Please do not stay here! I don't typically leave reviews but I have to in this case. This place made me so uncomfortable. Trash overflowing and rotting around the dumpsters. Showers and laundry out of order. Signs that beach was "closed for a private event" that never happened. Almost completely long term tenants with smelly dirty rundown broken rvs. Very misleading amenities on the website. Rude tenants. No workers in sight. No response to multiple emails and calls. Left as soon as we could. I don't see how anyone could give them a multiple star rating. Please don't stay here. read more

I have to say I am shocked. The other reviews are ridiculous and inaccurate. It feels as though a group of people all ganged together to bully the campground owners or staff. We stopped in the past week as we passed through the Boise area. It was a late day and we needed to get a late reservation. We called, they answered promptly and were very very accommodating. The prices were so fair... a little low, if you ask me. The park was delightful and clean. There was no trash blowing around, the grass was properly cut, the drives / spots were well-lit and marked. It was fantastic. We had a very convenient spot that was a pull through. We have a rather long rig, no problems getting adjusted. The ground was level, it was a breeze! Please take into consideration the timing of some of the previous reviews seems suspicious to me. Give them a chance... we highly recommend (see my other 500+ reviews, I don't just hand out 5-stars for any reason). Thanks again to the owners and staff! Don't let the reviews deter you, it almost deterred us but I'm glad we stopped at this campground, ladies on the front desk were helpful, the campground was well taken care of, grass was trimmed, no loud neighbors, showers were clean, I don't know why there are bad reviews we enjoyed it read more

I find the other reviews on this campground to be bullying and inappropriate. Absolutely not a fair glimpse... We checked in here on August 22, 2022. Late-day reservation, they were very accommodating. They were very polite on the phone, answered all of our questions, and took our payment in advance so we could focus on parking / setting up vs. wasting time on checking-in. The spot we got (#67) was perfect! Pull through with a 36' trailer like we have, it was just simple. Clean, nice hookups, great water pressure, fair prices! The staff was fantastic to work with, very polite, professional, and friendly. Please, do not let these other reviews send you elsewhere. Yes, every park will have a few people who live there more than a week at a time... however, in the grand scheme of things... this was a fantastic place to stop! Looking forward to rolling through again and staying here on future trips. Thanks again to the staff and owners of the campground for making us feel very welcome! read more

We called to secure a spot, Amy was awesome with information. However, when we arrived, the owner was a complete asshole. Rude, and absolutely unprofessional. We wanted a flat, tent campsite. Unless we had a tent, we use a screen tent.( we sleep in the truck.) Never specified at all. Fuck you, asshole. After going back in for a business card, a tenant of the park was complaining about another long term renter causing problems and mgmt didnt do anything about it. Obviously a shit hole, with poor management. How sad for travelers looking for a place to stop, rest, and recharge. Please avoid this nightmare. Zero stars read more

Stopped in Caldwell to see family and friends while moving. Picked Caldwell Campground and RV park to stay at based upon price. I wish I had seen it prior to staying but they are more than $100/week cheaper than their nearest competitor and have a "better" green space. I attempted to call and make reservations. The 1-800 number listed on their website was out of service so I called the local (208) 454 number expecting an answering machine. A rude male person answered the phone and told me I had to call back during regular business hours to make reservations. Ok. Fine. Call back to make reservations and quote the prices listed on their website. Phone jockey says the owner controls the website and hasn't updated it yet (February 2020). Price jumped nearly $50 from their website but they still fell $100 cheaper than their nearest competitor. Amenities were described over the phone and sounded decent enough. Amenities include full hookups, wash rooms, laundry service, WiFi, local cable lineup, free fishing in the pond, dog run areas, and a 3 mile green belt. Many "RV"s in the park have commercial size propane tanks and look like they haven't moved in months, maybe years. Some rigs are hard-piped in for septic and some are just put on with duct tape and the hose dangled down the sewer line (which causes your septic to back flush up and spill all over the ground). WiFi is spotty at best since it is probably utilized to stream some incest porn by the residents that look inbred and high on drugs. Cable? Bring your own satellite and try to get a straight field of vision through the overgrown and dead trees. Dog run areas are unkept and their is dog shit (literally) everywhere. I pulled in and had to pick up 3 piles before I could get my dogs out. Wash rooms and laundry are closed DAILY from 1100-1230 for cleaning. Bring plenty of quarters if you plan to do laundry since a single load may end up running you $4-$5. There are no BBQ grills at the sites but there are picnic tables. Their tent sites have fire pits and BBQ grills but you wouldn't catch me cooking on one. I got the OK from the office manager to have a BBQ with friends and family at the tent sites. The fire pits were all full of garbage. I chose the cleanest one to use and moved the 3 picnic tables near it. The tables felt like they were going to fall apart and were flimsy. The entire tent area was covered in dog shit. I spent 30 minutes with my pooper scooper picking up dog shit so we wouldn't step in any while ya going out and enjoying each other's company. During the BBQ, the manager came by and told me the owner said I had to wrap it up and get my RV site picked up because they didn't allow people to store tools and BBQs outside of their unit. I had unloaded my truck to get out my BBQ so I could cook the food for the gathering so everything was neatly stacked next to/on the picnic table. The office staff and I came to an understanding and my gathering ended in its due course. I returned to my site and loaded my truck back up. Driving around the park it is difficult to find where I had instantly become so offensive to the owners. I do not know if they are running a campground or a low income slum. Many of the vehicles appear as they haven't moved in months or years. I stayed here because of cost and I am gone a majority of the time. I think the next time I am here I will park in my brothers driveway and save a couple hundred bucks. read more

While the park is beauti kept and has many amenities that make it a wonderful place to park, the property owner is as unprofessional as I have seen in my career working with the public... he was intrusive, rude and in no way professional. I would not recommend this place for any extended stays. Office staff was friendly but his unprofessional ways over shadow any good about the park. I rarely leave negative reviews of businesses, however I had such a poor experience I felt the need to. I spent one night in a tent site, reserved 4 months in advance. At the time I was quoted $19.44 per site including tax, and was charged $27 upon staying. This would normally be understandable given that prices rise over time and with change of seasons. But- 1. The sites were dirty. There was garbage both on the ground and in the fire pit. 2. There were homeless people living on the grounds with their belongings strewn about. It was unsettling and felt unsafe. 3. The bathrooms were dirty, showers needing unclogging, little light, no ventilation and supplies needing restocking. 4. The grounds are directly beneath power lines. Not only is it hazardous but they were buzzing incessantly. 5. The park is poorly maintained. Beyond aesthetic issues like chipping paint and debris, the fire pits were so rusted the grills had fallen off, leaving nothing but jagged, sharp, rusty posts sticking out of the ground. I wouldn't stay here again. I can't speak for the RV campers, but if you are tent camping you should look elsewhere. read more

i would give this zero stars if I could. absolutely disgusting. they put us in a spot with a septic clean out right outside of our trailer door. it smelled like poop the entire time. the "lake" on the premises is disgusting and filthy. the tenters all along the lake may as well just take over the park. they yelled the entire time and have trash everywhere. most undesirable park we have ever stayed at. the sites overflow with mud because nobody is competent enough to pay attention to the sprinklers that are doing nothing but watering dirt. not worth a single penny. you're better off parking in a Walmart parking lot. read more

Really half a star. The description sounds great-walking path, fishing pond, etc. This appears to be more of a permanent residence for 95-99% of the occupants. Dumpsters are overflowing with trash, horrible smells anywhere near the vicinity of the dump station, pet area has lots of fecal material on the ground despite bags being available. Sites are small, it is very difficult for big rigs to make turns safely. Walking "greenway" goes under several overpasses and looks very unsafe. Fishing pond access site is littered, watery is slimy green, although pond looks better. Women's showers and restrooms are an adventure. Desperately in need of cleaning and an air freshener. Be prepared for residents kids to crawl under the door if they want to use the shower you are in! read more

We found this place after a day on the road and were grateful for water, sewer and laundry. It has a lot of permanent sites but allow for a few drive ins for a temporary stays. The person at the desk was very nice and stayed late so I could buy laundry detergent and soda and get change for the washers and dryers. They have a pond that you can fish in and keep certain fish, clean showers and the neighbor next to us was talkative and told us that the Dems had brought the mafia from Italy and that they controlled all the unions. The only glitch was that someone stole our surge protector that was outside. If you stop here lock up all your stuff! read more
