I went and got my BBQ propane tanks refilled. I brought 2 of them and it was $44 out the door for both, so $22 per tank with tax included. The attendant was helpful and nice, and we got it done really quick. I was happy with the service and really can't ask for anything else. I used to drive a lot farther because I didn't know this one existed, so I'm happy that I found a new closer place for about the same price. read more

BEWARE of USING YOUR DEBIT CARD HERE!!! This has always been our go to gas station due to convenient location and lowest gas prices. But after having our debit card information jacked from here 3 times in the past 2 months, have been avoiding this place, as apparently it is an easy mark for this type of fraud. Also, these 3 incidences weren't the first time this has happened. We always suspected it might be this gas station when it has happened before, but confirmed when we got a replacement card that had not been swiped anywhere else. Weird that the jacked card info. always get used in the same places in SoCal, too. If you continue to go here, use cash. The agony of replacing a debit card twice in month isn't worth the lower gas price they offer. read more

I like this gas station because of it's location, car wash (don't use the touchless option as it doesn't do a good job) , and cheap gas price. Forget about it. Stopped by for gas and a car wash. After trying to pay at the pump, I needed to go inside to be able to get a receipt. The car wash was less than useless. No suds just sprayed with water. Would have gotten a cleaner car by just spraying it with my garden hose. read more

A 49 cent fee to pay outside isn't advertised anywhere. The gas is advertised by cash or credit but when paying the fee comes up.

I always fill my propane tanks here as well as do smog checks on my vehicles. I've done brakes here once as well. All-in-all, this place has taken care of my needs and fuel prices are reasonable. One tip is don't pay for touch-less car wash, it does virtually nothing. The other car washes are effective. read more

I used to come here for years because of the cheap gas. Coming here recently, they changed all their card reader, touch and go is available. I actually came here yesterday, got gas, was right next to the car while it was filling and gas started to spill out of the tank!!! At least half a gallon was on my car and on the floor. I notified the older man attendant who was a little round and he said "oh that's gas on the floor? Okay thanks for letting me know." Awful service. Never coming back. read more

Skimmers at Calco, it happened to me! I've been going to Calco for over 20 years without a problem. Went to the carwash in early May 2021. Four days later charges started appearing on my credit card. Somebody in New York City was using my card # for Uber rides. Immediately called my credit card company and cancelled the card. But two more charges made it through, three total. All Uber rides in New York City. Got all three charges reversed, totalled over $400. But it was a pain. I still go to Calco to buy propane, but pay with cash. Will never use a credit card there again. Maybe the chip is safe but don't use the insert or swipe magnetic strip method. YOU WILL BE SKIMMED! It happened to me and will happen to YOU. read more

Convenient gas station on Santa Teresa and Cahalan! Next to a run down plaza but it's prices are fairly cheaper than most brand name gas stations. Also a bonus that there is a $1 discount on all car wash services with purchases of 8gallons or more. There's also a shop for tune up, brakes, oil change and filter but I have yet to use their services yet. Overall OK gas station for locals! read more

My CC was used in Coachella, CA (I live in San Jose, CA) a couple of days after using this gas station. Seems that many other locals on NextDoor have had the same happen to them in the past couple of weeks or so. Card skimming at the pump and shady card handling inside the store seems to be a common complaint. My card was used to get $100 (+$3.95 charge) at an ATM - which was declined (not the right/unknown PIN?) but was used to get $70 of gas from a pump (CCs only require a ZIP code which is much easier to find than a PIN I assume?). read more

I feel ridiculous leaving a review on a gas station/car wash but I feel strongly the need to say that the customer service here is terrible. I actually read a review about how someone came for gas +car wash but the car wash was broken and they didn't refund her. I came anyways because I was in dire need of a cheap car wash. I did the gas + wash combo, I put gas, and I fell in line for the car wash. The attendant came out to me while I was waiting and ask me to pay for my gas. I told him I did already. He said no, he had "accidentally" cancelled the transaction. Mind you, I had ALREADY put gas? So I checked my credit card app and showed him the charge and he said no,no, I refunded you, you need to come in and pay for the gas... um... no.. you need to step away from my car sir because I paid already and you're harassing me to pay AGAIN. read more

Worst gas station in town. This gas will mess up your engine! Filled up a few times here because of the price but my car has been running terrible since I started going here. They claim the bathroom is out of order for cleaning all day. Taking my business somewhere else and even pay more. Totally worth it. read more

This is my local gas pit stop and occasional car wash ,when I just need a quick rinse off. The inside of the car is the most work for my car because I have dogs that ride with me to go for the parks, so yeah, dog hair:/. The drive through is good and quick, and it freaks my dogs out, which makes a hilarious video :). This place always has the best prices, and the pumps are pretty fast, and stay locked when you pump the gas. I really dislike when I have to stop somewhere else and the gas handle won't stay locked on, and you have to hold it the entire time. I know, I know, first world problems....but really? gross. Anyway, Caico has good pumps, cheaper gas, good service, and the time I didn't have my debit card? They accepted Apple Pay, and I was so relieved because I was running late. That was the first time I actually used my Apple Pay since I set it up about a year ago, so the cashier had to show me how to use it, and he was very friendly about it. I was a little embarrassed by that but afterwards, l felt I had evolved. Now I use the Apple Pay all the time, which is much more secure. So don't drive 20 miles out of your way to go here, but if you are in the area, go to Calco instead of the Shell or 76, it's a preferable place for gas. Plus the whole strip mall next door burnt down about 3 years ago and they never rebuilt, So i am sure they could use the added traffic. read more
