Thank you for the most amazing, peaceful views and delicious fish lunch!!!!!!! My family and I loved it after our tour guide/ driver Rafael recommended your restaurant! We were introduced and welcome by the owner who served us his homegrown and harvested olive oil!!!! Wish we visited his grove, but gives us reason to make the trip back! Menu provided great variety and suitable for all dietary needs! What a beautiful place to dine& cuisine! So humbled and thankful for your service

We went to the almafi coast and had the pleasure of dining at Calajanara with the most beautiful view of the coast. From start to finish the staff were attentive, the owner Sal even came out and checked on us. We ate multiple delicious courses and enjoyed every dish, we didn't want to leave. As a party of 8 Italian Americans we felt so comfortable and well taken care of!

    Yummy handmade pasta.

We came through as a tour group--a busload of people and we were well accommodated! The view is beautiful...a true Amalfi Coast experience. The attached store was cute. There were some food items, along with ceramics available for purchase. The pasta was yummy. The lemony cake was super good. I would love to return, not as a part of a tourist group, but as a regular customer.

Food was very good. View is amazing. Service is very lacking. Came here for lunch one afternoon and it was a good experience. We sat on the terrace and had a nice view with our lunch. We got the complimentary bread with several choices of olive oil of the region which was nice. Then we got salad with mozzarella cheese and the cheese was very soft and tasty. After the salad we got pasta dish with local tomatoes and cheese again. The service however was nonexistent, water is self serve. Overall decent experience.

The view itself is worth 5 stars. Unfortunately, we were served a 'tour' lunch which meant not choosing from the menu. The lunch was okay but I'm sure the menu items were far better. It was handmade pasta with tomato sauce. Plain, but good. I would have loved to try the food on the menu because what I saw other people eating it looked INCREDIBLE!!!

Obviously this is my first time at this restaurant while vacationing in Italy. But this place did not disappoint! The location is absolutely beautiful, on the Amalfi Coast. The restaurant is hidden but not very hard to find just walk down a couple flights of stairs and look for restaurant signs and you'll be there! The waitresses were very friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. I was afraid that my pasta dish was going to be small and I would still be hungry afterwards but it was a perfect serving and the view was breathtaking! You can't go wrong with traditional Italian food and a view of the Mediterranean Sea. We had a tour guide recommend this place to us and I'm glad she did.

Everything from the aged balsamic to the views of the ocean here were simply a m a z i n g. We stopped here on the drive from our place in Positano to Amalfi for the day, and we could not have made a better choice on such a beautiful day. The food was tasty, service was a little slow, but we didn't care one bit. We had some delicious lobster pasta, wine, and a lot of great memories made. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

Our tour guide took us to the restaurant. Great open breeze while we ate. Had the linguine con scampi Del tirreno e pomodorino Di furore and the monti lattari con salame pancetta provola affumicata for Di latte funghi porcini Make sure to remember the coperti next time you come here which is for the cover charge and service for four people that is 14 euros. Fun fact about Europe that covers bread and tip

This has been my favorite restaurant in Italy so far. The outdoor patio is nice on a sunny day and offers an amazing ocean view. The journey to get here was a long drive and it's mostly on a narrow road. You have to watch out for oncoming traffic, vespas and pedestrians which makes the drive even more anxiety provoking. Once you get here you'll enjoy fresh authentic cuisine in a beautiful setting. The view alone is worth the visit. We ordered 4 dishes to share among us and they were all fantastic. The pan fried fish in a potato crust was one of our favorites. The gnocchi was tasty as well. You can't go wrong with the fresh local ingredients they incorporate into their cuisine. If you're willing to trek to Positano then mark this as a pit stop. By the way there is a 2,50€ surcharge per guest and one bottle of still water for the table was about 4€. Our bill totaled 89€ which is what we were expecting to pay for a semi-fancy restaurant.

My husband & I ate here on our way back from Amalfi. I picked this place based & reviews and price tags. I will say that you are paying for the view. I did not realize that it is a hotel, so when you sit to eat they charge you a "cover" charge for not being a guest. It's added to your bill. We had the Caprese Salad, which was delicious. Two cokes, a coffee & two of the lemon pastas. Our bill was £65. The pasta is homemade which was good.. It's a good spot for the view. Not the best food I've had in Italy, but good.

We all split an assortment of fresh seafood appetizers. Everyone got a pasta dish. And all split their house wine. Everyone finished with a clean plate and the owner even brought us out a crab on the house. The story of the restaurant is super. From the family owning and operating to the former First Lady stopping in. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting.

They never glanced in our direction. They tossed our plates down without looking where they put them. At one point, a server threw a bag of bread on our table after we'd finished our dinners. She was walking by, didn't slow down, and tossed a bag of bread in front of my son. When we first arrived, they asked if we had taken the boat from Amalfi. We hadn't, and after that, everything seemed to change. If you do decide to eat here, maybe say yes to the boat question. I'm thinking maybe they charge a table fee for the people who take their water taxi, and that's why they didn't want us there. Who knows. Overall, I wish we had gone somewhere else. I can't remember ever eating at a restaurant that felt so dismissive. It wasn't just passive-aggressive--it felt like they were put off by us being there, which was really weird. We spent a lot of money there. I'm at a loss. They were getting on very well with the tables near us. I loved Italy so much; this was by far the worst experience we had on our trip. There is another restaurant right next to this one on a dock. If you have the choice, I'd definitely go to that one. 5 stars to the one on the dock.

I had made reservations conveniently online and I had no clue how to get to the restaurant. Uber/taxi is not convenient out here on the Coast. We were actually the first ones at the restaurant to arrive. We were met with such genuine and warm welcomes. They started us off outside on the terrace with a beautiful view, drinks and a complimentary tasting plate. We then moved inside to a table with the best view. Everything we had ordered was absolutely divine. We were too full for dessert, but they still provided us with a complimentary sorbet and a limoncello shot. We were a bit worried about getting back to the hotel as it was dark and we were a bit tipsy, but they were so kind and drove us back to our hotel.
