We were so unhappy with Caliber Collision. They kept our car for over 2 weeks without letting us know they could not get parts for our car. The car was suppose to be done in 2 weeks. We planned the timing with our move to Southern CA. We were calling them everyday to find out what was going on with our car and they would not return our calls. This has put us in a terrible situation since I am moving to Southern CA and my car is not repaired. My insurance will not pay for a rental car. I am now having to try to get a body shop in So CA. All the body shops are back logged so a complete nightmare! I wish they had told us earlier that they could not get the parts for our car. I would never recommend this place. I never write reviews but felt obligated to tell others about this place. This place needs to be more upfront about what is going on with your car. read more

I will never use this business again. I had to replace the light bar on my 2016 Ford Edge, which required removing the inside plastic cowling panels. When I got the car back, I noticed that one of the inside panel corners was popped out. A small plastic clip worth about $0.10 is needed to retain the panel corner in place. I called Caliber and explained the condition. They said they would order the part and set an appointment for me to bring the car back. After I got the car back a second time, I noticed the same corner panel had popped out again. A close examination revealed they tried to keep the panel closed by gluing it with a silicon-based glue or caulking. Guess what? It didn't work and they were caught trying to cheat me by jerry-rigging the repair. Was it worth it Caliber? A $0.10 part, really. This has huge implications. There was no way I would let them touch my card a third time. I called the regional manager and his response was why I wouldn't let a person correct his mistake. Mistake? This wasn't a mistake, it was an intentional attempt to cheat me. I did want Caliber to correct the shoddy work, so eventually I took the car in to Caliber Collision in Folsom on Auto Plaza Drive. That shop is a world of difference to the EDH's shop. There customer service is top notch and the manager is as well. read more

This place is a joke. They lie through their teeth to save money. When you get repairs done at a body shop, you expect good service. Paint colors do not match and there is clear coat over spray all over a hood. Christina yelled at us stating that we were lying basically. She was aggressive. Luckily we caught them in their lie. They fabricated paperwork to silence us. And gave us a copy of paperwork of conversations between us, them, and the insurance company. Oddly enough, no where in that paperwork states authorization from us to do repair. They received authorization from two different people who we don't know. Oh and the only reason we went back was because they did not align the truck after repairs were finished. And it's still not aligned. If you need body work, find someone else. The work they do is terrible. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! Stay away from this body shop. This is a lying, fraudulent company. The customer service is horrible. Allison was very disrespectful and lied to me multiple times. Was told 4 days, ended up being 13 days. All the while I am out of pocket on an enterprise rent a car. They put Chinese parts on my car. My fender is lined with "Yang China." They told me my insurance doesn't cover factory GM parts. They even told me they had a problem with my bumper shrinking in the paint booth, which anyone with little common knowledge knows that heat causes expansion. IVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO DISRESPECTFUL FROM ANY COMPANY. I suggest anyone, listen to all these negative reviews and avoid this place like the plague. read more

I've had a few repairs at Caliber and was generally happy with the outcome -- one thing I especially valued was the "lifetime warranty" on the repairs...until I needed to actually redeem it. Last year, I had my bumper fixed and repainted. They only used one coat of paint and the bumper paint started to crack in a few places. When I took it in, the agent tried to point out an imaginary scuff that "suggested some impact to the bumper". I know there has not been any further accident -- but it was a disingenuous loophole they exploited. And just like that, they weaseled out of the lifetime warranty. I had a very unique problem that Michael at Caliber diagnosed accurately and swiftly. To make a long story short, I had a very high stakes problem that Michael figured out. Michael used his extensive knowledge of automotive mechanics to figure out why my vehicle was vibrating. In doing so he helped me so greatly that I am having trouble putting it into words. Without Caliber's expertise, I would have been experiencing great emotional pain about the vehicle. Michael allayed my fears at once, assuring me that if Caliber couldn't figure out the cause of the vibration, then they would seek dealer assistance. The moment I walked In the door the sweetest Gal Chelsi was SO kind, smiles and helpful! She told me my Estimator would be right with me. I meet my estimator Megan McCavitt she was absolute wonderful!! Profession SO helpful walk my car see all the damages with me and explained the process to getting me car fixed. This place is soooo bad. The people are nice but work was VERY unprofessional. They worked on my 2012 Audi A4 my car is black. The hardest color to Match for sure. They left orange peal The "little bumps" after the paint job. They left them and did not wet sand buff and polish it or bring it down so it match the rest of the car. They thought it was finished and told me to come get it. It took one look to see they DONT know what they're doing at all especially with a really nice car like an Audi. I came back two times they had to continue to buff it twice you think they can get this done the first time. They are very unprofessional they did correct and fix the problem but a big waste of my time read more

I'll start out with great customer service but by far the worst repair job I've had. Let me paint the picture. 1. I'm moving 2. Tree feel on my car 3. Messed up my hand moving Ok here I go. I took the car in to get fixed early Friday morning. It was a great interaction and Geico even had this "buy back deductible" program that lowered my deductible based on some variable parts. In addition, I was able to get my rental car at the same location which was so convenient! Days passed with a few calls about my status which was helpful however, I was never provided a completion date. On Thursday I revived a call about my car going on it's second to final stage and before the call was completed I had to ask when my car was done. She mentioned it would be done Friday but I had made all the plans and told her I couldn't find time to pick up the car. They accommodated me and even brought he car to a closer location for me to pick it up the following Monday "SO NICE!". Here's where things get skewed. I got my car and the repair was not "gold" standard. My mirror was not attached correctly "really loose!". The arm part that was replaced is so oxidized it's obvious it was replaced, I know they use used parts but I feel like this one is extra used I feel like it should've been rejected. The speakers on the door NOT WORKING. I guess they didn't cover the car completely so sections in the back had "over spray" needed to be re buffed. The front light I was assured would be buffed and look new "not the case". The front hood has sections where they didn't buff the clear coat had chunks". So I called NOT HAPPY! and again extremely accommodating brought back the car and they attempted to re fix the issues I brought up however, the person that re fixed the car was the original tech so I wasn't happy about that. Like he didn't do it right he first time why would he do it right this time? Also, I'm having to bring back the car a 3rd time and pay 100 bucks to get the light replaced because it looks horrible. I wish I had known it was off when we worked on the car so I didn't have to waste my time for the 3rd time. Overall, great customer service but horrible work done on my car. This is not GOLD standard this was a quick fix from the tech and I felt he didn't have my best interests. Also, it's been 3 days and I was promised a call the next day about my replacement light. I am so happy a neighbor noticed that Caliber opened a new center in El Dorado Hills. I got a scratch on my husband new vehicle a few weeks ago and brought his car in for a small body work. Ralph helped me and gave me a very reasonable quote. I had 3 other bids and no one came close to Caliber's. Brought it in on a Monday and car was all done by 2 pm Wednesday, same week. Plus, they call me everyday and let me know of my car's progress. The job was done perfectly and u won't even know that it has been repaired. This place made our lives very difficult for the two weeks they had our vehicle and I would give zero stars if possible. We have been lied to by several people from Caliber Collision in EDH. From the beginning, I asked the receptionist if they have experience working with large vehicles like the Ford Transit. She assured me that the workers there are confident in their ability to fix the van (lie #1). I told the service manager on several occasions that we need the van back as soon as possible. We have a large family and we needed our van back so we can all ride together. It's the only vehicle to transport all of us. The service manager assured me it will be done in a timely manner and that they are qualified to work on large vehicles like ours (lie #2). He told me he would update me every 1-2 days (lie #3). I had to call him every 4-5 days. After having the vehicle for two weeks, he told me that they hadn't done any work on it for a week because they were incompetent on fixing my vehicle. Yet, they did nothing to solve the problem. If I hadn't kept calling, they would have just done nothing with the vehicle. The service manager told me they would have to tow it to another place because they didn't know how work on our vehicle. I wouldn't have been so mad if they just told me from the beginning that they weren't confident working on a vehicle like the transit. Instead, they wasted two weeks and we were unable to have our van for the holidays. The best thing they did was tow it to Harrold Ford. They were awesome and fixed it correctly and efficiently. I'm sure Caliber might be ok if you have a standard vehicle. Do not go there if you have a Ford Transit. read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. Please avoid this shop and go somewhere else. The quality of my repair was horrible..they literally left a gap where the two pieces of my car meets. They could clearly see that they did a shitty job and STILL let my repair out the door. It looks like they used really cheap parts and clearly don't invest in quality which is a shame. To top it off the paint they used didn't even match the rest of my car! They clearly do not take pride in their work or even stand behind their work. When I went back in to talk to the woman at the front desk (I forget her name) she was rude and belittling. She wouldn't even listen to my concerns and completely dismissed me. Glad I received an email asking me to review. I had a dent the size of a quarter on the roof from a branch that fell on top of the suv. They said they had to replace the wind shield and a bunch of stuff. This is a company car so they took advantage of my company. Now my windshield fogs up because it wasn't sealed correctly. When I went to pick up the car it was really dirty with white powder stains all over the back and many black finger prints from grease on the head liner. More stains found inside from grease by the door panels. These are stains I still can't get out!! AVOID this shop! read more

A deer chose my vehicle for its suicide bomb, which was sad and sucked, but what did NOT suck was my experience with all the people at Caliber Collision in EDH. They fixed the car, which I expected, but they ALSO washed and vacuumed it, which I did not expect. And this is my work vehicle so it was really dirty & full of dog hair. They kept me informed throughout the process so I knew when the vehicle would be completed. The repairs were done as expected and items of concern where checked as requested. The costs although covered by insurance were reasonable. Staff were extremely friendly & efficient. I also witness their professionalism as there was an extremely rude individual there picking up his vehicle at the same time as me and they handled the interaction with great customer service in spite of his attitude. I never write reviews but I felt compelled to after leaving Caliber. I brought my car in to get my door fixed and was so nervous as my car is such a unique grayish color and was nervous that the paint wouldn't match my brand new car. They ensured that they would do a color match and it looks as good as new! Caliber did such an awesome job on my car and I am so happy with the results. My only issue with Caliber was the timing. They originally told me it would take about 4 days (I understand that it's just an estimate!) and it took 9 days. I didn't mind waiting 9 days but every day they called me they told me it would be ready by "tomorrow". However, everyone was extremely friendly from the front desk (Kelsey?) to Nicole and they all ensured me that they were just making sure everything was perfect, and it was! Hopefully will never have to be back but I will only come here if my car needs work again! Thank you!!! read more
