Searched all over town for a smog check station open on a Sunday. This one is it! Service was fast (15 minutes) and very friendly! Waiting area inside the store is very clean and organized with a nice collection of Hot Wheels on display only with some for sale on a rack by the window! They obviously love their job and take pride in the work they do here. I'll be coming back next week to service my other car. I dont know where to start and where to finish. All im going to say is Sako knows what he is doing. I took my car to 3 different mechanics for a issue that no one can fix and Cali was the 4th place i took my car to and less then 24hrs later Sako called me and told me my car was ready. It's hard to find a honest mechanic in LA. The owner Sako at Cali Auto Pros is def one of those honest mechanics that's hard to come by. I had some work done at another shop. Felt their prices were high. Needed more work done on a leak on my car. My friend had all his cars worked on by Sako and suggested that I give him a call to see what he says. So I called and got a quote which I thought was fair and honest so I brought my car in and he was able to fix the leak fast and at the price he quoted me. The previous place I took my car to wanted to charge me $1200 to swap out the entire oil pan for a drain plug leak. They did offer an option to fix the drain plug with a larger drain plug to fix the leak and said that would save me some money but quoted me $600 to do that which I knew was too much . I brought my car to Sako and told him the situation and he fixed it up quick and only charged me 1/3 of what the other place quoted me to fix the drain plug leak. Now for the first time ever I have no leak and I'm super happy about that. All the reviews about Sako being an honest and fair mechanic is true. I def recommend bringing your vehicle here. read more

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation the other day. I didn't need an appointment and I didn't have to wait either. He also topped off my windshield wiper fluid and changed my air filter. First time at Cali Auto Pros & Smog check. Needed a smog test and on first attempt my car didn't pass. I was amazed as I never had an issue. Fortunately, Sarkis, the owner asked if I recently had a new battery installed, which I had. He said that it was a possibility that I had not driven my car enough miles since the new battery was installed so the calibration could be off. He said to bring it back after about 65 miles, which I did. Apparently that was the issue. Smog passed. I appreciate Sarkis's knowledge and expertise.
