I called and spoke to Lisa about getting it repaired after receiving an estimate check from Geico. She was Great and got me set up the next day! Appointment set to check out the damage on Monday and see if there is anymore interior issues on it. 5/5/25 The day is already here! Wow! Arrived, checked in. Nice workers. Signed away on estimate, etc. Gave the key and they said it they would call on updates for the vehicle repair. 5/7/25 Lisa called and she said the estimate wasnt good. They have the new one, submitting it to GEICO & should get back to me by Tuesday. They sent a text letting me know. Already 5/16/25 and there's been issues. They had issues blending paint and broke a fog light. It was suppose to be ready today, but now, after talking to Lisa and hearing about all the delays, she told me she needs to submit a new estimate to Geico, hopefully by the end of today. Then it "should" be ready by Monday. Hopefully. Fingers crossed. Oh know. She called me later today and this time she said they were putting everything together and scratched my fender. No no no. Now it could take even longer. Disappointing. 5/18 Calling back to see what the deal is. No word back. Come to find out, now, the problem is they are waiting to hear back from Geico, Also told my car is finishing up. Hopeful to hear back. Did. Lisa said it would be ready by 4:30pm. After returning rental, went to pick it up. Arrived and it was waiting in the parking lot. Clean and ready to go. Greeted with Lisa. Ready to go. Signed away on all. Lisa was kind. Car looks Great! Definitely a bit of trouble, but I'm glad it done and looks good. A long process too! If you go, be prepared to wait a while. I appreciated the kindness, but it was a process. Wish them luck with all they are going through and hopefully learning and getting better!

Jessie, Ted (retired), and Charlie are the three gentlemen I have mostly worked with and they are intelligent, skilled, modest, and kind. They are also honest and demonstrate great integrity when it comes to the actual work. The list of what they have done for us, includes, the damaged rear bumper of a 2011 Prius, another hit rear end of a 2014 Volt, and very recently, the damaged front bumper of our 2018 Model 3. Renewal's workmanship, professionalism, and customer service are incredibly amazing, fair, and friendly. They don't pretend to be friendly and nice - they all are actually very nice people. Apart from these work, Jessie and the team have helped me numerous times when I needed assistance on my 2000 Insight. Often I needed to force them to charge me for their service! These sort of humans are becoming rare to find and almost extinct. I am attaching a picture of the bumper of the Tesla afterwards with impeccable paint job. [I will briefly mention my opposite experience with another 'Tesla-approved body shop' when I reached out for their help on fixing a sensor issue after the same parking lot accident recently. Tesla Service center recommended this shop for insurance-covered service. This place was upset that I had taken the car elsewhere for the body work. The front desk lady told me that they pay the insurance company to ensure customers are directed toward them! Well, after I was told that they would have to replace airbags, all sensors, and seat belts which won't be approved by the insurance company, I chose to have Tesla take care of it for $186. It's just one electronic module that senses a seated person on the seat. I guess this would have been too small a job for them, but they could have been upfront about it...] Be careful while choosing a body shop - all that glitters is not gold...

Chris, I continued to poin out other little things that I would like to fix... at my expense of course. Chris responded with "why don't you just buy a new truck!". First of all its my truck I decide what I fix on it and second why would YOU! The Repair shop deny the customer the service? Idk where this guy's head is? When the truck was finally finished I was unable to pick it up before they closed so they offered to drop it off. Great! Thank you! I was happy to finally have my baby home. I drove it to show my wife the finalized job and was pulled over for no brake lights while on way. I called them and they sent someone to reconnect the light harness...thanks a-lot guys So that should have been a red flag, but i decided to take my 2006 bmw 330i to redo the haze on the headlights as well since the headlights on the Silverado came out good. But, when I went to inspect the work on the headlights I noticed that there was cracks in the headlights from them over sanding them. The rep... a diff guy/maybe the owner Andy I believe his name was, said..."I would talk to Chris about this so he can give you some sort of discount" I called Chris...this seems like good cop bad cop to me! But Chris says "someone else did that, not us" he went over the charges and said it was something like 228$ for the work and they did not remove the headlights they just taped off the engine bay and sanded and shot the clear he said they had headlights removed I know he was lying because they would have to remove the whole bumper to remove the headlights in this model. Chris tells me he can get me a headlight 1,000$ I was like really? I vowed to never return took my car and have been living with the damages and defects on both of the vehicles!

I saw a used 2025 Jeep Rubicon X advertised for sale at an unusually low price. Very low mileage…read more As I was in the market for a replacement X I contacted a Sales Assistant who told me the vehicle had been well maintained and had no accidents. She sent me the Carfax which showed no maintenance in the past 1 year even though the odometer was just under 5,000 miles. At the least an oil change should have been done. The photos of the interior and exterior appeared to indicate the vehicles was in very good condition. However, I noticed the winch had been used and the winch rope was extended and tied off to the front hook. I also noticed the electronic winch cord was wrapped around the winch, a sloppy and unusual storage method for an electric winch controller. I suspected the winch had been used and wasn't fully retracted properly. Whether it was in good working was unknown. I reviewed the Carfax report and noticed unusual activity AFTER Toyota of Clovis purchased the vehicle including an "emissions system inspection" and a smog, which it passed. VERY unusual for a 1 year old vehicle with less than 5,000 miles. When I questioned the associate she said they check and service all used vehicles before being offered for sale. I questioned why they had NOT serviced the vehicle (oil change, etc) at 1 year but had instead smogged it and inspected the emissions. She had no answers. I suspected hidden undercarriage damage and requested photos. She agreed and provided them. I received 2 photos of the undercarriage with clearly visible scratches and a possibly bent support attachment for an armor plate. It was difficult to determine the precise damage from the 2 photos. I suspected the muffler, catalytic converter and possibly other portions of the exhaust system were damaged while the former owner was offroading. Clearly the Toyota dealer had done some repairs. I requested the repair work orders and parts receipts. I was told they would be sent. They never provided them. Several people from the dealership sent me emails and each time I confirmed I was awaiting the repair orders. Suddenly they ceased contacting me. Clearly they knew there was undercarriage damage which Toyota of Clovis had repaired. The damage was significant enough to require a smog test. However, they attempted to deceive me and YOU by citing a clear Carfax and going silent regarding the repairs. If this doesn't deter you from ever purchasing either a new or used vehicle you should have your head examined.
