So I pull out a gold diamond necklace and he tells me his time is too valuable to look at ONE piece, one I know for certain is gold. He literally tried to SHOO me away. And then he tells me he usually charges $10 to look at each piece, which if he does he should have told me that over the phone. But I know that's a lie bc I've been there with a friend of mine and there was no fee. And he says well u should've told me u had gold over the phone. What ELSE would I bring to a shop that specifically buys gold?? Unicorns?! I'd understand had i not called, but he was expecting me. It took me 5 mins longer to get there than I said. The reason I called was bc the last time I had driven there they had already closed and left and there was still 20 mins left till 5 (their posted hours). He did give me a price for a large silver men's ring, one a different shop wanted to give me $20 for, he said $3.
