Took my car in for a smog test. I drove all the way across town to get to this place because they were offering a discount for the car wash next door if you get your smog test done here. I showed the smog business owner the coupon that they had posted for the car wash. The business owner did not honor the coupon stating it was a coupon with a mistake they had posted. I even instant messaged the owner prior to going to the shop to make sure they would honor the coupon and he said yes. I took a screen capture of this conversation and showed it to the owner and he still refused to honor it. The owner never apologized and raised his voice at me. Also, while he was doing the smog test on my car, for some unknown reason, the owner was sitting in the driver's seat of my car and floored my accelerator while in parked gear making my tires screech like it was in a high speed car chase movie. He did not explain his behavior nor apologize; he was laughing about it. I was infuriated because that ate up half of my tires and could have damaged them. Very unprofessional and unethical place. Yurik was a life saver! Went to several places to get our i3 smog tested because it's not a car most places are familiar with. It's an EV/Hybrid. Everyone else couldn't figure it out or refused to. Giving a two star because the guy was nice but he refused to run a smog test on my car because it had a muffler delete. My car just has a cold air intake that's CARB legal (I even showed him the sticker saying so) and the muffler delete other than that it's completely stock. Im disappointed that the mechanic does not fully understand what effects emissions and refused me a simple smog test...now I'm late for my tags‍ smh read more

Let me start by saying that I am a haggler. The prices at this place are fantastic. I have been going to this shop for three years for smog check and oil change. They have great service and their good work ethics are obvious. I would definitely recommend them. Last time I had a smog check, they checked all the fluids and recommended I replace the air filter. Since Auto Zone is around the corner, I decided to get the filter. When I got back, they were vacuuming the leaves off of my car and treating the battery terminals.
