This came as a surprise, as we were not clearly informed of any serious problems beforehand or given a fair opportunity to address them. Our dogs are part of our family, so this situation was upsetting. What made it even more difficult was the emotional impact it had on our household. My spouse is a veteran service member, and the tone and abruptness of the message were very triggering for him. We believe communication, respect, and understanding are essential when working with clients and their pets. Being dismissed in this way felt abrupt, impersonal, and lacking empathy. We hope this business reflects on how they communicate with clients and works toward handling concerns in a more respectful and understanding way.

He had some behavioral challenges that required patience and understanding, and they consistently treated him with kindness and worked with us when others might understandably have decided he was simply too difficult. Sadly, we had to put Stuart down just before his next scheduled grooming appointment. I had to cancel at the last minute and fully expected to pay the cancellation fee. When I explained what had happened, they could not have been more gracious and compassionate and would not charge me. That small kindness meant more than they probably realized during a very difficult week. Beyond being good at what they do, this is simply a business run by good people. They treated Stuart with patience and dignity while he was here, and they treated us with tremendous kindness when he was gone. I am deeply grateful for both and would recommend them without hesitation.
