I don't know if I overstayed my welcome, but it was definitely time to find a new salon. My mother has sworn by the Anderson Top Nails since before they renovated the place. It's a larger salon, with 24 nail seats and 14 pedicure chairs. They say they take walk ins, but it's difficult to actually do that so I recommend making an appointment. It's actually funny, given its Yelp rating, how busy it can get! I don't have a particular favorite mail tech - but my mother loves Maria and my sister loves Sandy. I used to get super pretty long nails and even had a calendar for what I'd be getting - but my current job only lets me have natural painted nails, and that's a stretch. I'm still grateful that I can get what I get, and I enjoy my biweekly gel mani/pedis with them. With pedis I highly recommend gel. My regular polish always chips as soon as I leave! I've not experienced this in other salons, so I don't know what the deal is. The gel stays on perfectly & $5 extra isn't going to break the bank. Again, I don't understand what's with all these negative reviews. I don't want to diminish anyone's experience, but this salon is far too busy to be 2.5 stars. I recommend going during the day for the best service, but the night crowd does a sufficient job. My nails are pretty and clean, and yours will be too after a visit!

They always offer beverages ("Would you like lemon in your water?") The nail staff is amazing - charming and fun and easy to talk with, and so, so good. My nails always look beautiful (toes and fingers) and I have such a lovely time. Melissa, Carly, and Elizabeth, especially. It's a wonderful experience. Heated neck wraps are immediately offered, they always check with you on water temperature for pedicure tubs (which also have lovely soothing lights that change color). The massage chairs are almost as good as an actual masseuse (although for a real massage...oh, yes, this is the place!) They have both OPI and essi, and always the latest colors.
