tables are situated around the bar in the restaurant. The service was good and there were several specials available. Three of us chose to select regular menu items and one went with a special. The lobster ravioli was served with perfectly prepared seafood and topped with pine nuts. It was flavorful and definitely did not disappoint. The chicken piccata was done perfectly and the sauce was spot on. The Cajun pork chop was flavorful and the banana peppers were the perfect complement. The Jack Daniels pork chop was the only thing we likely wouldn't reorder - truly because there are so many great menu options. The wine list provided a few nice options without breaking the bank. The real star here is the food. Definitely delicious!

The restaurant is very small and was very crowded on a Friday evening. Make reservations ahead of time. Our server was very sweet and gave us good recommendations! We ordered the hoelzel as an appetizer. It was okay. It had a lot of crab meat, however we weren't expecting it to be cold. I ordered the lobster ravioli and my husband ordered the Cajun filet mignon & gulf shrimp over linguine. Food was pretty good, came with a lot of meat! However, I only got 3 pieces of ravioli and ended up taking some of my husbands pasta. Just a little overpriced in my opinion.

Their lent menu is a little more trimmed down than their regular food truck menu I have seen before. I got the fish sandwich, hush puppies, and a large side of lobster mac and cheese. It was a little pricey, $31. The lobster mac and cheese was as much as the sandwich for a container the size of a to-go soup bowl which seemed like a little much. There weren't that many lobster pieces for the price, like 3 or 4 decent-sized chunks, and the mac and cheese itself was pretty bland. The fish sandwich was the best part but I still wasn't wow-ed; I was also charged $1 for one slice of american cheese. I'm fine with paying extra for things, that just seemed excessive. The hush puppies and fries were clearly just frozen, and the fries were cold. For the price, I wouldn't come back here during lent but may visit the food truck at a different time to see the bigger menu.

The slaw was good too, but overall I'm just not that big of a fan of slaw. The fish and chips came with 4 decently sized pieces of haddock and a bunch of fries. Honestly, this could be a meal for 2 people if you're not extremely hungry. It was kind of expensive, but worth it in my opinion due to the quality and the amount of food. I would go again. I'm interested in trying their lobster rolls after lent is over!

Everyone was satisfied about the meal. It was quite pricey, which was expected when we walked in because of the ambiance. So why only 3 stars? I live in Las Vegas and my guy lives in this area (long distance). Well, we were with friends that my guy hadn't spent time with in a while, and this was my first time meeting them. Nice double date! 3 out of 4 of us got multiple drinks and we were enjoying our dinner. We got dessert too. The manager checked on us once. We probably stayed about 20ish minutes after desert while talking and finishing drinks. We got up and used the restroom, and saw the mgr in there. We heard her say that our table "finally decided to leave." Very unprofessional when you are sharing the same restroom as customers to then be talking about them. I'd say the same thing had she not been talking about us but another table. I have 20+ years in the hospitality industry and that rubbed me the wrong way. Food wasn't good enough to come back, so this is a place that relies on ambience and service, which we'd come back for if the service were great...be hospitable. The server was knowledgeable and kind; it's too bad the manager couldn't keep her thoughts about well paying, well tipping customers to an area where customers couldn't overhear.

Walking in with very high expectations, I can honestly say it exceeded everything we imagined. They offered a special Mother's Day brunch menu, featuring drinks, sides, bites, and main dishes. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. This included the Breakfast Burger, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and Mr. Breakfast. The only item that fell a little short for me was the bacon. The flavor and thickness was very good, but it was too limp for each of our tastes. As for the drinks, I never pass up the opportunity to order an espresso martini. This version was excellent, smooth, well-balanced, and exactly what I was hoping for! Beyond the food, the experience, quick service, beautifully designed and classy furniture/decor, and friendly waitress is what elevated our experience above most restaurants.
