Eden promptly responded to my initial email and patiently answered all of my questions. It was hard having him so far away (I am based in Palo Alto), but I would drive twice as far to have Eden take care of my dog. Each day Eden would post a photo on Facebook, so I could watch him grow and she was always available to talk on the phone if I wanted an update. Eden transformed my 3 month old puppy into a well-trained, well-socialized, very happy dog. My puppy knows how to come, sit, stay, leave it, drop it, shake, and walk on a leash. He now comes with me to work and is the best-trained dog in my office. Now that my puppy has graduated from board and train, I look forward to using Sierra Dogs as a boarding place. I signed my dog up online for agility 2 weeks before the class was scheduled to start. I did not receive any receipt or confirmation, but the money was withdrawn from my account. I did not hear anything from Competition Canine so I went ahead and called the day before his class was set to start, just so I could confirm. The person on the phone informed me that the class was cancelled! And was not even apologetic. They told me that the trainer was supposed to reach out and they would have her reach out to me. That would have been nice to know that the class was cancelled, I don't think it's too much to send out a simple email or text message. I'm just glad I didn't drive all the way out there to show up to a cancelled class. Well another week goes by and they finally let me know via email that I can sign up for another class or get a refund. I responded to their email asking for specifics regarding the other class that they had available as an option. I did not hear anything back. So another week goes by and at this point I'm not interested in their business so I send them another email asking for a refund for the class. I still have not heard anything back! I had to contact my bank to dispute the charge due to Competition Canine's negligence or just lack of customer service. I just don't understand how they can run a business like this. Not only were they incredibly inconsiderate of my time (if a class is cancelled that's ok, but just let me know), but to withdraw the money from my account and not respond to my inquiries? Seems fraudulent to me...I'd rather go elsewhere where there is real and considerate communication.

My Wife met Shannon and we called her immediately and after only 1 session, it was like she hit the reset button. We finally get to work on some new tricks and have a life with Hawthorne that is Stress Free. Shannon even developed this new Training program every night at 7pm to go on a 4 mile walk with her dogs and other dogs she has worked with, just for some extra help and training in a pack setting.
