I've been going to them for years with multiple vehicles and plenty of family and friend referrals as well. they stand by their work, they treat you like family and it makes it that much easier to know who to give your business to. I had taken my other vehicles to Cali Tintz for window tints and they always did a fantastic job. This time I took my "new to me" 2018 MB AMG C63 for chrome delete and black out the grill, decals and MB star. All I can say is WOW!!! Was recommended to come to Cali Tintz from our wonderful neighbor and couldn't be happier to have chosen them. Front desk was friendly and helpful with questions we may had.We chose the limo tint in the back while 30% up front. It came out exactly as I requested and couldn't be happier with the work. Installation of tint was quick and price for the work was done reasonable. They do such a great job at what they do that I highly recommend Cali Tintz for their work. the tint gave my accord the privacy i was looking for and they did a really good job. i don't remember how much it was that i paid but i will bring my other cars there too. gave me exactly what i wanted, told me of the laws, but i still chose 5% on all windows and 30% on the front windshield. read more

I purchased a new car and had the window tint added into the deal. The dealership told me they had a shop whom they always use and I would simply call make the appointment and tell them the dealership would pay. I made an appointment to drop off my car to get the windows tinted. I was told the appointment would be at noon and the car would be done by the end of the day, I agreed and asked if I could drop it off earlier since I work nights. The lady on the phone said yes and that they opened at 9:00am and i could drop it off then. I called two days before and spoke to someone to verify the appointment and to make sure I could drop it off early. It is now 9:30 am, no one is here and they are not answering their phone. There is also another guy here who was planning on doing the same thing but he needed to drop it off and go to work. Terrible business practice. read more

Cali Tintz did an amazing wrap job on my car. The old one was all cracked and baked but I needed to get it replaced asap. Gerard was willing to go the extra mile and worked on it on Sunday so that I could have my car looking very nice before Monday. He removed the old ugly wrap and put the new one in a few hours. I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Cali Tintz. I had two vehicles tinted here, a brand new 2024 Tesla Model Y and a 2008 Lexus LS460. Both of these vehicles were unfortunately damaged by the shop during the tinting process. In response to this, the owner decides to tell me that the damage had already been there for both these vehicles. The Tesla was tinted the year prior to my Lexus, there was damage to my driver door from some type of tool after I got my car back. Upon speaking to the owner, the response I received was "it was always there". Fine, maybe that could be true, but a year later when I took my Lexus to get tinted, the owner carelessly ripped my rear passenger seat. I received the same "It was always there". It is just not possible, not only do I detail my own vehicles on a regular basis, but nobody sits in the back! I detailed my car the day before and it was as usual in pristine condition, I go to pick it up and there is a tear in the seat from some type of tool. There is no respect for other people's belongings from this shop. I'm still left with the question; how does a seat tear on its own??? read more

I love this tint shop. Every car that I've owned, I have had them tinted here and referred them to anyone I knew needing tint. I just went to a different shop recently only due to the convenience and time frame. However these guys have always provided great custom tint work and are very friendly and customer service center oriented. They have always worked out a decent price too. I hope this helps. The year is 2018 and we are back with hubby's "Man-Van" (mini van) for the Cali Tintz guys to tint. I think this is the 4th car they've tinted for us in the last 13 years. I had an appointment for 3:00 pm but they called me around 12:45 and said they had an opening so I brought the car right over. After about 1.5 hours my car was done and I was able to pick it up. I'm glad I was able to get it done earlier than scheduled. Great customer service and quality work...as always! read more

Called a few days ago to make an appointment and they had it set up in less than 5 minutes. They text you leading up to the appointment with details which was super nice! Showed up to my appointment and they were super helpful with explaining the tint percentages and even recommended the best way to match them. They were super quick and the tint is top notch. I work at TV Toyota right next door so I took my corolla here and then our new 4Runner, the tint work is fine but our brand new 4Runner got a gnarly paint chip and some serious transfer while it was there, no idea who did the damage and don't care. I know what I would do if it were my shop, and I wouldn't call a customer a liar and then not return their phone call. I will not bring another car here and I will tell every customer of mine to go anywhere but here. read more

This place is great! To begin with, the people who work here are really nice. I had nowhere to go so I waited while they did my truck. The guy up front made sure I was cool & comfortable. They had my truck done in one hour; which is awesome because the place I took my small car to in Oceanside a few weeks ago had me waiting for four hours!! Fast, professional, knowledgeable (did I say fast?) and fair cost! My husband had his car tinted by Darksyde back in 2009 and I'd been wanting to get mine tinted ever since, because it reminded me of the excellent job a friend used to do on our cars in the 80's. Long story short, Girardo (hope I'm spelling your name correctly) updated me on the better tint products now available, then proceeded to tint my entire car 5% (the darkest available). He did an awesome job, just as he did for my husband's car (which still has NO bubbling, fading, etc.). I got there around 11am on a Saturday, and picked up the car just before 5pm. I was informed I'd be "the last car of the day." The man knows his stuff, let me tell you! :) Will recommend Darksyde to anybody who has the means and money (which as of late even without a Yelp coupon only cost us $180 out the door). Incredible service, Outstanding job and honorable! I dropped of my New car with Gerardo this morning around 0930 and by 1400 it was good to go with no flaws whatsoever! The tint was well laid out and appeared to be that of a factory tint job. The customer service was superb and genuine and my car was well taken care of. He guarantees his work and offers a price that is unbeatable. The one piece of the experience that left a lasting impression was Gerardo's respect for our military and local law enforcement personnel. He had mentioned that it was an honor to take care of our Military service members and local law enforcement and it was his way of giving back and saying "thank you" to those who give their all. I dropped off my 2014 Acura RDX which has 9 windows, (technically). I am very meticulous about my tint. The difference with this place is that I made sure that they placed the tint beyond my interior window rubber guard (where the window rolls down). I picked up my SUV and examined it thoroughly. Absolutely no bubbles or scratches. I have a warranty so that my tint wont discolor to a purple like my last tint job at a cheapy place. I did schedule an appointment and they told me that they would call me when it was finished. I told them to take their time since this was an investment and I would not like a half ass job. I went to the mall and before I knew it, they called me. 5 stars for sure!!! read more

Was looking for a good shop in the temecula area and had heard alot of good things about the shop. I decided to give it a shot and when I came by the owner was very inteligent and he was very helpfull he let me know about the different products he had beyond tint such as paint protection which is some pretty nice stuff it really protects your car from the rough conditions out there like freeway driving. After discussing all the options and what was legal not legal I ended up getting tint and paint protection on the front of my car and its been almost 8 months and not an issue yet . I have a lot of cars. I've used several different tint shops in the Temecula/Murrieta area, but Dre and DARKSYDE are my new 'go to' tint and window specialist! The guys there are really awesome! Friendly, professional, personal and they do great work! They worked real hard on my new SS to make sure you couldn't see the tint line on the back window where those stupid black dots are! Called a few car tint places that use nano carbon ceramic tint. Cali Tint seemed to have the best price & availability. Dre & his crew were courteous, professional & efficient. Dre explained the various % shaded options which may work best given my circumstances. 1 1/2 hrs. later after making a scheduled appointment (which the car was taken back within 10 minutes upon arrival) it was done. I had 2 cars done, a '00 civic 2 dr & a '07 caliber... got a price NO ONE ELSE could touch & both cars were done in about 4 hours (I brought one in at a time) all windows were tinted including sun roof & excluding windshield.
