So I got in a car accident... other driver at fault. other driver no insurance, no license, no registration. Officer still allowed him to go and drive off. I had to go thru the headache of dealing with insurance, repairs, car rental, doctor appointments and pain in my body. I called Fresno Body works at another location but they were not able to give me an estimate since they were packed. Due to my work schedule, it was a bit hard getting time off to take my car in. I ended up calling this location. Customer service was great and I was able to schedule an appointment the next day. I went thru this place after deciding not to go straight to Toyota because, they had lifetime warranty on the repairs that were made. If I took my car to Toyota they would have referred me to another body shop with out a warranty. When I arrived I was greeted and was asked to wait in the seating area and they were going to find an appraiser. After waiting a few minutes, I was greeted by Chris. I went out with him to my car while he was looking at the damage. He asked another employee for their opinion on how to fix a certain area. I felt confident and a little uneasy at the same time that Chris was going to be the one to fix my car. Confident because it seemed like he knew what he was talking about and he would ask for help or someone else's opinion if he didn't know what to do. I felt uneasy because I don't think he was a good listener. I would ask him a couple of questions and I felt like he went around my questions and not answering directly like he didn't know but wanted to give me some answer. He estimated my car would be in the shop for about 1 week. When I got home, I forgot to mention that one of the sensors wasn't coming on and I felt like my seat was leaning. I called the shop and the receptionist said she made a note and would let Chris know and he would call me back. I gave him 2 days and he didn't call me back. I called back and spoke to another receptionist (younger and rude) and asked if Chris got my note about my seat and sensor. Instead of her handing the phone to him, she took my concern and ask him and he told her that he will make a note to check it because he didn't know. I asked on the status of when the car will be ready only because I would have to make arrangements to return the rental and take time off of work. The receptionist said that Chris will call me back to give me a more estimated time. I didn't get a call back. She was very short with me and was cutting me off. One week and a day exactly I still did not get a call from Chris until right before closing time. . So I didn't know the status. Of course I'm at work so I missed the call. I get a message that my car will be ready by the next day. By the time I called back, they were closed. Because it is ready I had to return the rental or I would have to pay. I had to ask my husband to rearrange his schedule to help me drop off the rental and pick up my car before closing time the following day. Since I didn't provide enough notice to my employer I would have gotten a ding. Because my husband was limited on time he did not get to thoroughly check the vehicle. When I finally got home , my husband and I inspected the car. There's a scratch on my tint, the back window doesn't roll down, i would also hear a knocking noise when I back up or made a right turn and a bunch of sticky black stuff all over the inside and outside of my car door. Water and soap did not take it off. I'm sure something oil based would have. They also forgot to check my sensor and seat even after I called twice about it! I also heard this whistling noise like the seal was tight or wind was coming thru a crack. We had to take the car back for them to fix it. Because we picked it up on Friday and they are closed on the weekends I had to call in Monday to make an appointment for Tuesday. I asked if we can drop it off on Monday evening that way they would have all day to work on it on Tuesday. Unfortunately, they had to keep the car until Wednesday late afternoon because they found other things they had to fix. :/ so I was left without a car and I had to asked to be dropped off and picked up on Tuesday and Wednesday. They were able to fix the window, tint, sensor and I had to ask them to wipe off the black sticky stuff again. They were not able to fix the knocking sound and they asked me to take it to Toyota to check the seat and the knocking sound. They weren't able to fix the whistling sound either. I had to take my car to Toyota for the remainder of the issues. I felt so disappointed that my insurance is partnered with this company. Maybe there are some employees that are great but I didn't feel like mine was. This whole process was such a headache and such an inconvenience!

Moisture getting in because of misalignment of doors and old weather stripping that should have been replaced.

Took my vehicle November 2022. They had my vehicle until April 2023. Had to take it back 3 separate occasions after it supposedly was fixed. Doors were not aligned, insulation was missing, bolts missing, seat belt piece was broke along with other miscellaneous pieces that weren't broke to begin with. Do NOT take your car here. My car was in better shape going in then coming out. I was hit on my driver's side causing some significant damage but I could still shut my doors and have a complete seal. After these people working on my car, still to this day there is air getting in from the work that was done. You will need BAR (Bureau Of Automotive Repair) as they have many complaints filed against them. I had to file because of lack of doing the correct work and charging my insurance for things that were said to be done that were not. Be aware, be involved and do not trust this place. I have every single photo if you need proof of incompetent work, it is outrageous. Can't imagine other people having to deal with this, but unfortunately they have. Pictures posted are of when the car was supposedly "fixed" Headliner ripped, noticeable misalignment of doors ect. Anyone with half a brain can see that the car was not fixed. Had to take my car back 2 more times after these photos. Again, go elsewhere!

Wow, I love doing reviews on businesses that did absolutely everything right. This is one of those times, where good old-fashioned customer service is still alive. I needed some minor repair done to a panel on my car. I knew it was a simple job that was probably going to turn into something expensive. I didn't want to go to an auto body shop because I knew they would rake me over the coals from past experience but I took a chance with these guys and I honestly didn't think I was going to get the time of day because I had such a minor repair. I was greeted by a cheerful problem solving receptionist.Kristine that I explained I had no insurance claim but needed a panel removed and maybe some broken snaps replaced and she called one of the guys from the back whose name was Jeff. He proceeded to look at my car and asked if he could borrow it for a few moments to check it out. Within 10 minutes he came back and said that he had some of the missing snaps in the shop and if it was okay with me theyde just pop them in for me. Another 10 minutes and he came out and said it was all done. I asked him how much I owed and he said that it had taken very little time and effort and there was no charge. You just don't see this anymore. This is how customer service should be it isn't that I got anything for nothing so much as now I want to send them all the business I possibly can and will never take any of my cars anywhere else. All it takes is a little effort and a little care. Jeff is a sharp cookie who knows how to represent that business and if he isn't the owner he needs to get a raise because you don't want to lose this guy... Whoever hired these people made some very good choices. They have earned my business.

She sent a email containing estimates and notes stating to the insurance these exact issues she deemed were not related to the accident for example the abs and traction light had illuminated after being rear ended. when I called and inquired she denied everything regardless of emailed documentation when I told them I will pick up my vehicle it was returned with more my miles on it then when it was first dropped off It had 154,620 upon pick up it had 154,624 the truck still contained marks all over the from their inspection. The experience I had with this body shop was very unprofessional if a vehicle is sitting in the body shop and has not been taken apart or sent out anywhere how is it retuned with more miles then it had when it was towed to the shop but also how can you send emails claiming things are not related when you never sent the truck anywhere to be diagnosed the vehicle was dropped off 3/25/2026 at 8:00am I picked up the vehicle 3/26/2026 3:50 pm with my truck containing 4 extra miles on it how does that occur if a truck was just sitting at a shop and never went anywhere that's very suspicious activity if the vehicle never moved outside the shop

We are…read moreonly in the initial stages of dealing with this shop but so far employee communication with my daughter has been poor. Since she was overwhelmed by her encounter with them, I decided to call the shop myself. Upon speaking to two different employees I found the first conversation to be borderline incoherent which required me to ask the employee to stop speaking so quickly and to explain the contradictory statements she was making. The second employee, ( Amber) while more articulate, peppered statements at me with an almost adamant refusal to let me get a word or question in edgewise. Yes. I was finally able to by interrupting and repeating myself over and over. Personally, I find it highly irrational to sabotage what appears to be a relatively decent shop ( according to the reviews) with such bad customer service. Some points to remember: 1. Greeting customers by telling them they are probably at the wrong shop ( in site of the fact that they are at the shop the insurance carrier sent them to ) and speaking in a belittling tone to customers for not knowing the correct terminology is not a good start and shows an ineptitude in appropriate communication skills. ( yes I am talking to you dark haired lady) 2. People who are seeking services from an automotive shop do not understand the workings of your shop so as to not need more than a peppering of facts or outright incoherence. You need to slow down and effectively communicate whether or not you're in a hurry or are so bored with your employment that you just want to get through explanations quickly. ( just conjecture here.. but why exactly were you so rude? ) Breathe. Take time to not only speak. Listen. Watch your tone. No one likes to be spoken down to. Anything else comes off as overbearing, rude, and quite honestly somewhat suspect. 3. As someone who works with an at fault insurance carrier, be mindful that the person in front of you is already overwhelmed and may be experiencing processing difficulties due to the accident. There is no need to overwhelm them more than they already are. Remember, they are the victim here and probably don't want to have to talk to you about an estimate any more than you do. 4. Additionally, pressuring my daughter to sign papers by just giving her the last one to sign and " telling" her what is on the other pages after she has asked to see them all is unacceptable... ( anyone see a red flag here? ) Yes. You eventually let her see them. But seriously. What was up with that? I write this in the sincere hope that this shop will up their game and that this initial contact with them will not be indicative of the work they will do on our car. Come on... earn some stars. Update on customer service. After my experience I reached out to the local and home office via email to clarify that for obvious reasons I was not interested in being bulldozed once again on the phone. Feeling that communicating via email would be a more efficient way to secure bilateral rather than unilateral communication, I had hoped that this company would respond accordingly instead of continuing to call me and outnumber my daughter by having the rude employees present when the manager ( Daniel) brought up the subject when my daughter went to pick up the car. To once again clarify. I am willing to communicate about this issue via email and email alone. Amber, after info dumping on me even when I repeatedly attempted to ask for clarification ( I had to say the same word over and over even while you continued to rattle on) and then informing me that you told Stephanie all this, ( after I had just witnessed how difficult you made comprehension due to your speed) and then your shop calling me twice ( after I had emailed you that I was not going to give you the opportunity to talk over me again) is it any wonder that I didn't return your call? To be heard, you need to listen as well. Why don't you just chew on that awhile? I believe that the rude women at this shop owe both my daughter an apology . My daughter should not have been made to feel bad ( verge of tears) when she was already overwhelmed and in pain after the accident. Is this the kind of customer service that you are so proud of? Your shop could have and should have done much better. Kimberly
