Tina has been the owner since 2020 and she's continued to uphold the spirit of this landmark barber shop. She was very friendly and conversational! At first it's always awkward when I walk in to a new barbershop I've never been to, however once we got to talking I felt right at home! Tina provided a little history on the shop, I found out it's been in LE since the 1940's, wow! The shop had a classic feel but didn't seem like a stereotypical barbershop, it had unique features like a first responder wall full of patches and equipment. I also noticed some eccentric decor like a horse head sticking out of a seat. There's a couple of benches for visitors inside, however be aware that the waiting area is small and limited. Don't be surprised if you have to wait outside if it gets packed! I asked for a standard fade to evaluate the quality of the haircut I would get, I was very satisfied! The haircut was even, I didn't spot any mistakes. My haircut was about $25, with a tip it came out to $30 and some change. I'm so happy that this shop accepts credit cards and has TAP! I was so tired of all these other shops in the area asking for cash only! My visit was very convenient, I didn't have to wait at all! Tina sat me down and went to work! Parking was full outside due to other businesses so you might have to park a block down the street. Note: The shop is open 7 days a week!

The guys were super friendly and know what they're doing. They took the time to talk to my nine year old during the haircut. My experience of the typical Barbie shops has been a a tab bit disconnected since the guys either only chat with one another or other make customers. Not these guys!
