Seems like all a round good people. They got me in same day and worked on a few things I was concerned about before traveling with my car out of state. One of the items needed a part that isn't available due to sourcing so they came up with a plan to repair it instead of replace it. Which involved some extra work for them. Like I stated, the ethical thing would be to let me know BEFORE you charged me and put me as a fail (I've never failed an inspection) or say "hey, we aren't gonna be able to pass you with your tint". Obviously, you have a way to test my tint so you could have done that BEFORE going thru the inspection. There is no STATE LAW that says tint can only be tested or inspected during inspection or you can't advise people coming for inspection. At the end of the day, you took advantage and you all do bad business. And I'll stand on that. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I came here to get an alignment done, instead they tried to scam me out of gettting more work done on my vehicle that wasn't necessary. I got a second opinion and ask For a refund they denied me said it cost $45 for an alignment inspection when they don't show any price rate for it. Requested an auto inspection, friendly concerned turned to "oh you have a real problem with your "brake proportioning valve". All four workers gathered around, looking under the hood, without computer check, no mention of brake fluid, windshield wipers or brake pads. Only an out of stock part that would cost almost $600.00 (brake proportioning valve) after 15 minutes of internet searching, cust. service person could find and install with a discount of diagnostic fee of $45.00. A difference from the second inspection business down the street that passed the vehicle with windshield wipers and front wheel brake pads. Nash, the Manager doesn't try to oversell me or turn a little project into a big, expensive one. I would not recommend this car shop. They overcharged me and when my car broke down they offered me to junk my car for $350. I can't do nothing with $350. Before I could get to the shop they towed my car with my stuff inside. I am very furious, I really believe the only reason they did all this is because I am a women and I'm a young adult. I know you've been scouring the earth, looking for a good, honest mechanic. You can stop now, 'cause I'm going to tell you where to find him! Joseph and his fleet of mechanics are the real deal. He won't try to upsell you on something you don't need. They'll get your car working, at a reasonable cost, and you won't have to come back in a few days because something else has "mysteriously" gone wrong. I've been coming here for years, and their phone # is on my daughter's cell. She knows who to call in case of a blow-out. (Joseph first, Daddy second.) And to top it all off, Joseph is old school courteous. If you act right to him, he'll treat you like family. He's a good guy. The only downside is that they get really busy, especially on the weekend. I guess I'm not the only one who likes this business. But, they get the job done, and I've never had to wait too long to get my car back. I Checked out reviews for Duncanville and decided to give Meadlin's a try. Needed a wheel bearing replaced. I called the shop and was advised that they do indeed replace wheel bearings and will call me back within the hour. I received a call within 15 minutes and part was already onsite. It took them 45 minutes to make the repair and even showed me the damaged part. Great service. I think I found me a reliable and honest repair shop close to home. read more

My Mom took her car into this shop to be fixed. They kept her car for a week and told her she needed $710 worth of work for her issue. After keeping her car a week and paying $710, she still had the same issue. She then took it back to Meadlin's Car Care to have this same issue corrected and was charged another $318 to fix that same issue. Beware! The first time I went I brought them my car for a oil change and an alignment I believe. After leaving, noticed half-way on a 30 minute drive back home that my car wasn't driving correctly and felt like the alignment was off. It kept veering towards the right, I thought that I must be crazy because I had just got the alignment. When it came time for me to get my oil changed again, we went back to the same place and I have to say..I'm not sure who the person is at the front desk but the attitude in that place is a -10/10..My grandfather is hard of hearing and elderly and he was having a hard time hearing because of the masks. The man working the front desk that day had little no patience for my grandfather and I felt as if he was just wanting to get my car and push us out of there. I didn't feel like he cared enough to listen to what I thought was going on with it. He then tried to charge my grandfather 70$ again for the alignment because he claimed I had to of hit something for the alignment to mess up. After waiting, ALL DAY for an oil change and alignment. I know there could have been cars in front of me or whatever but it was ridiculous. We had to call to get a update on the car as well! I know for a fact that I didn't hit anything because I barely had been driving the car. I would have told him in the morning when I brought it in that the alignment wasn't right when I left before if he would have taken the time to actually listen to me! I just know where I won't be going again! If you go here, you better go in there and grab it by the balls because I really don't think these people care all that much! read more

My family and I had a mechanical issue with a trailer that we were towing on Friday afternoon (June 12, 2015). The closest auto repair place was Meadlins - according to Siri on my Apple5s. We limped there at around 4 miles per hour as I shared with them our issue on the phone. Before long er arrived (all seven us traveling together) and unloaded at their business. It took them a little over three hours to find the proper parts, even make one part, and then rebuild the wheel and bearing housing. During the entire time, our 7 were aloud to operate the remote, hang out in their lounge, and they even served us bottled water. They kept me apprised of all the steps in the repair process and were so very kind. At the end - they charged us a very fare price and made sure we were safe for the 3 hour drive ahead of us. If you are in the Duncanville area... I would Highly recommend these guys to serve you and be very fare about it! read more

Places like this .. love to get over women! I went here today thinking I was going to need new front brakes. I had just gotten new brakes and rotors put on all around on March 4th, but my front right brakes was grinding. I took it to the previous place and was told I purchased bad brakes. So I went purchased more brakes and took it here. He told me $70 for the front brakes. The guy checks the front tire and was like you don't need brakes. I told him my front right tire was grinding. He test drove the car and said yes he heard it. He took off the tire and said they forgot to put one of your bolt back on the caliber. He said let me get a bolt and put it on that should work. He found a bolt put it on and he was done. The owner said, that's $60 ! I said for a bolt? He said yes, he had to take the tire off and all this other bull. Let me just go back to when I was there. There was an Hispanic guy came in and said his air goes in and out and he wanted him to look at it. They looked at his car for $0 and told him everything that was wrong so the guy can say.. I took my vehicle into Meadlin's car care in December for a problem with my car rocking. I was told it required $710.32 to repair and it would take 3 days to repair. ONE WEEK later I paid for my vehicle and on the drive home realized the problem was not fixed. I took my vehicle back and test drove with the mechanic for him to see the problem. I was told another $318.13 to repair this problem and my vehicle needed the other repair. They did finally fix my problem after keeping my vehicle 3 more days, when I was told 1 day. I found out a few days later the first repair was not done. My vehicle started leaking and after two other estimates, found out the part I paid for initially was not done. The are refusing to refund may money. DO NOT TRUST THIS REPAIR SHOP WITH YOUR CAR! My car was not leaking when I took it to them. I have showed them pictures of the leak and the two other estimates, also the old part that was taken off my car! I was told I would get a call back, had to call them back 3 times.
