My Mercedes 350 GLK was repaired for a tailgate replacement in April 2025. The work was done in a timely and professional manner my car was detailed beautifully! So 4 months later as I cleaned out the back I realized the cargo mat was not there. I made a call to Caliber and Cameron and explained the situation. He promptly looked for the mat in the body shop and let me know it was there. He also explained that since they had it last he would replace it and within a week the same cargo mat was ordered and received. November 2, 2023 I am writing to you to share my extremely negative experience several weeks ago with your company. I had a car accident on October 2, 2023. Immediately, I had my car towed to Caliber Collision at 2018 Taylor Road in Roseville, CA, for an estimate for repair. Unfortunately for me when my accident occurred, I had recently removed comprehensive and collision insurance from my ten-year-old Mini Cooper Clubman. Thus, I decided to pay out-of-pocket for this repair. I was immediately told by Office Manager, Chelsi Brosh, that to pursue repair I would need to pay for the preliminary visual estimate upfront, and that my final estimate may be within a range of probably 10% more than the visual estimate. I agreed to this arrangement though I thought it odd to request payment upfront. So, on 10/3/23, I was given an estimate from Cooper Michelis the technician with whom I would then communicate and interface. My visual estimate was $7,585.66. Certainly, I experienced a bit of sticker shock. Yet, I trusted the estimate and approved payment. A few days later, Cooper Michelis provided his final estimate, while also sharing that I had sustained extensive undercarriage damage which doubled my estimate to $15,464.18. Outraged, I informed him that for the price of the new estimate, "I can go and buy a new car!" Thus, skeptical of the information provided to me by Cooper Michelis, I showed up unannounced at Caliber Collision to retrieve items from my car and to take pictures of my "disassembled" vehicle. When I arrived, two female front desk staff looked quite surprised and began to whisper to each other. I'm very intuitive and perceived a bit of nervousness when I stated that I needed to see my car and retrieve items. It took a while before they allowed me to go back to the service area. Cooper Michelis escorted me back to the area where my car was housed and stood by watching me as I took photos. At one point, he pointed to an alleged "dent" in the engine frame and said that area took a "hard hit" as if trying to convince me of the merits of the second estimate he provided. I left shortly thereafter and explained that I would make a decision related to how I wished to proceed with my car. The following day, I returned to Caliber Collision, having arranged for a tow service to retrieve my vehicle so that I could take it to another collision shop for a second opinion. I also instructed the front office staff to reverse the charges to my credit card. Additionally, as I waited for my vehicle to be readied for tow, another worker (male) approached me and sheepishly asked me what I intended to do with my car. I thought the query was strange and quite inappropriate. What I intended to do was none of his business! Yet, I informed this person that I would get a second opinion. This person then went so far as to ask me, "What collision shop are you planning to take your car to?" Red flag again! It became clear to me that because an insurance company and external adjuster were not involved in my vehicle situation, this gave the scam artists and collusionists at this Caliber Collision shop the gall and audacity to provide me with an inflated and egregious estimate for repair. These people decided to act in a nefarious and egregious manner. I did receive an estimate from another collision repair shop along with a detailed itemization of parts and labor that did not equate to what I received from Caliber Collision. In sum, this whole experience was unethical, unprofessional, and I am sure illegal. Not only does it merit an audit of prior service and estimates for cash-paying customers, but this experience also demands that both the Corporate office of Caliber Collision as well as the Bureau of Automotive Repair are made aware of the scam practice that certainly is taking place at this Caliber Collision location. I will happily make sure these aforementioned entities are made aware of these issues! read more

I asked Caliber to quote a small job; damage to a portion of the front bumper and scratched rear bumper of my Lexus suv. They were five times more expensive and wanted several days extra to do the same job as Rocklin Collision. read more

Back in December of 2022, right before Christmas, I was in an accident by my home. The driver side front wheel area had been crunched and the tire was flat, undriveable. My insurance agent suggested Caliber. Even though it was the holiday and I was very stressed from the accident and towing (fairly new to the area and this was my 1st accident here)- Caliber did everything to lower my stress by being in constant contact w/me about where my vehicle was being stored, how to get it (Progressive took care of towing it to Caliber) and when I could come in to talk to them. They got my car finished in a decent timeframe w/the holidays and all. I am very happy w/their work ethic and the way my car turned out. There were some grease marks here and there on upholstery, but that could've been from the tow truck drivers (most likely). Everything works beautifully and they even got me a new tire to replace the flattened one!! If anyone I know needs body work, I'll be referring them here!! read more

we were sent to caliber collision through our insurance company USAA. Our trunk had been broken into and we needed them to replace the window and readjust the trunk so it would stop leaking. They fixed the leak to the trunk and were paid for the work done but told USAA they did not believe the trunk was the reason our electrical, which is underneath the trunk in BMWs was bad. They told us the sunroof was also leaking and that we needed to pay them $5000 out-of-pocket to fix the sunroof. . It rained for two days after we got our car back and we told them there was no leak but because they said our sunroof was leaking USAA would not cover the electrical so they said come back in and we will check. They asked my husband and I to wait inside while they checked to see about the leak. My husband wanted to check to see what they were doing and walked outside and watched them point blank spraying the seal of our sunroof with a pressure washer. What professional repair shop would ever take a pressure washer (3000 pounds of water pressure) to the rubber seal of a sunroof. you take a hose and you spray the sunroof with some water to see if it leaks you don't destroy the rubber seal with a pressure washer, and then spray it with a hose. caliber collision is an unprofessional repair shop. Looking to make a buck. I recommend you don't ever use this shop for any type of repairs and if you have insurance that uses them request them to send you somewhere else you may end up, leaving with more damage than you went in with. read more

I took my Highlander in on a Tuesday after being hit the night before. I expressed to Hunter that I did not feel my vehicle was safe to drive as I had duct taped some of the pieces back together. Hunter said that was not a problem and helped me express this to USAA. He was able to get me into a rental that day! I appreciated the time Hunter spent going over the services he felt were necessary to return my car to the way it looked before the accident. Hunter continued to keep me updated throughout the entire time my car was in your shop. He called and emailed to let me know what steps they were on in the process. When I went to pick up my car, Hunter was on vacation, but several others stepped up to help me finalize paperwork. They went over the car with me and showed me everything that was done. My parents were involved in an accident today so we brought the car here. We were greeted by "Cheryl," the receptionist at the counter, who first asked if we had an appt. No, the accident had just happened and although the side airbags had deployed my dad was able to drive it to CC. Cheryl was not very happy we were there and seemed condescending when having to repeat things to my dad, who is hard of hearing and was shook up a bit after the accident. Went in to get a fender bender dent fixed on the rear side of my 2020 Porsche. This car is my "proud me" car. Meaning, I worked very hard to get this car. I recently moved into a new place and it is on the smaller end of a 2 car garage and I am still getting use to getting in and out of the garage space. The dent happened because I miss calculated the space between the back of the car and the edge of the garage door. But the customer service at this place was great. Particularly the condition I got my car back in. Interiorly and exteriorly was better than any high priced car wash I have paid for. And this one was complimentary! I had even gone so far as to call and ask them where they detail the car (it looked that good) but they said it was the employees who washed and vacuum inside... now if only the high priced car wash places could do this good of a job.. kidding.. 10/10, 2018 Taylor street caliber collision thank you!! I was at the start of a 2 week visit to Roseville to assist my mother-in-law's transition from skilled nursing back to assisted living. In the middle of the first night at the hotel the catalytic converter was stolen from under my Honda Element, sitting right in front of the hotel. My insurance allowed me to pick Caliber Collision just down the street from the hotel as the repair facility. I called them the next morning and was told I would have to wait 3 days to even talk to the adjuster because of their workload. Instead, I walked in with my paperwork, and the adjuster took a couple of minutes to figure out what I needed--an immediately ordered the parts that were highly likely to be on back order from a local dealer. Long and short of it, Caliber took the car in on the appointed day and had it out at the end of the following day--allowing me to get on with my family responsibilities. The adjuster/Service Advisor, Savannah, could not have been more professional--or engaged in the process. Likewise for the staff in the public-facing reception/intake area. I wanted to get an estimate for auto repair due to an accident. I went to Caliber Collision on Taylor Road in Roseville. Adam, the Service Advisor asked me to lift the hood. Adam pointed out two places, not apparent by just viewing the outside damage, that were most likely additional damage, due to the way the car was hit. One place there was a crimp in the frame above the light, and the other where the dent covered the impact bar, in addition it moved the hood of the car. The length to which Adam went to explain the damage and possible options really impressed me. Then, I was given written estimates least expensive to most expensive fixes -bringing the car back to its pre accident condition. I was impressed with Adam's professional explanations and thoroughness that seemed to leave nothing unanswered.
