I have always got my haircut here ever since i moved to vista, i call everytime to make appointments show up 10mins befor to wait 1hr to see people get helped when thay came in after me, make appointments for a haircut and beard trim to be told thay only have time for one not both, to have the barber steal money from me lying that a beard trim costed $20 when it costs $15, These guys seriously dont care but.. thay can cut hair, moving forward thay should make it right with there customers and treat them with respect. read more

I moved to SD about a year ago from LA since then I've been on a search for a barber this will be the 7th barber I've tried Worst hair cut I've gotten yet! I got my hair cut by the guy who's all the way to the left when you walk in. I asked him for a LOW FADE gave me a HIGH not even fade just a 0 all the way to almost the top of my head! And it took him and hour to do that! It's simple LOW FADE NOT TAPER NOT HIGH FADE it seems like SD Barbers don't know the difference. Highly recommend this place, I've been coming here for about 4 months now, I get my hair cut every week. The wait time vary from 15 mins to 2 hours depending on what day you go for walk ins. I usually come here by appointment, Chuy is the one who cuts my hair. He takes his time, very professional. You can make an appointment with him on his IG @chuyfiloso he usually gets fully booked so make your appointments early. People who gave 1 star were probably walk ins and had to wait a long time. Customer service is pretty good, they focus on you while they're cutting your hair so don't expect to get special treatment as soon as you walk in. The chairs are limited inside for the walk ins. I do understand it's busy at time but the way they pick and choose from costumer shows how unprofessional they are, and a waist of time if you ever show up at this barbershop. Well trained barbers that know exactly what they're doing. Very professional !!! And will cut your hair just the way you want it... The only bad thing about this place is the WAIT I have waited for more than 2 hours for my turn and even with appointment it takes a long time so if you're in a tight schedule I don't recommend it... Just want to say that this is one of the most unprofessional baber shops around i went in at about 7 pm to get a haircut and they were all busy so i asked if they would have time to cut my hair since they close at 8pm they said yes so i waited then 2 more guys came in and seemed to be friends with the barbers and they decided to cut there hair first even offered them a beer and by the way they were all drinking on the job. so im still waiting and the owner finally finishes his haircut that he was doing for an hour it almost seemed like he was taking more time so i would just leave and by that time it was 8 then instead of cutting my hair he decides to go outside and eat an elote (corn on the cob) instead of cut my hair so i left and i will never go back again worst customer service ever read more

When the passion is there, you can feel it. And the vibes were off the wall in this place. Great customer service and cleanliness, wasn't really used to seeing it all in the same place. If I could give this place a zero star I would. It was my first time here and it sucked. I was waiting here for a good hour to get a haircut. I was because I was next and suddenly this costumer comes in saying that he has an appointment, I understood that because you pay 4 dollars more aside from the haircut itself being 16 bucks. After that this guys who was waiting and bad came after me out of a sudden was called by the barber by name because they knew each other. I immediately stood up and told him I was next, the barber with glasses on completely ignored me !! I was behind pissed at this point. One bad visit is all I need not to come back setting is nice Barbara's look like they know what they're doing but right when I walked in the door there was no Greek or acknowledgement that I even came in. My son asked for a faux hawk and immediately when the barber started cutting his hair we already knew he didn't know what he was doing. It looked nothing close to what we asked for. I like this place because of the unique style that they offer at a good price. The only down side is they only take cash and if you need to use an ATM they send you to a seedy check cashing business next store. I am skeptical of using ATMs at check cashing places because it is possible that those are the types of ATMs where you number can get swiped. My husband's goes to the Best Barbershop in town hands down. He came in out of luck and needed a last minute haircut and now I come every week. Customer service is great and chuy gets him looking professional and presentable every week. Great family atmosphere and my one year old daughter knows the whole shop because we come so much.
