My truck is on a 12-inch lift with 42-inch tires, which basically means it's less of a truck and more of a mobile observation tower. Small children look at it the way people look at monster trucks at a county fair. Most oil change places take one look at it and suddenly say things like "our lift is down" or "we don't service... aircraft carriers." Not these guys. They walked out, looked up at the truck like they were inspecting a skyscraper, nodded, and got to work like it was a completely normal Tuesday. One of the techs climbed up there like a Navy SEAL scaling a building. Next thing I know, oil change done, no drama, no weird upsells, and nobody needed a ladder from Home Depot. Truck runs great, still sits high enough to change the weather pattern in Glendale, and I'll definitely be coming back. 10/10. If your truck is ridiculously tall and slightly irresponsible like mine, these are your people.

Well I will never go back to Jiffy Lube!! As soon as I pulled up to Glendale Lube I was greeted by a gentleman to park and asked if I was there for an oil change and he said it would be about 15 min. Wait. He wasn't lying either. Two cars in front of me and they got them finished in 15 min. They called me to pull my van up and Maria was so kind and said they'd get everything done in 15 min. I couldn't believe how fast they were. So professional and kind. I was even able to bring my own oil and filter and they just did the work. The charge was way less than I'm used to. So I will definitely be back and I will tell everyone to come here to get their oil changed.

This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.

Fred helped me out - he was very friendly and non-intimidating (great for a gal going to an auto shop by herself!) He explained that Tesla tires have some foam, so patching the tire for the nail he found would be $50. It was nice he took the time to explain why it was a certain cost, def appreciated. They have a really nice waiting area with seating + strong AC (it was a hot summer day in LA), I was really impressed. Paid by cash because there's a small fee for credit card. 100% recommend this spot - friendly and service was quick. I was in and out fasttt!

Now it glides so smoothly it feels suspiciously close to an electric vehicle. Huge difference. What I appreciated most was the honesty. While I was there, another woman came in after an accident wanting to fix one cosmetic area near the tire. Armando explained why spending money only on that part wouldn't really solve the larger issue long term. You could tell she was disappointed because the bigger repair was expensive, but he genuinely didn't want her wasting money towing it to him..even if it could've been as easy sell. That kind of honesty is rare nowadays. He'll tell you the truth, even when it's not the answer people necessarily want to hear. The gentleman on the phone said the transmission fluid is for life unless I'm towing or carrying heavy loads. When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! I haven't even been to this shop yet and I'm already getting a good feeling about this place. It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

Anyone who builds off-road vehicles knows that finding the right shop is a niche and personal choice--you want a team you can trust with your rig. I had originally received a quote from a shop in San Diego, but when I realized there was a shop right here in my own backyard in Burbank, I wanted to try and keep my business local. I reached out and sent them the itemized list of work from the previous shop to see what they could do. What followed was some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced. The guy who called me back came out swinging, practically yelling at me over the phone. He was incredibly defensive, snapping, "Just so you know, we are $275 an hour for labor, and I see you cut this invoice out from someone else's estimate. We are more expensive than them." He sounded deeply insecure and visibly furious that a customer would dare to shop around for the best fit. He later left a voicemail asking me to call back. When I did, a different guy answered the phone and spoke to me like I was a debt collector harassing him. When I answered his question about who I was looking for and our previous conversation, he rudely interrupted me mid-sentence, blurting out, "OKAY, WELL I HAVE ANOTHER CALL SO..." and literally just trailed off into silence. I just hung up. Why would I ever let people who treat human beings this way get anywhere near my vehicle? How does a business survive operating like this? I had a $12,000 job ready to go for tire replacements, a suspension overhaul, front bumper replacement, roof rack and heavy maintenance work. Instead of securing a massive project, these clowns let their egos and hostile communication skills ruin the transaction. Out of principle, take your hard-earned money and your rig somewhere else. Go to a shop where people actually practice basic kindness, respect, and professional communication. The way this entire crew came across was like a bunch of snakes. Save yourself the headache and go to another off-road establishment. And know that this place charges an hourly labor rate of $275 an hour.

It has been one of my greatest pleasures to have stumbled across this excellent auto repair shop. My experience started with the proper diagnosis of a MB 380 acceleration problem. FIXED! MFast is fantastic! We've gone there several times and their work always exceeds expectations. Recently my car wouldn't start and it could not be towed because of its location. I ended up paying around $430-ish for the wheel bearing repair and the difference is honestly insane. My car used to sound awful and feel stressed just existing on the road. Now it glides so smoothly it feels suspiciously close to an electric vehicle. Huge difference. What I appreciated most was the honesty. While I was there, another woman came in after an accident wanting to fix one cosmetic area near the tire. Armando explained why spending money only on that part wouldn't really solve the larger issue long term. You could tell she was disappointed because the bigger repair was expensive, but he genuinely didn't want her wasting money towing it to him..even if it could've been as easy sell. That kind of honesty is rare nowadays. He'll tell you the truth, even when it's not the answer people necessarily want to hear. Armando and Manuel were both professional, fair, and accommodating through the whole process. They even helped coordinate a third-party payment over the phone during a stressful situation for me, which helped more than they probably realize. I gave him the green light, and he ordered the part from the vehicle manufacturer, and confirmed how long the fix would take and when to come in. I went in this morning, and everyone was kind and helpful. Armen even showed me the cracked hose after he took it out of my car and explained why he prefers to get manufacturer's parts when he can for specific issues My car passed its Smog Check after this repair. They presented me with an almost $4,000 estimate -- not including the required alignment that their recommended steering/suspension overhaul would have triggered -- and claimed several issues that simply weren't remotely real. One of their recommended repairs had already been completed recently. Another, which they described as "oil spewing everywhere," was later inspected by a second shop, who showed me in plain view that there was no leak, no seepage, and no mechanical issue whatsoever. To verify everything, I took the car to a trusted independent Mercedes specialist that my friend has used for years. The new assessment could not have been clearer: the repair list from High-Tech Automotive was unfounded, exaggerated, and appeared to be an attempt to take advantage of a customer they assumed wouldn't verify the work. Based on my experience, the estimate was misleading, inflated, and not supported by any legitimate diagnosis. Stay FAR away from this shop UPDATE: was just a bent rim, $150 repair. Not $4000!

My truck is on a 12-inch lift with 42-inch tires, which basically means it's less of a truck and more of a mobile observation tower. Small children look at it the way people look at monster trucks at a county fair. Most oil change places take one look at it and suddenly say things like "our lift is down" or "we don't service... aircraft carriers." Not these guys. They walked out, looked up at the truck like they were inspecting a skyscraper, nodded, and got to work like it was a completely normal Tuesday. One of the techs climbed up there like a Navy SEAL scaling a building. Next thing I know, oil change done, no drama, no weird upsells, and nobody needed a ladder from Home Depot. Truck runs great, still sits high enough to change the weather pattern in Glendale, and I'll definitely be coming back. 10/10. If your truck is ridiculously tall and slightly irresponsible like mine, these are your people.

Well I will never go back to Jiffy Lube!! As soon as I pulled up to Glendale Lube I was greeted by a gentleman to park and asked if I was there for an oil change and he said it would be about 15 min. Wait. He wasn't lying either. Two cars in front of me and they got them finished in 15 min. They called me to pull my van up and Maria was so kind and said they'd get everything done in 15 min. I couldn't believe how fast they were. So professional and kind. I was even able to bring my own oil and filter and they just did the work. The charge was way less than I'm used to. So I will definitely be back and I will tell everyone to come here to get their oil changed.
