After my son's accident, GEICO initially classified our vehicle as a total loss based on photos alone. The car never left my driveway, was never physically inspected, and the salvage title process had already started. Something about that didn't sit right with me, so I decided to get another opinion. From the very beginning, Ana was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. She took the time to explain the process and what options were available to me. Shortly after, Luis, the owner, personally called me. He was straightforward, honest, and didn't try to sell me on anything. He simply explained the situation, gave me realistic expectations, and even shared valuable advice on how to handle insurance claims in the future. After a complete teardown and inspection, Doug's Auto Body determined the vehicle was actually repairable. As a result, GEICO had to reverse the total loss determination and stop the salvage title process. My 2008 Nissan Titan was suffering from a common Nissan product problem concerning the exterior paint, that is, very thin clear coat, from the factory. I accidentally backed into my Aunts 2018 Kia Sportage. It wasn't anything major but wanted to get it fixed without any insurance getting involved I went around a half a dozen places and everyone wanted to charge me much more than Doug's. I accidentally hit my coworkers car and called a few places to get an estimate. Out of all places I called, dougs autobody was the only place to respond to my email and give me a quote fast. I took my daughters car,on Insurence claim has bad quarter panel damage and my daughter has a high deductible Luis the owner and his wife partner. Spoke to insurance company about having panel replaced were Geico only wanted him to pull dent out and plaster bon-do on quarter. We're there is no legit auto body shop that would just do that. He let geico no panel needs to be replaced in order, for car to be done right. Long story short his honesty and excellent customer service will get my daughters car done right. This place is amazing and I will continue to come back for future work to my car. My car was involved in a collision that my insurance wouldn't cover and the full repairs were going to be almost $4,000!!! In this instance I just couldn't see myself paying so much for my car since I just paid it off and I didn't want to wipe out my funds. So after a month of having no car I took it to Luis (the owner) and told him my situation. He was so kind and very good about working around my budget so that at minimum my car would be fixed in the most needed areas and I would be able to drive it again. My car was ready in less than 4 days!
