This place!! I had a low tire sensor light on my new (to me) car while visiting clients in Salinas. I stopped by Cruz Tires & was immediately welcomed by the manager who asked if I could wait for 20 minutes. Of course! I parked my car near the shop, jumped in the backseat, fired up my laptop, and went to work. 20 minutes later, I was asked to move my car into the shop. Within 10 minutes air pressure was checked in all tires & they were filled to recommended amount. Yes, it was that easy! The tech told me to get my car. I got my car and left. There's no charge for this service. Did it matter that I didn't pay? No. I was prepared to pay for the service. The shop is clean & the sofa is super plush. Heck, I sunk so low that I almost fell asleep on my way down. Instead of sleeping, I watched the busy shop & staff repair cars for the other people waiting. Prices are fair for quality of work (I asked). The shop is VERY clean & all staff are efficient and kind. Just in case, they speak Spanish & a few indigenous languages... and English. My tire had a flat and I have a family trip to universal I was dreading the cost of a new tire and was joking it could be repaired. I saw great reviews regarding this family and there business so I didn't hesitate to head over. As Advertised the customer service was professional and friendly. They had a waiting area with sofas and a small play place for your little one ( still brought our own toys) in less than 30 mins my tires puncture was fixed and didn't need a replacement. 20 dollars and I was out the door... it's so difficult to find a place that is affordable and reasonable when it comes to tires... but I'm sure I've just found my place and I'll definitely be coming back next month for a new set for my car. I needed an alignment and called my usual mechanic who recommended Cruz Tires. I was greeted immediately upon entering and asked how much an alignment would be and how long the wait was. I liked both so I stayed and so happy that I did. I asked if I can get a tire rotation and it probably saved my life. The owner and another employee approached me and showed me how worn out my tires were due to a poor alignment. I was able to buy 2 used tires that he recommended with 90% life still which was really life saving. I will go back for the service and experience. I stopped by on a Sunday and he ordered me Falcon tires , the tires were ready for pick up the following day. I had a bump on my rim and he showed me during the tire change. Chava is so thorough and he is an honest man. I was considering buying continental tires. Chava explained the difference between the two and didn't try to profit from my purchase. I also had my car aligned ($40). I was told he was a good guy, but he is a GREAT guy! I called the day of, when I was scheduled to drive to LA and asked if he could remove a nail from my tire in 30min and without hesitation he said yes. Out of the shop within 10-15 min and he charged me $10! Yes, he had other customers, but he's just that good of a man. My family now goes to him as well. read more
