I have unfortunately had to make use of the services at Caliber 4 times over the last 6 or 7 years. Every single time I have had a 5 star experience. Great service, excellent quality work and positive, proactive comms. This last time I was finishing work started at a Caliber Collision in Colorado Springs, which you would think would be inviting complications, but no, easy comms and seamless coordination between both the Colorado Springs location and this one on Image in Spartanburg. Clayton was a total pro and kept me in the loop through the whole process getting the work completed and the billing worked out between the 2 branches. I would never dream of taking my car to any other company. Caliber is rock solid and Clayton and crew here at this location were great representatives of the Caliber brand. read more

After getting 4 new brakes at Brakes4less, 3hrs later while driving I85 the brakes fell out, very lucky there was no wreck. It got towed, fixed, than my brakes fell out again 24hrs later, still lucky and no wreck.....than it happened again the 3rd time, which was a wreck. That is when my car ended up here at Caliber. Over 2 months later. I get my car back from here. First thing I noticed was a buff scratch on my drivers side door. Second thing, which I told them plus insurance about the brakes. This place never even test drove it nor bothered to even check it before getting my car back. Forth problem is that night after getting it back, I noticed my passenger headlight was out, that's the area they supposedly fixed. When I took the car back, the headlight was working but now the fog light is out. All they did was replace the fig light with another light that don't even match. 5th problem.....it's been less than 2 months, buff scratch still noticeable and the area they replaced is now falling apart. This is the third time I've used Caliber (formerly Image) Collision and the process, from scheduling to completion was seamless and efficient. In addition to their excellent repair and customer services, in the middle of COVID 19, they were very efficient at meeting/exceeding necessary guidelines. My only request would be that when the left headlight was replaced, they would have called to offer cleaning the right one so the clarity matched. The difference looked awful, but quickly improved with help of my neighbor and his headlight cleaner. Super simple, just wish it was done by the pros while it was in the shop. read more

We used to use Image all the time and they were awesome. Now it is Caliber; this place is not the same. They took forever to replace my mom's side mirror. Told her it should be in by noon the next day, so she took her car to leave it over overnight, thinking they would knock it out the next day. No. They told her the mirror did not come in and they would call her. Two weeks later, they finally say the mirror was in and she needed to make an appointment to leave it. A week later. When I went to pick it up for her, the tape was still on the mirror from where they painted it, the paperwork was still stuck to the windshield (that they were supposed to remove once complete), and there was some green paint pen on the car door. The guy joked and said they must have been in a hurry to go fishing since it wasn't really ready yet... Just frustrating all the way around. Will not be back. read more

There is need for improvement to Caliber's communication between the customer and service advisor. I had to call several times and felt like I was chasing down information. Seth Breeden was truly the saving grace on this review. He is attentive to his customers needs and does all he can to elevate Caliber to the status it once held when it was called Image Collision. I appreciate the efforts that he made...hopefully some of that will rub off on others who work with him. read more

Not a good experience at all. They had my car from August 15 to Sept 1. Went to pick it up & it was covered in scratches and the hood had dead bugs all over it.... They didn't even wash it. Told them unacceptable, fix it. Fast forward to Sept 13, tell me it's really ready this time. Go back again body looks a lot better, scratches gone bugs gone, interior cleaned. Got in & my Cadillac Cue system is dead. It was working on Sept 1, as I had wiring damage and made sure it worked. Cue controls radio, hvac, backup camera, nav system, basically everything. Nope not taking it like this Got it back Sep 14, everything finally working & looking ok, not perfect but ok. A month to fix my car that wasn't that badly damaged to begin with. I had to have my bumper replaced after a wreak. Caliber was fast and efficient. Drop off and pick were quick and easy. All the employees were nice and professional and the work is very well done. Will definitely use them again in the future. read more

AVOID! Came here to get a quote on my car and all they needed to do was email it to my adjuster for insurance to approve it... first I schedule an appointment over a week out and then waited two more weeks for them to email it to her, the person that did the quote never was available and we both (myself and adjuster) tried to contact them to simply email it over several times. Someone backed into my car that had Geico insurance. Looks like GEICO is this place Bread and Butter. Had to have the hood replaced and painted. When I picked the car up it looked great. After driving the car for about 45 days I noticed little chips in the hood. Took it back and they said oh it's rock chips and not covered under warranty, but we can fix it for just the price of labor and put a clear coat on the front most of the hood to prevent this. A mere 344.00, not a lot of money I agree,but I have driven this car for 3 years on the same roads and the same routes with no "rock chip" issues until they did work on it. I am posting pictures before the car went in with 3 years of no rock chips and a picture of the car after 45 days of A Caliber Collision repair. Same roads driven everyday for 3 years verses same roads driven 45 days. Don't go here. Especially if you have a higher end car because they obviously don't use higher end products. read more

My insurance referred me to this place to have a tailgate replaced. On February 2, I was told it would be about a week and they would give me a call. After 2 1/2 weeks I received no call! I emailed the rep assigned to me since they would never return my phone call. She responded 2 days later saying my tailgate was ready. When they tried to fit it it didn't fit. They told me they would try again to find a tailgate for me. It is now April 14th and I have yet to hear back from them. Thankfully I tried a local body shop and within 2 1/2 weeks they accepted my claim and had a tailgate completely replaced. read more

My car had severe hail damage and Caliber Collision was my body shop of choice. They did an excellent job and they also kept me posted on everything that was going on. Jonathan Peeler was absolutely amazing. He called me about every three or four days just to let me know the status of the repair. He was super nice and very fun to talk to, as well as being very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond what you would expect from a company. They made three attempts at repairing my vehicle and finally I took it to another shop. Two attempts to pick-up resulted in over a 45 minute wait even after they called and said the vehicle was ready. I was ignored by customer service for about a half hour each time i walked in. I never met my claims adjusted because he had always had to leave early for the day each time I tried to. The manager I talked to was nice and kept promising to make i right but never did. read more

Terrible. Work was substandard upon pickup. Paint flacking off of new parts and fender panel was not aligned properly. Told me to take the truck and they would order new parts and call me when they were ready for installation. Was about halfway home when wheel started to smoke (nothing was wrong with the wheel) and breaks went out. Had to have truck towed home once they stated it was complete???? Tried calling but no one answered. Did not complete work and made the truck none drivable. BEWARE!! read more

I just had to write this review as I was so impressed by the friendliness, kindness and empathy we received from the staff. We are from California and could not continue our trip home until our car was fixed. The folks there went out of their way to get us back on the road by finding a replacement door and placing it SO quickly...they even cleaned up the other areas on the car that were marred from the accident so that even though the dents were still there (we didn't want them fixed yet), the car looked much better. First l, let me say...The customer service here is excellent. I am always greeted with a smile and the staff is so friendly! I've taken my car here twice in six months (because of two different unfortunate accidents. Luckily, everything was repairable. However, both times I've come here and had them work on my car there were things that were not repaired that were clearly needing repairs, and I had gone over everything that was needing done. I can understand lack of communication maybe one time, but the second time gave me some concern. They did a beautiful job on my car, it was just disappointing having to leave my car with them when I was excited to have the car returned to me. I just think more communication needs to be done between the managers and workers on what needs to be done in order to get the repairs done completely as well as done correctly. I am not saying it is a terrible place to get a car done. However, there are things that can be done to improve the quality of service when it comes to car repairs. As for customer service, that is why I gave it 4 stars. I do appreciate all of the work done by Steven Hill however. He did a lot of work on the second repair, and it turned out fantastic. If it wasn't for him nothing would have been done correctly. Thank you to everyone for their time! read more

This place is seriously awesome and you can't get better service then what I received. I showed up Monday in need of getting my car bumper fixed from a hit and run incident and needed it done ASAP because I'm moving to another state in two days. Lexi was so helpful and called people to get my parts shipped for next day even though it was after the cut off time. I was expecting my car two days later, but they called me saying they completed it in just 1 day! My car was cleaned vaccumed and all shiny for me that next afternoon. Lexi was so kind and competent, and so was all the staff at caliber. I HIGHLY recommend this body shop. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else. read more

After being hit by an uninsured motorist. I was not looking forward to getting my truck repaired. After visiting Caliber Collision the staff there were easy to deal with. It made me feel at ease. HEather was a top notch staff member and called me after every step my truck went thru. She made the visit really enjoyable. The quality of the paint was immaculate. Had an accident and had my car towed directly to Caliber Collision. Originally they told us (my significant other and I) that they would be able to fix the car. Mind you this was not the first time we used their services. Weeks go by and eventually they claim the car to be a total loss. Well when its time to release the car they do it against our will and extremely valuable items were removed. We filed a claim and an email with and itemized list of items taken and were promised we wouldnbe reimbursed. The representative, Russell Ulmer, explicitly stated an amount to be paid and a date that the check should arrive (3-4 weeks). At this time they stated they were at fault and they would fix it. Fast forward a month later and we are informed we will NOT be reimbursed due to some bogus agreement they suddenly 'found' that excused them from liability. The reason personal items were not taken out of the car is because we did not know the car was totaled until weeks afterward. They literally robbed us and brushed us off. Do not use their services. We are in the process of getting a lawyer now and getting the situation rectified. They are liars and cheats. read more

if i could i wouldn't give them any stars. my experience with caliber collision was frustrating at best. i had to return my vehicle to them twice for the problem not being fixed the first time. when speaking to the employees i was handled with passive aggressiveness and non accountability. they claimed that the problem that i pick my car up with (but did not bring my car to them with) was my fault, i'm talking to scratched rims and bumpers. the right hand does not talk the left hand which cause confusion. when i called corporate to get some help with the situation their only response was that i should have not picked my car up if it wasn't done right even though their company called me to tell me my car was ready. read more
