She asked her coworker Taylor, who looked into it and called the manager, Dolly, over the walkie to approve it. Dolly's immediate answer was just, "We don't do that." I asked Sophia if Dolly could please come to the front so I could explain the situation directly, and Dolly flat-out refused to come up. To make matters worse, while Sophia was kindly looking for the corporate phone number for me, Taylor rudely told Sophia to stop helping me and move on to other customers--completely ignoring the fact that I was a customer who was there first and deserved to be taken care of. I want to give credit where it's due: Sophia was lovely, apologetic, and did her absolute best to help me. But Dolly completely failed to step up as a manager and do her job. What makes this even more frustrating is that I went straight to another Burlington location right after, and they were able to provide the non-sale receipt with zero issues.
