Her shop is quiet and minimizes the anxiety that comes with multiple other dogs, kennels, and a chaotic environment. Deanna was willing to allow us to stay with Maisey if we were worried and was more than willing to do a meet and greet with our more problematic boy prior to his grooming appointment.

I did the best I could, but I simply couldn't keep up. Finally in desperation, I decided, for the first time in my life, it was time to seek professional grooming - before the mats could start harming her skin! I am so glad we found Pawfection - they came right to my house and groomed Samira in their van. I worried the whole time that the new experience might stress her out, but Samira handled being groomed like the champ she is! When they brought her back to me, she not only looked amazing, she smelled delightful and was sporting a lovely bow tie! Even more important, she was purrrfectly happy and not stressed at all! I usually take my dog Coco to another groomer but they were having technical issues. Needless to…read moresay Coco needed a bath. I called around Saturday afternoon but I knew it was along shot. Turns out Jessy the owner answered and said her 4:30 may cancel or she could take Coco at 6. I was so glad. I registered with her app intending to wait till 6PM. Her app asks about any conditions the dog may have or if you wanted anything special done. I chose normal bath and tooth brush. Turns out I didn't have to wait as I was alerted via email that she could take Coco by 4:30. Score!!! Jessy texted me to let me know she was coming and when she was at my door. I opened the door and Coco ran to meet her. My dog was immediately comfortable with Jessy and her helper. 1 hour later Coco came back clean and happy. My dog has allergies so she can get yeasty and her breathe is bad. Not anymore. Breathe clean and smelled powdery clean. When I get her back from her regular groomer she doesn't smell this good, or look this clean. Major positives with Pawfection: - Mobile convenience - App great for appointments - Jessy is very communicative via text. - She takes pride in cleaning her dogs. - Jessy will send reminders on the next appointment. Pawfection is a little bit more than my regular groomer but I'm getting much better service and value. Highly recommend. PS. Coco got a dress so she looked like a house wife from the 60's LOL.

I waited, and then I immediately LEFT as soon as I saw her yelling at one of the employees, who was actually very sweet! If this filthy looking shop has a mean bully manager who is nasty to her employees, how will she treat our beloved animals??! No way, I will entrust my boy to them. Furthermore, the music was blasting so loud that I don't know how any scared puppy could feel relaxed and safe. I hope the owner is able to read this, and I will most certainly repost this message on review sites, to warn others about this so-called "spa". It also has a bad smell as soon as I walked in and everythihg looked dirty. Just so unprofessional and unclassy. I will never take my precious fur baby to an unhinged groomer like this. Manager was an uncaring, nasty woman with a chip on her shoulder. I feel very sorry for the employees working there, and the other pups who have to be scared of that chaotic environment. I do NOT recommend this facility to anyone who has a sweet, anxious or scared fur baby that they want treated with nothing but compassion and dignity. Fire the manager and clean the facility. When we picked up our boy he looked fantastic and was so so happy! He was showing off how good he looked and felt. With the cooler weather this summer, and our boy's age and arthritis, we haven't bathed and groomed him at home as much as we'd like as we groom outdoors and prefer 90+ degrees so he doesn't get chilled or his arthritis aggravated. So the old boy's coat was a bit impacted and needed a good professional grooming. The Paw Spa gave him 2 treatments of deshedding conditioner then blew out the impacted fur. When we got home our boy was dancing and prancing all day just running around showing off. And for 2 days he would stand next to us for us to pet him - I think he was showing off and letting us enjoy his fully deshedded coat and soft silky fur. A week later and he's still walking up to strangers to let them enjoy his fresh, clean coat. The staff at The Paw Spa were nice at drop off and especially friendly when we picked up our boy (he loves charming folks and wins over everybody). As our old boy needs to meet new people every day or he gets very grumpy his clean soft coat draws everybody who sees him to pet him and be charmed by him. Our clean boy is getting so many new friends we haven't heard a grumpf or grumble or complaint in the week since the grooming. So, so nice for us! We're planning on becoming regulars and will be bringing both dogs in the future for regular grooming. One funny thing is the way we tell these 2 dogs apart is the color of their heads, dad is darker. Well, after dad's grooming he had lightened to match his son's color and for a week we couldn't tell them apart. But, this breed is known to change color often, and after a week he's starting to darken again.
