I've been wanting to put a darker tint on top of the factory installed tint on my vehicle. Of course, I did my due diligence and decided to go with The Tint Shop. I am so glad I did! From my initial request for info, Carl was very responsive and answered all of my questions. The shop lobby is clean, and he and Michael do a great job taking care of customers. After I sent an inquiry via Yelp, I heard back from Carl and decided to stop in as I was in the area. He's a really nice guy, and I didn't feel pressured at all. I had gone to 2 other shops, and one was willing to price match, but their lobby was tiny, unkempt, and even though the guy was nice, I didn't feel comfortable. The other shop I went to was a definite no for me. I already felt immediately judged for being a woman (when went in, I asked questions and he seemed to just wanna push me out the door) AND he made a comment about a decal on my car so that was definitely a red flag. Smh. I had initially set an appointment with Carl after speaking with him, but after a few hours, I called and switched my appointment to a few days sooner. I had my vehicle done in about an hour and a half. I didn't do the windshield, but I will eventually. I'm really happy with the job they did, and I can feel the difference already with this summer heat! The price was budget-friendly, too. This is my second time here. Just had my windshield tinted on my Sprinter. So much better. Less heat coming in, way less glare. Went with the CTX 50. Slightly tinted, but not noticeable. No one is going to call you out on it. Took about an hour. These guys are great. Easy to schedule the appointment, periodic updates via email and text from the shop prior to your appointment, clean facility, easy to get to. I love about 20 miles from here, but it's worth it versus going to a local shop in my area. I'll always come back here for tint. I had severely bubbled tint from the poor job done by the dealer (or whoever the dealer hired) from before I bought my car. After shopping around, I went with The Tint Shop due to the good reviews and the good deal on the quote they provided. I have had tint jobs done on previous cars from other shops in town and they will quote you one price and change in once you come in because of -insert excuse here- The guys at The Tint Shop charged exactly what they quoted as their price "out the door." They were communicative regarding scheduling, confirming the day before. I only post on Yelp if a business is absolutely terrible or is incredibly amazing. The Tint Shop is definitely the latter. I am very picky with my vehicles. So picky in fact, that 20 years ago I taught myself to tint windows on my own vehicles because I didn't trust anyone else to do it. I've since done several of my own cars, but because I am not a pro, it can take many hours to get it just right. Like most professions, installing window tint is a skill that you develop over time (it's MUCH harder than it looks - especially if you don't know what you are doing). However, today, I no longer have the time to do it myself, so I sought out a professional. Michael has been doing this for over 20 years and it shows. More importantly, he did NOT remove the door panels like other installers do. Because when you remove door panels, you will probably break the clips, and then the doors will rattle and vibrate -- and the installers will not replace any broken clips. Lastly, Michael uses Llumar film which is the best stuff out there. So if you're looking for a place that's been doing it for a long time, does it properly, and all within a reasonable price, Michael is your guy. Highly recommended! read more

This place gave me a reasonable quote by the next morning and was able to get me in the next day to tint the front two windows to match the factory rear tint. The process only took about 35 minutes and the windows match perfectly! Super happy with the job and the staff was friendly and helpful. This place is by appointment only but is fairly quick. This is a 'buyer beware' update. Took my Jeep SRT into The Tint Shop several months ago, and all was great until I was told today that one of the tint guys apparently broke the clips on the rear view mirror bracket cover. For about 3 months I've driven with an annoying rattle, and just recently realized it was coming from the rear view mirror assembly. So I took it to the dealership. Hemet Jeep service department was nice enough to repair the issue under warranty, while being very explicit the damage was likely done when the windshield tint was applied - the cover had to be removed to place the tint on that spot. With no provable evidence, and such a long period of time since the tint job, I made a courtesy stop after the dealership to suggest they take better care of customer property. And was met with the typical defensive, "Well it could've been us, but I think not" and "That could have happened anywhere" responses. Yes sir, I slammed my 80k SRT into the back of a semi at 90mph, destroying everything a mile behind the front bumper including the review mirror, just to come in here for a hug because of a rattle. I think not. I'm less likely to bring in another vehicle knowing if they damage something chances are high nothing will be said. Too many other places providing the same service for me to blindly swear allegiance to a shady tint installer. Lesson learned again, take a minute or two on location to check my vehicle inside and out. read more
