I work with Matt Hoke regularly but also interface with many others in the team. Everyone is helpful with outstanding communications. Recent examples including changing my auto insurance coverage, transferring an inherited IRA for my wife, and researching some REIT investment options. Recommendations and decisions are always made based on my needs and comfort. Never am I pressed to pick a particular product or make an immediate decision. We work collaboratively on decisions, and Matt always validates my understanding with decisions we make. My regular meetings with Matt allow me to discuss my overall financial plan and needs, assess changes I need to consider (e.g. establishing a trust to avoid probate for our heirs), and strategize investment plans and strategies. We discuss a multitude of topics in our meetings such as decision to purchase additional long term disability from my employer, 401K investment choices, and investment risk/risk tolerance. My choice of a high deductible plan was made based on these discussions. I and more importantly, my wife is very pleased with these decisions. Instead, out of nowhere, Mike told us at the end of one meeting that neither he nor anyone else at the firm could provide services to us. So just like that we were left with no financial advisor!!
