My paperwork envelope said to follow up with any issues on Calibercollisionreviews.com which linked me here unfortunately. I never thought I'd publicly yelp a business complaining, but I definitely need to bring some issues up that weren't great about my recent experience so here I am. Anyways, I had some wheels stolen off my car so Geico had you replace two wheels and tires with their sensors. It took two weeks to get completed which is surprising considering my paperwork says the parts were sourced from Riverside and local LA area, but it is what it is. When I called to get an update, Jamil mentioned Geico preferring aftermarket parts ordered first and possible delays from re-ordering OEM later on, etc. I get it. It's not fun. My main issues with my service didn't involve Geico though. Jamil reassured me of course since two new wheels and tires were being replaced they would be rotated so the treads were even. Common sense for safe driving and alignment in general. Since my wheels were stolen I asked if wheels locks were being put on and he said yes. They're cheap I know, but if work is being done it's good to know that's being taken care of. Another week later I got a text Friday morning saying my car was done. Dope. The adjuster/inspector said 2pm pickup is fine. I had to arrange for a ride from North Hollywood on my lunch break and I got there at 230pm. I was told by the adjuster/inspector to take a seat and they'll grab my paperwork and get me checked out in a moment. Other than confirming my name, I sat there for 25-30 mins (I promise I'm not just disgruntled and exaggerating lol) with the front desk person and claims person making calls without a word spoken to me. No other customers were there or coming in either so it was odd. Is my car actually ready? Did they somehow forget I'm sitting here? Lol half an hour seems like a long time to wait for a car that was ready to be picked up hours ago when I got my text. A mechanic came in eventually and talked with the adjuster/inspector and I heard "Corolla? Yea, here's here--no, it still needs to be scanned out" or something along those lines. I wasn't eavesdropping either lol it was just literally that quiet in the lobby for half an hour. I finally got checked out a few minutes later, got my keys and the tires were not rotated. When I spoke with Jamil, I thought double checking about that was probably unnecessary since again it's pretty common knowledge and they're knowledgable mechanics so even after being told "of course" it wasn't done. Very odd. No wheel locks were put on either. I was told by the adjuster/inspector then that Geico wouldn't typically cover those. That's fine, but that's not what I was told otherwise I would've happily just paid you or even brought you them myself for you to put on quickly for me if that was possible. The mechanic said if I have a few minutes he can quickly rotate them for me. Yes, please. :) He mentioned something about the tire sensors possibly not being synced up after rotating the tires since he test drove my car earlier that morning after initially putting the new wheels and tires on the first time. He didn't seem concerned about safety so I wasn't concerned. If anything, I assumed my tire pressure light might come on and then just turn off soon enough since that happens with tire pressure sensors sometimes after refilling tires. I drove my car home only about 5 miles. The next day, today, I drove it about 30 miles and while on the freeway my car alerted me "Tire Pressure Warning System Malfunction" so I got off the freeway to go to a gas station to turn my car off and google if I should be concerned. When I restarted my car, now the check engine light and alert sound also came on, as well as an alert for "Front-Drive Malfunction." I'm taking it in to Toyota ASAP on Monday so I hope it's a simple reset cause after dropping $500 on my deductible and trusting your service and reputation, I again don't have a car to use now. Even if the chances are small, I can't risk unsafely driving it or causing possible further issues while crossing my fingers for those lights and alerts to possibly disappear. What gives? What's the deal? Like I said, I would've preferred to not publicly post all of this just to share my feedback with whoever is in authority there, but it's been a rough couple weeks without my car while waiting to just get two wheels, tires and sensors put on. So on top of that, not even rotating them for me, no wheel locks put on, an odd/poor pickup customer service experience and now a "malfunctioning" car? I didn't even get my front bumper put into place properly that was loose after being replaced by Caliber (Hollywood location) last year cause it was "pre-existing damage."This all really sucks. read more

Repair shop completed the job in a timely manner. Upon returning my car, the General Manager of this establishment completely wasted my time instead of simply telling me that during install of one of the parts cosmetics from the tools had occurred. He proceeds to show me photos of it and tells me that they belong to the other side of my car from a previous repair from another shop and that I should go check it out. Obviously I was concerned and I was sent back and forth when I seemed out the help. I reached back out to the GM for help and became dismissive. Went to the dealership who confirmed the cosmetic damages were done on the side this repair shop had worked on. I was told there was nothing to worry about and that it happens from wear and tear and in this case from the install. Don't understand why Paul the General Manager couldn't be upfront about it and put my worries at ease himself. Instead he utterly lied that he dealt with me when I reached out to the insurance to mediate, had to bring up specifics for him to admit he dealt with me. What I learned is only way the "life time warranty" caliber offers will cover you if you bring your car back is if you don't use your car at all because if not they will use every excuse in the book to say damages are caused from driving your car so it isn't covered anymore. Wasted 2 months of phone calls and wasting my days off to take my car to places and eventually be told by my dealership that I had nothing to be concerned with and that the shop should have just told me that from the beginning instead of sending me to check the issues out. Not to say money I wasted on the services and gas to find this out. read more

The service initially was strong and everything seemed to be handled. After getting the car back, I noticed new sounds and a new vibration when hitting the gas pedal. Took the car back in as the repairs "fully guaranteed" and Caliber said the sounds were not normal. They made more repairs and said they fixed the problem. When I went back to the dealer, they gave about 4 excuses for not fixing the problem and I got the car back to hear the same noises. I took the car to another dealer and they identified there were indeed more accident related issues. My main problem with Caliber was their lack of communication with my insurance company and failure to submit correct paperwork to my insurance. They stretched the timeline out and made the whole repair process last around 4 months. I'd advise choosing a different place for repairs. read more

Originally, I was going to give two stars due to the numerous issues I experienced when my car was being serviced/fixed at this location. It too long for my car to be fixed (nearly two months) and communication wasn't great with updates on when completion would be done. Granted, the shop was being transitioned into Caliber Collision during the time my car was being repaired. At the end, the manager did accommodate and addressed the issues I had.
