This was my second time coming to Cali Colombian Restaurant and once again I had a great time. I decided to order the ajiaco soup this time and it was absolutely amazing. The portion size was huge and it came with white rice, capers, and cream on the side. Wasn't too pricy either considering how large it was. I also got 2 chicken empanadas on the side and they were delicious. For dessert I got the tres leches again and it was so good! I love this restaurant and I can't wait to come back.

This was my second time here. It is a bit far from where I live but today I was driving through and got a craving for it. Full disclosure, I am Colombian so absolutely enjoy the full menu options. There is plenty of parking but the inside is a bit small so I'd consider time when heading there. Sunday evening was great as I got to pick my table after I was greeted upon arrival. I went with the typical dish, my favorite, Bandeja tipica (paisa). This dish is LOADED, so had leftovers. It has rice, beans, avocado, sweet plantains, egg, arepa, chorizo, steak and chicharron aka fried pork belly. The server was friendly and got my order correctly. She got me lime wedges afterwards which must be used with the chicharron. Half a star lost because the empanadas are not my favorite. The outer shell and the inside. Not what a colombian empanada at least my favorite one is like. But you can try it. The ambiance is great. They play music and there's some nice art and two televisions. The other half star lost is because of their point system for rewards. I didn't get points for my last visit there. And the server was not very knowledgeable of it. But overall, I will go back. Check it out though! Ps. They have a bakery too, it was too late today for me but definitely try the "pan de bono" and thank me afterwards.

Absolutely delicious burger (and huge too!). The waitress was lovely and made good recommendations on what to order! The fries were probably the best fries I've had in years! Definitely will be coming back!

Best authentic Colombian cuisine in the area!! Our family loves eating in for the casual yet clean and vibrant atmosphere. Cali also catered our daughter's graduation party and did an AMAZING job between the service and attention to detail plus high quality of the food that day. My husband is a native of Colombia, of course we will be back. Thank you

As a Colombian, I'm very picky about what's called authentic -- and this place did not disappoint! There was a 30-minute wait since the space is small, but they were upfront about it and you could track your wait time on your phone, which was great. Once seated, we were offered drinks right away and started with the coconut lemonade -- so good! We had the patacón con hogao for an appetizer, which was perfectly flavored. I wanted the ajiaco but they were out, so I tried the entraña instead -- it came out sizzling and was juicy and delicious. My husband loved his bandeja paisa. Portions were generous and the flavors felt truly authentic. I can't wait to go back and try the ajiaco, buñuelos, and almojábanas next time!

The steak was amazing as well as everything else.

Great food and service. After experiencing this restaurant I've been introducing my friends as well and they love it.

We have been wanting to try this for a while. We stopped by and ordered food to go. The place had a wait for inside finding, so I had high hopes. The food took around 20 minutes which I don't mind since I could tell it was cooked fresh. I ordered their fried rice, the whole fish, two orders of the fried pork, and chicken&steak meal. ( Not the proper names but that's what it is) However when we got back home I noticed the steak & chicken was missing for my meal. I attempted to call but no one answered twice! I drive back up there, which is a 15 minute drive. They proceeded to tell me they packed the meat and showed me a container it should've been in. Like I was lying! I assured them I did not have it. The rest of my family is at home eating while I'm up here explaining that I didn't have it. They give me the steak and chicken but didn't think to make me a fresh plate of the rice and salad they had in the other container after they had inspected it and talked all over the container. I just took my meat and left. The steak was seasoned to perfection, the chicken was also good, but could've came off the grill 5 minutes earlier. My friend enjoyed the fried rice, although she said she didn't like the hot dogs in it. She would get it again and minus the hot dogs. My mom enjoyed the fish, and the plantains were also good. I would try again, but would either eat inside or inspect my food before I leave.

What a awesome new place in Raleigh. The food was incredible. The service was amazing. The vibe and decor are so fun and colorful and full of life! We went on opening weekend. It was super busy. But we got seated in about 20 minutes. Can't wait to go back!

I had driven by and, from the outside, I thought this was a fast food tex mex type place but after looking at their menu online I saw some delicious sounding breakfast entrees. Decided to try it for Saturday brunch with my son and his girlfriend. An employee opened the door for us and asked if we were dine in or carryout, then directed us to a table. The place was almost full and we were some of the few not speaking Spanish which told me the food was going to be much better than any fast food Tex mex joint. Son and I both ordered the Desayuno Mi Cali with chicken which was a huge platter of food. Each item had tons of flavor. I'm a big eater but even I needed a box. Food came out quickly. We did have to call our waitress over for boxes, drink refills and check. Son's girlfriend liked her coffee and they carry fountain drinks if you like those. I will definitely return with my husband. Thrilled to have another brunch option in Raleigh.

The food here tastes dynamite and is generously portioned. Since the indoor dining area is small, we opted to sit outside. Such delicious entrees! This was our first visit, but we will definitely return with friends next time. Cannot recommend enough!

Every time I passed this place it's been packed so I decided it to give it a try. It is a very small space so if you like privacy when you eating this is not your place all the tables are pretty close to each other. I will say food was very good, it is very difficult to rate a restaurant when you haven't tried the real deal, but food was not bad, and the portions are very big. I had a mix arepa and was huge, hot and good, my son had a burger and was good as well. The service was very very good, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. When comes to price is not the cheapest place but I think the size of the portions are reasonable. As always this is my honest and truly opinion.

Cali Colombian was really delicious. My husband is from Colombia and he has been looking forward to trying this place. It did not disappoint. I got the Arroz con Pollo, which was packed with flavor. I loved the Hugo de Mora (blackberry)-it tasted just like we were in Colombia. The sancocho was also delicious and fresh. There was a nice selection of bakery items. The service was exceptional. This is a great addition to Raleigh and we will be back.

I ordered the crispy shredded beef with cheese arepa with the cilantro sauce and the chilled chicken avocado snack with chips. The shredded beef was very tender and flavorful, I tried it w/out and with the cilantro sauce, both bites were great; the price is not half bad being under six dollars. The chill chicken avocado snack with chips is another great option if you want something light. The mixture was very light and creamy. The chips were ok, they didn't have any seasoning, not sure if I got a bad batch or if they don't season the chips. If anyone goes before I visit again please let me know. I don't necessarily need the chips. The price for the snack is also under six dollars too. Guasaca has three locations in Raleigh (Lake BooneTrail, Spring Forest Rd and Hillsborough St.), I went to the Lake Boone location because that was the location I visited many years ago. This is a place I will be visiting again, I may try another location and I hope to have the same quality of food. Happy Eating!

There was so much beauty in this restaurant. I took a seat at the bar as it had a plug and checked out their menu. You have to scan a QR code to access it, and it gives you a list of their drinks and food. Their food menu is not super extensive but has a focus on a few tacos, appetizers, and entrees. I couldn't decide between the guacamole and salsa with chips, but I was told by the waitress to go with the guacamole. It comes with a mix of three flavors of mango, cojita, and pepita (pumpkin seed). The manho was the best of the three. However, the quality was okay--it was a little runny for me, and there was nothing special about it. It was basic guacamole. I also got their chicken taco that was grilled to perfection and had a nice crunch to it as well. It could've used some salsa or creama. Looking back, I should've just gone with just the tacos. Minus a couple of stars for the weird atmosphere vibes and stares. The lady who served me did not seem happy that I was only drinking water despite ordering food. I wasn't drinking alcohol that evening, and I felt that force from the waiter as she asked me again and again about a drink. I think that this is a good place for just their drinks. I think the food is secondary to this and the taste and quality shows.
