Would not recommend. Was rushed through my nails and it shows! First, after doing my pedicure, Ivy had me walk across the salon without the sandals I normally wear with this service and the sandals (including my daughter that day with another tech) had on. Gross! This made her annoyed probably but that is what I wanted and made it clear from the start. She quickly applied the tips (wrong size) and the polish coats. She didn't even turn the dryers on so I had to tell her about it. The gel lamp time was minimal and to top it all off, she didn't even let me wash my hands off after she didn't clean up the undersides of my nails OR put cuticle oil on them! Do yourself a favor and don't. I went to get a pedicure and was rushed through it. I'm not typically one to complain or leave negative reviews, but my experience at Ambience in Anderson yesterday was bad enough that I feel like I need to let people know. I've been an Ambiance customer for years with mostly good experiences but had such a BAD experience's yesterday that I feel like I have to write a review. Went in for a gel manicure. Decided against acrylics or tips because my own nails were long and healthy. Well they were BEFORE Leon the nail tech cut them drastically short - so short that it hurt. Like, below the nail bed of a couple fingers. Then he proceeded to do the worst gel color I've ever seen. Looked like a kid did it. But at least color is easy to fix. I was mostly upset about how he butchered my natural nails. I left without complaining because the damage hadn't fully hit me yet but I called 10 minutes later and told them how disappointed I was. Receptionist asked me to send photos so I did that. She told me to come in so they could re-do the color. I told her I would also need tips because my nails had been cut so short that they were not just ugly but painful. Went in, got tips and new color and the manager CHARGED me. For tips I DIDN'T WANT in the first place but that I now needed because my own nails had been BUTCHERED by their tech. It was horrible customer service and pretty embarrassing to be treated like I was trying to scam some free nail tips instead of just a super disappointed customer whose nails were massively damaged by their employee. Anyway, even the new tips are not only not what I wanted but two already need to be fixed. I'm going somewhere else for that. Two pieces of advice - if you go to ambiance with healthy natural nails take a 'before' picture so if one of their techs ruin them they can't lie about it (which they did) and stay away from Leon because he either doesn't know what he's doing or he's a jerk who ruins nails for fun. Below are photos showing how short the tech cut my nails. It will take months for them to grow back out and the pic I showed the tech of what I wanted. Also the only photo I could find to show how my nails looked before they got butchered. And finally a pic of the "fix" which is not what I wanted and looks terrible but at least my carved up sore fingertips aren't exposed. Now I just need to find a nail salon that can fix this mess before Christmas. Like I didn't already have enough to do ugh. Worst nail salon experience of my life. read more

Went to Ambiance for the first time this week and I enjoyed my experience. I had a basic Dip manicure done with no tips added. I usually add tips, but just wanted a short nail this time and was really worried if they would look bad because of that, but they did not. The job from start to finish (I had nothing on my nails to starT) only took about 40 minutes and the price was SUPER reasonable. My nails are pretty short, but I bite my nails, so believe that was my own fault and the nail tech tried to make them look as uniform as possible. The salon itself is also very nice and I was a walk in appt and got taken care of in less than 5 minutes on a Sunday afternoon (Which in TN for me that would have had to be a reservation). read more

Treated myself and my daughters to a basic manicure at Ambiance Nail Spa recently. We were assigned to a manicurist as soon as we picked our colors from the very large selection of available nail polish. My manicurist worked with me to understand the length and shape of nails that I prefer and she made super sure my nails were dry before she let me leave her station. The spa is very comfortable with nice seating, lighting and decor and there are nail drying fans built in to the stations to help move things along in between coats. They accept credit cards for services but not tips. If you don't have cash on you, there's an ATM in the spa. read more

My pedicure was 15 minutes. Manicure was 15 minutes. I paid full price for both services, not 'express'. I think my massage during the pedicure was 30 seconds if not less. They didn't even cut my cuticles or my nails, just filed them poorly. Didn't put a top coat on my polish. I could go on...The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is because the salon is clean so I gave them a star for that. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a treat for yourself, not a 30 minute rushed process for $80. I was so disappointed. I wasn't going to leave a review, but 4 days later... my fingernails still hurt. I believe I was charged for a Master technician, I'm not sure because I paid for my daughter's horrible manicure as well. My tech, Mia, made me bleed on 7 fingers and all I got was "Sorry" and she asked for my card. I went in for a manicure Monday. I'll admit I don't get them often but the result was unacceptable. I was a really fast job, didn't soak my cuticles on one hand, just went straight to work, quickly filed, put polish over the one nail that still had clear on it, even told him it was there. Once home, you could see all the layers he put on, topcoat didn't even cover the entire polish. Started chipping off in one day. Was able to quickly get in for a pedicure. Upgraded my pedicure but it lasted less than 30 mins. I was told it will last around 45 mins. The lady didn't massage at all and the moisturizer was not applied evenly. The paint on one foot was not done right. She said it was ok when I pointed it out. I don't often patron an establishment that I've already had a bad experience at but I was in a pinch because I wanted my nails done before a wedding this week. I arrived 1 hour before closing - plenty of time for a pedicure and the door was locked. The receptionist opened the door and asked what I was getting, I find it odd the door was already locked. My nail tech was Tonya and not only did she not do half of what was required of a typical manicure (the entire appt was less than 20 min), what she did do was extremely poor. Really good basic pedicure from Anna! My visit went very well with nothing to complain about! Made an appointment the day before and was confirmed right away using the online portal. I came in right at opening to find several other walk ins. They took me right away and got started! The basic pedicure lasted about 30minutes which was just enough. Anything less wouldn't have been worth the $35 w tax. The massage chair was the icing on the cake. I was given a bottle of water right away without being asked. Water temp was perfect, cuticles look well trimmed and I haven't had any chipping of the paint and we are on day 4. I've had a basic mani at another location and it chipped right away. Have been going to Ambiance for years! I take my mother and granddaughter every 2 weeks and it's such a great experience together. They never fail to do a great job, are always on time and my granddaughter gets fun nail art. Shout out to Nathan, Daisy and Julie for excellent customer service and amazing work each and every time. Well... where do I begin? I started to go to the Anderson Ambiance in early September after taking a long needed break from my previous salon. The more times I would visit here, the more I felt like part of their family. I've gone through so many different colors, lengths and designs and have never walked away from an appointment unsatisfied or upset. I always appreciate when my nail technicians take their time to do my acrylics right, making sure the edges are sharp and straight. I booked an appointment for the design below. I even attached it like they asked. I came in for my appointment and was told they couldn't do that design. Seeing other designs they've done, I feel they could've done that. Another thing, it was $87 for French tips!!! I didn't even get the design I wanted and it was still almost $90! My friend just got an evil eye design there for $80 and I get French tips and it's more expensive? Plus it's super messy and none of them are even. Update: Ambiance reached out and took care of fixing my broken nails and even did a fill in. My new tech was super patient and took his time with my nails. He was very concerned with getting the right shape and making sure they had clean edges. Great customer service! I hate leaving a bad review, especially since the techs I had on both visits seemed nice, but I'm confused about all of the wonderful reviews when both visits I left in pain. On my first visit, I got myself a full set. My tech was sweet but it seemed like she was in a huge rush. That left me with two fingers in severe pain (she nicked the skin and I had to put bandaids on when I got home). A few nails were also lopsided, but nothing super noticeable. I thought maybe it was just a one time experience and made a second appointment a week and a half later when the tip of one of my nails broke off. I went in the get it repaired and get a fill-in. Again, I felt like my new tech was in a rush and left in severe pain and sores (bandaids again when I got home). But I will say, they looked more even. I tried to chalk it up to just having semi sensitive skin, but now just 5 days later, I still have scabs and one of my nails even fell off! I just thought that for a $60 fill-in, I wouldn't be in pain and my nails would last for longer than a few days. It just sucks and I wish I had a 5 star experience like so many others o read more

The staff recorded me !! I have been going to this location with my daughter since they have opened. I took her for her birthday and she was fussy but normal for a 3 year old. The staff made me feel like shit that my child was being a child. They constantly reminded me how other people are wanting to relax. IM A MOTHER !!!!!! I should get to relax tooo. worst salon I've ever been to! I had Nathan and he swatted at my hands and pulled on my arms so much it pulled me into the table. Was extremely rough and not an enjoyable experience at all. i am not one to typically complain but i paid $82 just to get a full set of tips that did not match and had blobs of a design on them. My other fingers are a different length than my thumbs. The whole time i felt like he was trying to get more money out of me and said he was giving me a discount from $82 to $77 but when i went to pay he said since i was using card it was $82 which led to no discount at all. I went and complained to the manager and she would not refund my money or give me a gift card. she offered for him to take it off and do something different and i was not willing to have him again and had a doctors appointment i had to go to so she would not refund my money because i didn't have time to get all of it off... very disappointed! I went for a manicure. The color I chose on the pallet looked a lot different on my nail. I wanted a different color when she painted my pinky nail. She became visibly angry and was very short with me. She began speaking in a different language and it didn't sound pleasant. I felt she was talking about me.
