My dad has been coming to this tire shop for over 15 years. He has a big box truck so it's very hard to find a tire shop with his size tires. Review is for Salinas location. They saved me in an emergency situation. I was going to Carmel with my wife, and due to low-quality, sub-standard, HWY 101 pavement, I hit a big pothole at 80MPH and my run flat tire blew up! (Wife and I are dressed up and going to a nice lunch!!) I panicked and started calling shops around, while stranded (you can drive a few miles- that's it- no spare) They could totally take advantage of me and charge $$$ and I would have to pay ! but they gave me a nice used tire, mounted and all -- for $50 ! I've been coming here for years and I live in San Jose. I make the trip because the prices are fair, the quality is fantastic and they are fast! This last trip I needed two new tires and alignment. In SJ a place quoted me at $360. Here, I paid $280 and got the great Goodyear tires I always get. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. There isn't a place to wait really but I don't mind. I wait on the side and bring a book or magazine. It is located behind a beauty salon. They take all cards including debit card and they do free rotation with proof of receipt. read more

These guys ripped my sister off. She asked for two used tires in good shape. It was all she could afford. They plugged one that has a big bolt in it. Not what she asked for but she didn't have time to argue with them about it. They also put the other old tire back on. She didn't notice until the next morning it and it was flat again. She went back and the guy said I remember I gave you a Goodyear. They went and looked and tire was not a Goodyear, it was still her old off brand with the same worn tread. He then said that was the tire they gave her after all. It also turns out her rim was bent which was causing the slow leak. No one told her that it wasn't the original tire to begin with so they charged her for a tire she didn't need. They basically charged her $60 for a plug on a tire that probably shouldn't have been plugged for safety reasons. They were not willing to work with her and she now doesn't have he money to get a new rim. She also missed work time to go back to try and get what she paid for so is worse off than when she went in. I got 2 used tires from here and the guy tells me its 2 used Michelin tires and after i paid and everything was installed i noticed he put one knock off brand and one Michelin tire on this place ripped me off. I could of gotten this lionheart tire at Walmart for $47 brand new and this place sold me a used one for $45 If u decide to come here be careful But i wouldn't come back here ever! A young lady at the front desk assigned a young man to patch the tire and the repair was completed quickly and well. Everyone in the shop was working pleasantly and seriously. Tire-pressure monitor said we had a problem when we were on the 101, so we headed for the nearest tire place. They diagnosed the problem, repaired the tire, and had us on our way in about 20 minutes. Fantastic. read more

This place can be intimidating if you don't speak Spanish, but everybody does their best to bridge the language gap. Pulled up with a spare in the front, was helped right away, and in 15 minutes I left with two used tires in solid shape for $70 flat. No warranty offered, but they did mention to bring the tires back if they showed signs of leakage within a few days. The spot is hard to find if you're not familiar with the area, but once you get in, they take care of you. I'll be back, for sure. read more

Avoid this tire shop!!! Compared to other shops they are overpriced and they don't keep their word. I paid for a service and told me to come back to program the sensors another day they never said they were going to charge me extra when I came back for the programming and they did. I went in for an alignment and they did a good job. I had some rattling under my car and they pulled out some metal sheet. That made me uneasy because I figure every part and piece is important to the car, but the gentlemen said it wasn't needed. They were going to change my breaks the same day but they couldn't get the parts. They said they would call me to elt me know but since i didn't receive a call by the time they said I just went in and the parts were still not there. Needed four new tires for my Ford van. Not only was the price very fair, they found that someone had stolen the spare and gave me a used rim to replace it and fitted the best of the old tires onto it.
