Such a shame the rating I have to give this business due to the fact this fabulous fast food restaurant has an awful employee. Her name is Maria. She is not like the other gals that are so friendly and helpful. Upon checking our drive through bag, I noticed there was barely any rice in our combination plates. I asked Maria if there was any way the cooks could put a bit more in them and she responded in a very unprofessional, unfriendly, un-kind, un-compassionate manner, the opposite of the definition of customer service. I'm not sure why the owner would even keep this gal around. Due to her unprofessionalism, this business' Yelp ratings will be dropping. THE BEST FISH TACOS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a big fan of this place. I visit twice a week if not more. I have loved every menu item I have tried. The Fish Tacos are astounding! Sometimes I order too many but they are so amazing. You definitely have to try it. I always get grilled fish with lime and and the hottest salsa they have. I went to get food tonight because I have been here before, and the food is usually good even though they have forgotten food off my order multiple time, I never bitch about it. Well I went tonight, and ordered as usual and asked for extra salsa. They made a huge deal about giving me extra salsa even though I spent 40.00 dollars. Is the extra salsa coming out of the employees checks or something???? The guy went and got his shift leader because I wanted extra salsa and she even argued with me about the extra salsa. I sat there for another 5 minutes just arguing with these disrespectful jerks about some extra salsa. I enjoy the food here and I enjoy the salsa that is specific for the brand. I didn't know it was such a huge deal to give me extra salsa for my 49.00$ meal but apparently it is, even management will argue with you about it. Not to mention I didn't get limes with my meal, but o well. How low do you have to stoop to argue with your valued consistent guest about extra salsa. AWESOME BURRITOS! I have eaten at just about every Aldaburtos, El Forrestaro, and Carolinas from Carmichael to North Highlands and this place is by far the best burrito shop! The grilled chicken is what makes it! So far I've only tried the grilled chicken and the shrimp but the quality of the ingredients for the same price as a burrito from the above mentioned makes it worth your while. I will admit the burritos are slightly smaller, but honestly, the quality of the ingredients makes up for it. I drive all the way from Antelope and pass more than four different burrito options to get to this place. It's worth it and the drive thru is open 24 hours! Wow! This place was great! We came here recently for a quick breakfast meal and I was not disappointed! We both ordered a breakfast style burrito- it comes with scrambled eggs mixed in with crispy bacon, melting cheese, and potato pieces. I suggest asking to add guacamole to it. I got it without potato and it was still filling! The amount was huge. We both could only eat half. And the price was super affordable! I was recommended this place and I can see why- the customer service was great and the food is excellent. They are open 24 hours! The drive thru is always available. And there is indoor and outdoor seating. The only warning is the location is great( right in the center of Carmichael), but it's in the middle of busier intersections- literally this restaurant is The median. Best tacos ANYWHERE! I wish I knew how they got their shells so crispy without being hard. I usually prefer the ground beef over shredded, but theirs is really tasty. Went here tonight out of curiousity. Ordered mini tacos carnitas , crispy tacos shredded beef (half price on Sunday's) and a #25 steak breakfast burrito. I read reviews before going but I've had it bookmarked for a while and have passed by a few times, so I figured why not. Like other reviewers have stated the meat is kinda bland. Unlike their competitors whom will remain nameless and have over salty, dried and sometimes questionable meat. The meat itself was very soft and fresh but had no flavor. Crispy taco was a tad greasy but not drowning in it. Shredded beef was boring, it had very little cheese and lots of fresh lettuce. With a bit of green salsa it had some good flavor. Carnitas mini tacos were loaded with meat and onions tortillas were really fresh as well as the meat but again the meat had no flavor. The burrito was nice and hot, very cheesy, good meat, potato and egg ratio. Again with the salsas red and green this time it was good. The service was fast, prices are good, I will probably try it again but I'm hoping they put a little flavor in their meats. read more

Ordered the carnitas chimichanga through DoorDash yesterday. I don't know what I got. It wasn't a chimichanga... more like a big soggy burrito with enchilada sauce. The food here is SPECTACULAR!!!! It tastes INCREDIBLY fresh and light and the prices are awesome for the amount of food that they give you! I don't get that "fatty" feeling I usually do when eating Mexican food and their Horchata is probably the best Horchata I have ever had!!! The facility it SUPER clean and shiny and the staff is very friendly. I honestly can't believe there are 2 bad reviews on this place. I can only assume it was in their first week and the restaurant was still getting through their growing pains... but they've definitely got their sh** together now for sure! I absolutely love this place and it has now become my first choice for some good quick, non greasy fast food. I REALLY hope that they last and don't fold like all the other places before them! First, let's get this out of the way, this is not a knock off of Adalbertos. This is better, far better. And yes Jimboys and Adalbertos is across the street, but this place takes the win, no question. I've had the pastor tacos and the carne Asada tacos so far and both have been delicious. They are not greasy or small portions, they are traditional. They come with onions and cilantro and a nice amount of meat. The chips and salsa are complimentary when you order food. They have a good selection of Jarritos and other bottle drinks. Super clean interior and smells clean and fresh air. I am really happy for the owners of this place because I've seen several businesses open and close in that location but none have had the influx of customers this place has already generated. Congrats to them. I look forward to trying more of the plate meals, especially the chili verde. If your around go try them out and I'm sure you'll be happy you went there rather than the other places around here. read more

This place recently opened near me and instead of going to my trusty Adalbertos for a breakfast burrito, I decided to give this place a try. Big mistake! BIG, BIG MISTAKE! Everything seemed normal and efficient as I ordered through the drive thru. I got home and ate half of it. An hour later I was I doubled over in pain and miserable as all hell. I've never had food poisoning, but based upon what my friends who have had it before, that is exactly what I had. Upon initial bite, it was a bland tasting burrito. Obviously, something was in there that was adding a dose of not so good flavor. It took me a whole whopping 24 hours to get back to normal. I will NEVER give this place a try again. The service was great, the food was horrible!!! Bland tasting, micro-organism, gut busting burrito, that I will never ever give an opportunity to again. I love this place. The portions are huge and the refried beans are not from a can. The enchiladas are packed w/meat and they didn't chince on the cheese like most places. I made 3 meals out of that one plate of food. The only thing they need is a liquor license to sell some cerveza. The parking lot and seating is limited , but I don't care there's a drive thru and they are open 24/7. They also have a salsa bar and fresh thin, crispy tortilla chips. Free refills on the soda.
