Previously had a repair when this place was Cook's Collision. Recently had issues with the area of repair and was told by another shop it was due to workmanship and to go back to whoever did the original work. Caliber would not do a warranty repair on the area in question. I googled this and the internet says when caliber bought cook's they would honor all cook warranty's. read more

Absolutely the worst experience for the 2nd time! So frustrated and there was no sense of urgency and they didn't even care. I took my brand new 2026 Honda in for an estimate from a collision, very minor. I waited 15 min in the lobby for the estimator to come out... while hearing them socialize in the back. Then, he assured me that I would get the estimate in 10 min... This was at 2:50 when I left and nothing. I called this morning, and still nothing! I called and still no estimate !!!!!!! I work in the insurance industry and in claims for over 25 years... the estimate is for minor damage. I will notify the insurance carriers about the absolute disregard and unprofessionalism. read more

I don't think they can do a great job . Theyre great at pricing high. On my mercedes, bumper, hood, radiator, condenser,...10k plus already. Very expensive here. I might lose my car already no defects just how they price their labor is like doubled the price. Online the parts are not even 5k yet. What a fantastic team at Caliber Collision on Post Street, El Dorado Hills, CA. We took our car to them last year for a new back bumper, and they were wonderful. Yesterday, August 27th, we stopped by for an estimate for a few scratches on the front bumper. As always, the front desk personnel were inviting, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Devin, the technician, looked at our bumper, and said, "I can save you some money, and I'll be back in 5 minutes". He reappeared with a rag, a bottle of solution, and started wiping the scratches. I couldn't believe my own eyes! The scratches were gone. We were both smiling! Caliber Collision on Post Street is a Class Act from setting up the appointment to completing it. there are so much issue with their body work and finish on my car body repair even it was very small dent ( 2 inch x 5 inch ) on back passenger quarter panel. not only the quality of their work is very poor ( buffing scratches, missing fasteners, loose body parts, body shape does not match to the other side, body line was not matching to bumper cover etc. ) but also taking much more time than they told us, more than double time every time took back.. I am not happy with how they do their business, even they promise once, they did not do without asking so many times. and I am not going back to this shop if I had a choice to go any other place. I brought my car back 5 times so far since November last year and hope the repair is acceptable this time. read more

Dissatisfied with customer relations and work product. After an over 12k paint and minor body repair from a power-line brushing over the entire car I have now been to pick up the vehicle 4 times. From orange peal to runs in the paint to numerous dirt/dust bunnies in a black 8 series BMW they continue to try to give me my car. The excuses I have heard, our painter is sick, the car should have orange peal, we can't control all the dirt in our booth. 3 weeks later, no car and everytime they try to give it to me it is filthy with compound in every crevice, dirt, dust, and water spots. I think they leave it dirty to hide their imperfections. We are beyond disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and quality control from a high end shop in El Dorado Hills. read more

Have received top of the line service and results at both locations in El Dorado Hills! This time I took our Audi to Jeff Krisko at Post St. location, and he was compassionate and kind and knowledgeable. Once part arrived he asked shop to complete within same day, as our budget did not allow for renting a car. He also said the tech was able to complete job without removing rear bumper, so was able to complete job much quicker than was quoted. Jeff was truly an angel in my life, and am deeply grateful. Took car in after minor damage to all of left side of car after someone ran into me. At initial inspection/quote at this location I was informed that most of damage would get buffed out and obviously what could not would get fixed or replaced. When I picked up my vehicle everything looked good. Next day I noticed that my left front wheel that had damage from other cars wheel impacting and rubbing against mine was not fixed as stated on receipt. It was simply moved from left side to right front side. Later that night after lighting up "repaired" left side of car with other vehicle headlights I discovered swirl marks left by whoever buffed the out the damage. Swirl marks lit up like a Christmas tree when exposed to good lighting. After further inspection one of the damaged by areas had never been completely buffed out and damage still visible under proper lighting along with a nickel size dent in one of the doors that had not been repaired properly (still visible at an angle). I returned vehicle to get fixed since I was not satisfied at all since car was not repaired properly nor completely repaired. Picked up the car second time. Wheel had now been repaired properly. The dent on door had been popped out but crease from initial impact was still there and informed them about it during walk around inspection. I also noticed some more swirl marks on car from buffing..but of course they couldn't see those even when I was telling them where they were and that you can only see it at certain angles where the light hits it right (car was parked in shade and is black in color). I was informed they would fix the dent and that cars that are black are hard to work on and that the "guys" don't have good lighting in the shop and blah blah blah...excuses. Got home and received a call that they would send someone to my house to fix the dent on door so I would not have to drive back to the shop..that was about 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything back. Also when I got home since I don't have a fancy shop with good lighting it occurred to me that I can just park my car where the sun hit the "repaired" side of car to inspect work done on it and once again swirl marks everywhere. There is no attention to detail whatsoever at this shop. They knew black cars are hard to work on because every imperfection is noticible, yet whoever polished this car payed no attention to detail which makes it very clear that they have no pride in what they do. If they did they would of had caught this. They also wrote "Polish" on side of the car with I don't know what and "Polish" is now on the side of car and will not come out, you can only see it at certain angles. But they did get about $4,500 from the insurance without properly fixing my car. I'll be stopping in at California Bureau of Automotive Repair next. read more

I took my son's car to the location on Post St after his Hyundai was rear-ended, my insurance and the other driver's insurance both recommended them. I had the best experience! The front desk staff was so pleasant and friendly the office is very clean and welcoming . I worked with Devin and he was amazing! He kept me informed with what was going on with the repairs to my son's car the whole time and they did an incredible job on the repairs. I highly recommend this shop for any repairs! My car's side was scratched by unknown Vehicle in Folsom Bestbuy parking lot. My insurance sent a claim to this location. I dropped my car in the morning for the estimate. I got a call from 'Aaron', she wants to try to polish and see. When I returned in the evening for the quote, to my surprise, it was fixed with no costs. Offcourse the damage is not too big. This is the best place to take your vehicle if you have accident or other body damage, scratches that need remaining, or just about any other kind of repair. They're a preferred provider for most leading insurance companies, and they never fail to do a perfect job. I've taken 4 cars to them and have always been delighted by the job they've done. From the front office to the shop bays, everyone there is amazing. While I don't really want to have a damage case to take in, I love knowing that if abs when I have an issue, I'll be able to take it right up there to them. My car was hit and ran, just a few small dents and some paint chips. Took it to caliber because my insurance recommended them. The initial estimate appointment went ok. When I dropped off my car I had a very long wait with the car rental place they partner with, not their fault but still frustrating. I was told my car would be ready on Thursday, then Friday, then Monday, and then Tuesday. They were terrible around returning calls, I had to call sometimes 4 times before they would call me back. I was treated like a Karen by one of the front desk girls for calling multiple times. It was a very infuriating process and as a customer I should not have to track your ass down just to get a call back. The repair work they did does seem adequate, but to honest I think they're way overcharging my insurance. Overall I would not recommend them because of their lack of communication, rude demeanor, and just lack of customer service skills. read more

Worst customer service ever at this location. Don't be fooled like I was. I thought the Caliber behind the movie theater relocated into the old Cooks Collision. I was wrong - there are 2. I took my car to this one.... next to Big O Tire. I was told that I could not get my car worked on for 3 weeks. After telling the girl that I would take my car elsewhere to another Caliber - she told me to go to Folsom or Rancho Cordova.. She failed to tell me about the Caliber behind the movie theaters. I took it to Rancho and only then I was told about the other location in EDH! That would have been good to know earlier!!! read more

If I could give less stars I would. Terrible customer service from Regional managers on down to location. They can't seem to find parts for repairs, while other shops have been able to. Sure supply chain issue has caused delays, but these guys make it worse. They'll keep your car repairs in limbo for weeks! read more
