I am writing on behalf of myself and my mother, a formal complaint against Caliber Collision located at 15833 Bear Valley Road, Hesperia, CA 92345 (Phone: 760-947-8158). Our concerns are: The shop initially quoted an 8-day repair time for extensive front-end damage. However, it has now been 75 days, and our vehicle is still not repaired. We were told twice that our vehicle was ready for pickup, only to find upon arrival that it wasn't ready. This has caused significant inconvenience and wasted time. The shop attempted to release the vehicle to us with a known airbag issue. They insisted that we drive the vehicle until the necessary part was ready, potentially putting our lives at risk. Despite my mother (primary vehicle owner) designating me as the main point of contact due to her advanced age, the shop refuses to communicate with me. This violates our right to designate a representative as per California law. We've noticed inconsistencies in the repair estimates provided by the shop. Due to this prolonged repair process and lack of transportation, I have lost my job, causing significant financial hardship. The attempt to release a vehicle with a known airbag malfunction is a severe violation of safety standards and ethical practices in the automotive repair industry. This action, along with the other issues, appears to violate several aspects of the Automotive Repair Act and consumer protection laws. We request a thorough investigation into Caliber Collision's practices, particularly their willingness to release a vehicle with known safety issues. This behavior not only violates repair standards but also potentially endangers lives. Our insurance company has paid $8,900 for the repairs. However, given the extended timeframe, safety violations, communication issues, and the impact on my employment, we believe additional compensation and corrective action are warranted. I had an outstanding experience with this body shop from beginning to end. After dealing with a slow and frustrating insurance process, working with this team was such a relief. They were patient, understanding, and truly went above and beyond to make everything as smooth as possible. Mauricio was the main person I worked with, and he was absolutely amazing. He was professional, communicative, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He handled the estimate, coordinated with the insurance company when they were slow to respond, and kept me updated every step of the way. I could tell he really cared about making sure everything was done right. Monique at the front desk was also wonderful. She was always kind, welcoming, and quick to answer any questions I had. Both of them made the entire experience feel easy and stress-free. The repairs were completed sooner than I expected, and when I picked up my car, it looked brand new. I am giving this business one star only because I couldn't rate them without it! They stole my convertible top off my Pontiac Solstice and put one on that is stained, doesn't fit right and made of canvas whereas mine was none of those. I was proud of how perfect my convertible top looked and how I took care of it. Its not hard when its a phantom top and not made of tent like material that fades and starts to appear worn. My top was not lumpy, it didnt leak when it rained, and it wasn't stained and looking like its ready to rip. This company did a terrible job on my car as I could go on with EVERYTHING that was wrong with my car after I picked it up and started noticing the awful work they did to my car. Maybe they let one of the new guys do the work, but you cant convince me they didnt know about the top that was changed out! When I look at my car, I should feel happiness and satisfaction when it comes to repair after an accident that was the other persons fault. But instead, I feel anger and betrayal and just all around pissed off because of what Caliber Collision did to a single woman just trying to get her car repaired! Thanks Caliber Collision! My car has been wrecked twice in 6 months. Sam was my Geico service writer. HE IS AMAZING. Both times my car was repaired on time and given back to me as if the accidents didn't even happen. I am a very picky person and I cannot say one negative thing about the service I received. There's always gotta be one thing wrong, right? Not with Sam. He handled everything to my greatest satisfaction. I have 6 cars and 3 kids. Needless to say, I have been to a lot of repair shops in this area. Always searching for good service. Well I have found a home with excellent service. The shop was clean and the staff were nice. They even give you water and popcorn. But the outstanding customer service I received by Sam was the main drive behind my 100% satisfaction. 2nd to none. He was extremely kind, professional and constantly keeping me informed of my car's progress. I didn't have to call him because he was already on top of it. In August of 2020, I had a major accident with my Dodge Ram 1500. I thought it was going to be a total loss, since it required a new frame. Caliber Collision communicated daily and made sure the vehicle was in perfect working condition before I picked it up. I would HIGHLY recommend Noa, he communicated daily with updates and was very helpful with any questions I had. He truly went out of his way and went above and beyond to make my experience seamless. When I found minor adjustments that were needed, Noa fixed them immediately at no extra cost. I met some of the mechanics and body repair workers as well and they were very friendly. Carlos, especially was helpful when informing me of the repair process. I would highly recommend Caliber Collision not only for their excellent quality and work, but for their customer service and great personable employees. I was devastated when I got into a "Bumper-Bender" with my new 2017 Chevy Traverse. Through my insurance, they referred me to this "Collision Shop", and let me tell you, I couldn't be more pleased and impressed with the work that they did! Not only was it ascetically pleasing visit but the shop smelled good too...lol.I couldn't be more pleased with the staff... A "5" Stars for that alone. They kept me up to date (emails & word of mouth **phone calls)** with all the daily work that they had done, and care in removing my bumper, replacing it and all the details that they did after it was all finished. Along with my issue, they (along with my insurance company **GEICO** btw, that's another review another time and place) took care of a getting me a rental SUV that met me at the Collision shop so I didn't have to go anywhere to do that. The quoted price I received at Caliber Collision was far less in comparison to the other estimates. Service Adviser Ms Amanda Prado was extremely helpful; she was friendly, professional and informative during her review and estimation of my truck's damage. The repairs to my truck were completed expeditiously and to a level of perfection. I have the greatest appreciation with the employees at Caliber Collision for their prompt and professional services. I called Caliber Collison this morning to see if they would put on a piece of molding for me and spoke to Danny he was very pleasant and said of course just bring your car in. So I did I was expecting to pay for them to put it on but once they finished Danny again greeted me me with a business card and said thank you for coming in their will be no charge today. I was like wow how very kind. I will be going to them for any kind of work I need done to my car. Kind honest friendly staff all of the them that I had met this morning. Best service. When I arrived my service manager Mauricio Escalon explained everything I need to know and addressed all my questions and concerns he was very perfessional and really nice guy. I was running late to pick up my vehicle and my General Manager Cuu Thi even stayed opened late so I could pick up my vehicle cant say enough about him. When I arrived to pick up my truck Brittany explained all my paperwork and told me about the lifetime warranty to all the work done very nice lady. Man these guys are great. Took my car in on a Monday morning and was advised my car would take 4 to 5 days but within 48 hours they were calling me to come get it, it was done. When I seen the work done I was amazed, it was so perfect. All the staff I worked with were some awesome people. You guys really know customer service. This is a late review but this review is for the estimator Cuu. He helped me get my Mercedes' fixed in February and made the process so much easier. But what made the experience special, is when Cuu went above and beyond by fixing my wind shield fluid tank after already being done with the service and he made it right. He was even willing to get me a complimentary rental car when it was going to take longer than estimated. I took my truck in here to get fixed after seeing a good amount of reviews on here. Walked in, very clean, offered water coffee ect. Secretary was exceptionally nice. Noe, was the one working with me to get my truck fixed, he was extremely nice and excellent customer service. Always answered any questions. He really hooked me up. Sam is the best! I went to the shop because my insurance was requesting an adjuster to see if my car issue was covered by my policy. Upon inspection, it was not covered. Sam was amazing and still really helpful. He pulled my passenger window, which had fallen into the door, back into position so that I could return my rental. He has already ordered the replacement part and the repair will be super quick. I have a few other issues on my car and I know where I am going to come to fix them. read more

The team at Caliber Collision on Bear Valley is second to nobody. My conversation starts with a beautiful receptionist/secretary named Liz. From her I was introduced to Noa. He's the estimater. I had a decent door ding that had a pretty hard crease in the ding. They did a perfect job with the paint match, and the door ding is history. This is the second time I brought them my car. Even with the parts hard to get they had it completed within a week and I couldn't be more happy with the results!
